Looking at Void, I can't help but be amused at his sudden cowardice. I thought he was quite brave, even purposely putting the eting with his father at the end of the list of things to do today. We even went around like we were having a leisurely date throughout the territory as if nobody is waiting for us here in the palace. The dark elf king, Eirsolin coughed embarassedly as he greeted . I accepted his greeting and also greeted him with respect since I am technically inside his territory. He has a smile plastered on his face while addressing but I can see the glare he was giving Void whenever his eyes laid on him in passing. He imdiately called for so attendants to serve so refreshnts then led to his personal chambers used to entertain guests.

I followed him obediently and took a seat in one of the comfortable chairs. Having looked around the palace earlier and now seeing the personal chambers of the king, I can see that they have tried to still keep the palace looking presentable for guests but compared to my inherited mories, the opulence and grandeur of the days past were all gone. They must have sold off most of the valuables to tide over the day to day needs of all his people which made him get more plus points as a father-in-law and as a leader in my heart.

He must have noticed my silence but he looked unsure as to how to start the conversation so he simply looked at wearily while signaling his son through his eyes to talk about sothing or tell him what my sudden visit was for. As for Void, he looked away, avoiding his father's eyes and simply pretended to be clueless of the reason. I looked at them in amusent and I would have laughed out loud if I was not eting them as a royal representative of another kingdom today.

I smiled and started talking, "It was nice to et you again, King Eirsolin. The last ti we t is when you visited in the acade a few months ago. How has everything been here in your territory?"

He looked at and gave a polite smile then responded, "I do apologize if I was not able to visit you again after that. Managing a sanctuary and making sure every mber of my race gets what they needed is a very challenging thing to do nowadays. My daily tasks as king have always took up most of my ti."

I nodded to him in understanding. There was a few monts of awkward silence since we really do not have much to talk about since we are barely acquaintances. I simply cald him down and told him that I do not mind. I looked at Void while he stared back at as if begging for to just talk about it. I smirked at him and continued staring at him in a teasing manner as if waiting for him to feel even more uncomfortable. He did not disappoint as he looked increasingly aggrieved as if he was about to cry.

I noticed my future father-in-law looking at us in confusion staring at and then his son back and forth. I turned my head and looked at him with a smile. I then started speaking again but not about what Void expected to hear, "King Eirsolin, I actually ca to look around your territory so I can map the area and create a new living area for your people in the new world tree realm. Your son have been very helpful and diligent in completing the tasks I have assigned to him that this is the least I could do."

I saw the genuine surprise on King Eirsolin's face and then he started thanking profusely in advance for thinking about the well-being of his people. As for Void, he looked down and stayed quiet. I saw his hands fidgeting uncomfortably seemingly nervous.

I asked my future father-in-law about other things that his people might need and though he looked nervously, he answered as honestly as possible which I highly appreciated. Noticing his insolent son suddenly becoming quiet when he should have been making sure to report what the sanctuary needed, he called on to him.

Void, as if being shaken awake from his thoughts, looked up to look at his father totally forgetting his eyes that are started to turn red and was about to cry. His father looked at him in confusion as to why he is starting to be childish as if he was bullied out of the blue. I stared at him and when Void noticed looking at him, his looked away to try to hid his feelings showing on his normally cold face.

Thinking that I have teased him enough, I addressed King Eirsolin which surprised him, "Father-in-law, please excuse ." Before the king could react on what I just said, I gripped the back of Void's head to turn his gaze towards then gave him a lingering smack on his lips. He stiffened at first but knowing this pervert's almost non-existent will to resist, he kissed back hungrily totally forgetting that we are in front of his father.

Though I did not intend to show others so of our intimate interactions, I had no choice but to grab Void's hair and pull it back a bit to snap him out of his lewd thoughts and stop the kiss. being out of control, he looked at as if I bullied him and tried to get away from my hand that was gripping his hair murmuring, "I want more" repeatedly.

I looked at King Eirsolin and smiled while gesturing at his son that has obviously lost all control and sense of propriety, "The other thing I want to talk about is this." He looked at with widened eyes then he furrowed his brows but did not respond.

To clear up further I said, "I would want to ask your permission to take in your only son as my official partner. This is what I was trying to say." As if hearing a magic word, Void stopped struggling as he regained his senses. He tapped my hand to tell to release my grip which I did almost imdiately.

He coughed to get his father's attention and clarified, "Before you berate , we have not done everything. I wanted to do so but she always refused since she wants to ask your permission first. Honestly, I don't think it was needed at all but I have to respect her wishes."

I heard my father-in-law scoff but he chose to respond to instead, "Your highness, I know that may son may lack a lot of things but he is pure and he has talked several tis about how much he likes to be yours. I do not have any plans to block your union but I would just like to ask a favor for you to take care of my son and be more patient with him since he is honestly a huge pain most of the ti."

Instead of defending Void, I ended up letting go of the laugh I was trying to keep in from the start of our eting. Void looked at as if he was hurt deeply then he addressed his father, "Father, are you trying to support our union or are you actually trying to discredit so my wife will despise and leave ? Am I really your son?"

I stood up and walked towards the place where my father-in-law was sitting and sat beside him, ignoring Void's complaints. I then placed a barrier around the King Eirsolin and since this ti we will be talking as leaders of our territories. I asked him how soon can his people move and he said that they don't own many things so they can ove anyti.

We talked about other boring things and he reported certain managerial issues and other problems he is facing as of the mont and I gave him so insights that he could use as reference to resolve them. as we were talking, Void kept on knocking on the barrier complaining why he isn't included in our conversations. I looked at him and lifted my hand so that the pouch that Void kept in his waist flies to my hand. I politely gave it to my father-in-law and told him that this is their assigned sustenance for the month. Lastly, I gave my promise to take care of his child but as of now, he has to order him to stay within the territory to help in the preparations of moving to the new world tree realm.

I bid my goodbye then gave a smile to Void. I nodded towards my father-in-law again and then teleported back to Marahuyo. Since we are trying to push the plans forward in a quicker pace, we have to push through with that rescue since there are so many other things that I have to do.
