At first, Laerad stared at as if he did not understand what I was saying. It took almost a minute for his mind to process what I just said. He asked, tears starting to form in his eyes, "Did you just say child?" Laerad asked in confusion but his eyes are already starting to produce tears as he was asking his clarifying question. I looked at him with a serious face and asked a question in return, "Didn't you say you want little Laerads? Did you think doing it for a whole month would not garner any results?"
He looked down towards his body and placed a hand on his womb. He then murmured but it was still loud enough for to hear, "How can this possible? It is close to impossible for deities to have children. If they do have one, it takes hundreds, no, thousands of years to sire one with a partner that is carefully chosen after countless trial and errors. How..."
I stopped his train of thought by making a side comnt, "Did doing it too much give you an amnesia? You are the deity of creation in this world and I am sowhat the deity of fertility. Isn't it a perfect match made by the gods?"
He looked at blankly and replied, "Oh. Right... That... A powerful combination... I see."
Thinking that he was not ready for the child, I gave him an option and said, "If you think it is too much for you or you are not yet ready, we can place them in the room of beginnings and Aelorus will take care of the child."
He looked at with surprise in his eyes then he hugged his stomach protectively. He then gritted his teeth and told off, "No! This is my child. I will always want it and I will carry it."
I hugged the guy tight and soothed him. I assured him that I am not taking the child away but simply giving him an option. He nodded and leaned his head on my shoulder.
He had a serene smile on his face this ti. He then answered as if saying his thoughts out loud, "That makes sense. It is just unbelievable, not that it doesn't have a chance to happen. It is rare for deities to be born through copulation. When deities want to have children, they use a fusion of mana and life essences to create a new deity. No love, no feelings, just a sense of duty and that young deity already has an assigned work to do once it is born too."
I nodded my head a few tis while listening intently to Laerad's story. After he was done with what he had to say, I smiled at him and shared my thoughts on the matter. I told him that I was blessed with high fertility and the fertility of the man does not have a bearing on that matter. As for our child or children, I just want them to grow up healthy and happily and maybe just help him from ti to ti to manage the world tree realm. I told him that those are my only expectations.
He looked at for a few seconds wordlessly and then he smiled shyly looking down on his stomach again. With a worried voice he then asked, "I was just wondering, why can't I feel our child? Did I do sothing wrong? Why do you know that I am with child but I couldn't feel it?"
I caressed his back and whispered, "I felt a tug in my soul on the morning after our first night together and by experience, it ans that a child is born from . You must have been too drunk in pleasure and your senses were overwheld for you to notice it. I imdiately placed a barrier around your womb area to ensure that even if we may get too rough at tis, the child will be fine."
He nodded his head in understanding but still asked to be sure if the barrier will not have any negative effect on the child. I can see the fear in his eyes as he asks if it is possible to remove the barrier on regular days but place it back when we want to have so intimate ti together.
I could help but giggle on the last thing he ntioned that he is worried about. He looked at with a surprised expression then his eyes seem to be questioning as to what seems to be funny about anything he said. I coughed to control myself from laughing further and then I said, "It is just that you were worried for the children but still want to do naughty stuff with again if given the chance."
He stared at but this ti, it seems that his eyes were showing hurt. He then asked, "Is this just a transactional relationship? I asked for a child so you gave one so now you're done with ? You are not going to touch again?"
I sighed and shook my head. I ignored his dramatic questions and answered his earlier questions. I told him that the barrier was a protective asure I placed since we tend to be too rough in bed. It will also serve as a ans to regulate the mana flowing into the children since we both have abundant and dense mana. We don't want the child's small body to be overwheld or over fed with nourishnt in any way.
He suddenly hugged my waist, pleading for the removal of the barrier this ti. I gently placed my hand over his womb and took the barrier away. I placed my hand on top of the hand he is using to caress his womb. I closed my eyes and let my mana flow inside to check on the life that we have successfully created inside his womb. I tried listening to heartbeats and also the unique mana flow that each individual soul has. Surprisingly, I also heard two of them, as expected with the buff I got from the gods of this dinsion.
I opened my eyes and smiled at Laerad. He asked if I have removed the barrier but I said I hadn't since I checked inside his womb first. I then teased him that it was fun to listen in. He then asked to hurry and remove the barrier so he can check as well. It seems that my barrier is especially designed to safeguard the life of my children so even deity mana can't negate or go through it.
I closed my eyes again and this ti, I really removed the temporary barrier. I opened my eyes again and nodded at Laerad. He imdiately focused his mana and checked inside. He then looked at with widened eyes and the next thing I knew, I was being kissed until I was breathless again. I did let him do whatever he wanted and kissed back until he was satisfied.
After a few minutes, he finally ended the kiss and rested his forehead on mine. He whispered, "Thank you." and place another soft kiss on my lips. He then asked, "How co that it is another set of twins? Are you only able to sire twins?"
I honestly told him what Aelorus told by accident during one of our talks inside the room of beginnings. I shared with him that it was like a buff that the gods gave to help complete my mission faster. I admitted that I thought that it won't work on him since he's a deity and mystique mana is not supposed to work on him. It goes to show that this fertility buff I was blessed with may be at least deity level or even god level then.
He smiled and replied, "Then it ans that it will be easier for you to ensure that the races won't die out. You don't have to take in too many lovers since just a few should suffice."
I laughed at his comnt and gave a sarcastic remark, "Oh, sure you are thinking about my well-being and my mission. For so reason though, I feel that you are just happy that you will have less n or should I say rivals to think about?"
He grasped dramatically and replied, "Oh my! I can never really hide anything from you. You know exactly what is in my mind and in my heart, my wife."
I enjoyed our playful banters a lot but I enjoy it even more when I win in the end. I laughed dramatically, "I am also quite happy since instead of 12 tis, you will only need to do it 6 tis for . Isn't that a wonderful thing for you?"
He looked stunned and confused at my out of the blue comnt and asked, "What do you an? I don't understand."
I looked at him and teased with the sa tone of voice and exaggeration he used earlier, "Oh my! You must really have amnesia after doing nothing but fulfilling your worldly desires for a month. Don't tell you forgot the punishnt I decided to give you before."
I saw his eyes stare blankly at but after a few seconds, it showed gradual realization. His face then gradually blushed until he was almost like a tomato. To ensure that he understood what I ant, I said in a whisper, "2 down, 10 more to go, my husband." (this punishnt was ntioned in Chapter 100 and 101)
