Adam moved to handcuff him, but Carson rely glanced at the dark gun barrel, not resisting at all.
The car was parked in a secluded small square in an alley. The surroundings were eerily quiet, with no visible figures, yet it felt like eyes were watching them from every corner, surveilling and observing.
Adam and Jaster drew their guns, lowering themselves while aiming in all directions outside the car.
They saw nothing, only sensing an eerie silence.
In light of Carson’s words, danger seed imminent. Staying in the car didn’t feel safe, yet stepping out would make them sitting targets!
The two were so tense they didn’t know what to do.
Inside the car, Lin Weiwei’s face also showed panic.
Thankfully, Lei Ying was by her side, preventing her from being too frightened.
Xiya remained relatively calm.
“How did you figure it out?” Bai Xiaosheng asked Xiya calmly.
Xiya looked at Bai Xiaosheng and answered honestly, “From just now, I noticed sothing was off about him. The car was heading into more and more remote areas, and he kept observing us through the rearview mirror with a cold gaze!”
