At night, to avoid further quarrels, I decided to take sobody else in my room in the guise of giving a reward. I also wanted to do a little research so I chose Arsenti to accompany tonight.
Galen and Kyros looked stunned at my choice which if you think about it, was out of nowhere. The two haven't spoken to each other yet but due to their shared circumstances, they looked at each other, smiled helplessly then sighed. They looked at at the sa ti then rolled their eyes. The woman's na is Esha. He admitted that he doesn't know if it was her real na and if the hotown and the husbands she told stories about even existed. He's never been in other territories except his previous hotown and here.
He said that he found out that he was 3 weeks pregnant after he got dizzy and passed out all of a sudden. At that ti, it was already late in the afternoon and it happened as he woke up to help out in preparing Kama for its opening ti at night.
He was checked by a doctor sent by Noir and that was the ti the pregnancy was confird. He was planning to tell Esha about the pregnancy but when he looked for her, he found out that she has already left Sklavryet during lunch ti while he was still asleep.
He started sobbing a bit as he told that he was devastated at the betrayal. She never told him that her employnt contract was already finished. She left just like that without any explanation or a goodbye. He knew he was abandoned and he admitted to even trying to kill himself and the child in his belly due to embarassnt and sadness.
He smiled a bit and said that the people in Kama were the ones who helped him through those difficult tis so he will never leave this place even if he's old and wrinkly. He proudly said that the baby is now four months old and they're doing quite fine.
As for his health, he said that his morning sickness was really bad during the first two months of his pregnancy. He sotis has no appetite at all while the rest of the ti, he looks for food which is not easily accessible in this place so everybody in Kama was struggling to take care of him. He also said that he cries for no reason and his hair started falling out a bit too during that ti.
He suddenly thanked since he felt that his health beca better and he was less queasy after I started cooking als for them. He said that he always knew that I placed vitamins and healing potions in the food since his tastebuds are more sensitive compared to the others.
I asked for permission to touch his belly and check on the child and he happily nodded his head. I caressed his belly gently and gradually spread my mana inside to check on the child. Luckily, the child is healthy even if his father was depressed and malnourished at the start of the pregnancy.
I looked at Arsenti's face and his eyes were starting to droop from sleepines. He smiled at and said that it feels very relaxing when a warm hand caresses his belly. I whispered to him, "Do you want to know if you're having a boy or a girl?" His eyes widened and asked, all the sleepiness leaving his body, "You can tell ?" I nodded my head.
He looked at the ceiling as if pondering. He then looked at , "You can tell then but let's keep it a secret." I smiled and said softly, "Boy". He smiled widely and then tears started to fall from his eyes. He said a very soft "Thanks" to .
He snuggled next to , seemingly very comfortable under the warm covers. I kept my hand on top of his belly as if protecting it and calming him.
After several minutes of silence, I carefully asked, "Have you ever tried to find Esha and tell her that you have a child?" He answered, "Of course I did and I hated her even more after the things I found out about her."
Oh! The gossip is getting juicier.
He continued, "We found out that she used a lot of aliases and was a total profligate. She changes nas for every territory she enters as a contractual employee. She has a long list of male victims. So she used for money or material things, others for connections to get higher paying jobs but one thing all these n have in common was that she bedded them and promised them marriage. I wasn't the only want she left pregnant. There were a couple of us, each in a different territory."
Wow! The turn of events is getting darker.
I tried not to show my enthusiasm but it still cane out as I energetically asked, "So what did you do when you found out about that?" My voice gave away and Arsenti laughed a bit at how excited I was for the next part of the story.
He gave an evil smirk and responded, "Nothing in particular, really. I just asked Noir to post her picture in every wanted criminal board in every territory in this world since she's a scamr." I let out a gasp that I did overdramatically which made him giggle a bit.
He continued, "Too bad for her, one of her victims is a son of a bandit group leader. The said bandit leader dealt with her and sold her to an illegal research institute. You know those owned by mystiques where won were forced to copulate with several males from different races hoping for a pregnancy? She stayed there for less than a year, forced to do sothing that she usually did with her victims until she hated it. She ended up shrivelling up, her essence emptied out and then she died horribly."
I smiled at him and gave him a thumbs up. I was glad that Arsenti was able to get so form of justice for himself and all the other victims of that evil woman's sches.
After the story, he looked a bit sad all of a sudden. Even if she was evil, I know that Arsenti still loved that woman, whatever her real na may be. They still have a child together so it was normal for him to feel down about her death.
I changed the topic to get his mind out of that depressed state and asked, "You do know that I am not exactly human, right?" He looked at and nodded. I was pondering on offering him sothing but I asked him to tell his story so I can be sure that he will seriously consider it.
Now that I am sure that nothing is holding him back, I asked, "What if I tell you that I have a way to make the child in your belly yours and mine biologically through a blood conversion ritual. Would you consider doing it and letting beco your son's mother?"
His head snapped towards my direction and his eyes were wide as saucers. He asked , "Can you say that again? I seed to have heard sothing unbelievable?" I repeated the sa question as it is and he stared blankly at .
He put his hand on his belly, right on top of my hand. He inhaled deeply and responded, "I know I can't offer that much. I am no longer pure and got knocked up too. If you would take and my child as your own, I will serve you willingly with everything I have for the rest of my life, master."
I smiled at him and placed a seal on his womb. It will gradually convert the part of the child's blood which is that of his biological mother to mine. The child will co out looking like Arsenti so no one would know if we keep this deal a secret between us.
As for him, I will give him a much milder deification pill that will stretch his transformation to four and a half months instead of the normal three months. I want to keep him and my new son safe so we have to do it in lower doses. His body should be ready by the ti he is about to give birth.
Maybe you are wondering what was I thinking, stealing sobody else's child? I need more children so I got to do what I have to do. This girl has to find alternate ways to get this mission done.
I plan to find more pregnant n in similar situations and give them the sa offer. I also plan to adopt orphaned babies who were less than two years old for the sa purpose.
I hid it from Arsenti but I can just actually take the child away by the ti it is eight and a half months old inside his belly. He won't even feel anything when I take the child out. I can even erase his mories about getting pregnant or eting the woman who hurt him if he asked to.
As for the baby, I can raise it as my own if I wanted to and do the blood conversion ritual on the child. The child is quite small so it will only take a month and it would be totally painless. As for the father, he can go on with his life as a single, no-strings-attached man but I don't think Arsenti falls under that type so I eventually decided to change my offer at the last minute.
