Bai Xiaosheng returned to his hotown to visit his parents and grandmother and brought gifts for all his elders and siblings. Thinking that the last visit was half a year ago and this ti he could only stay for two days, Bai Xiaosheng cherished his ti with his family.

Bai Xiaosheng was taken aback, realizing he guessed wrong. He noticed the "worry" on Lin Weiwei’s face seed to have a different cause, not the emotion of parting.
"What happened? What’s the matter?" Bai Xiaosheng put down his teacup and asked at once.
Lei Ying also listened attentively.
"I might not be able to leave." Lin Weiwei said with a wry smile, her expression one of both frustration and amusent. "My mom insists on setting up for a blind date. If I don’t agree to et the guy tomorrow, she says she’ll cut ties with ! My dad is also making a fuss! You guys co and get out of here!"
Bai Xiaosheng and Lei Ying were left speechless.
The two exchanged looks, not expecting Lin Weiwei to face a "forced marriage" on her return ho.
They had only heard of such things before, never encountered it, let alone thought Lin Weiwei would face it.
"Well, it could be a good thing. You might as well et the guy. What if he’s a handso fellow? As long as it doesn’t delay the schedule, it’s fine." Lei Ying joked with a cheerful tone.
This big guy showed a surprisingly enthusiastic side.
"eting him wouldn’t hurt; it might ease your parents’ minds. If you don’t like him, just don’t contact him afterward." Bai Xiaosheng also said.
Besides all of Lin Weiwei’s holdings, her bank savings already exceeded a hundred million, she’s beautiful, and so young.
With such conditions, a blind date?

Bai Xiaosheng looked at Lei Ying, his expression dark, "You’re not lacking in eloquence? You speak quite fluently! You being a married man, well, I have a girlfriend! If Xuelian finds out, do you think I’ll live?"

Lei Ying might not be talkative, but that doesn’t an he’s not articulate.
"How about... we discuss it a bit more?" Bai Xiaosheng suggested softly.
"Sure," Lei Ying nodded with a smile, "In any case, no matter what, I’m not playing her boyfriend. That’s on you. Everything else, let’s discuss."
Bai Xiaosheng glanced at him sideways.
Then what’s there to discuss!
"If there’s really no other way," Bai Xiaosheng held his breath, "I’ll do it! After all, it’s just pretend..."
