I sighed in relief when Ioannis agreed to my suggestion of assigning Laerad to handle the mystique husbands' affairs and with him just handling the deified ones. I thought he would hate the idea of sowhat giving part of his authority to others. I also don't want him to think that he is losing favor from just because I assigned more tasks to another husband.

I guess I worried for nothing because he looked quite calm and open about it. I asked him if it was really okay for him to go with my suggestion and I ended up getting scolded again out of the blue.

He told that currently, there are only three things he cared about. He said that it would be our growing family ( and the twins), his own peace and also helping out to earn more money. He said that he never liked drama and fixing useless fights due to jealousy between n.

To divert his attention for a bit, I started telling him stories about imperial dramas that I used to read about back on earth with the intention of laughing at how overly dramatic the scenes were at tis. He seed to be interested in it as he curiously asked more about the plots of those dramas. Though I avoided the being too specific on other things since its not like I will let it happen in our family, he seed to have automatically placed himself in the sa situation with the characters in those dramas.

For so reason, we eventually broached the topic about the imperial harem system and how it works. He looked like he was digesting all the information he is getting from thoroughly.

I patiently started with a little background information first like the reason why it was established and its part in the history of most countries in olden tis that were governed by kings or emperors. Based on history, it wasn't much about cheating since most of the won believe that there is honor in being chosen as a concubine for emperors and kings.

These won and their families get lots of benefits including power, money and prestige from the harem setup. It is also still connected with the idea of arranged marriages in a sense. Even I have four arranged marriages and I am in a different world right now.

I told him that the harem system already exists in this world if we think about it though it may have been called other nas as we only call ours a family and others simply term it as "different households under a certain family na".

I told him that our family has a similar setup to the harem system just like all the other households in this world. The only difference is that the roles are reversed since it is the won who are required to have more husbands to increase the population here and they are expected to bring ho the money to provide for the family.

Ioannis asked a few other clarifying questions that I patiently answered one by one. Once he has fully understood the idea, I then gave him more specific examples to ensure he fully understands it. I started by saying that since I am the queen, he as my main husband is actually the king of Eieneos though it was not officially titled yet since I myself did not accept my title just yet. Honestly, I just want to be a princess forever if I had a choice

He nodded in understanding but at the sa ti, he imdiately corrected that I should be called an "empress" instead since I don't only manage the Eieneos kingdom but also other territories such as Marahuyo, Sklavryet and the new trade city that was being built next to it. With these points, it made think that he was actually correct.

He further explained the fact that each mystique race is technically one kingdom. He then summarized it by saying what he understood as differences between a queen and an empress which is mostly about the size of the territory that each governs.

It made think that after considering all the facts, he had a valid point. I was indeed an empress without noticing it. Or, maybe, I was just in denial or I hated the fact that I will have to take care of more people if I accepted my official title.

I did delegate a lot of tasks to others since I want to live as freely as I wanted to. Becoming an empress ans I have many territories that I have to take care of, protect and provide financially for. Just thinking about it is already giving a migraine.

I opted to avoid any further discussions so I just accepted the title my husband bestowed upon in the end. Having won a debate, he then happily said that he will be promoted as well to an emperor since he is my main husband. I don't know if I should laugh or cry with all the things we talked about only to find out in the end that he just wanted a higher title.

We decided to continue our little chit chat with him assigning titles to other n in my life. For so reason, Ioannis seed to be having the ti of his life doing so though he seed to just be goofing around.

He started with Laerad giving him the title of the main consort instead since he said that he got promoted already to emperor. He then assigned the normal consort title to the four sleeping beauties. As for the others, they can simply be regular husbands with the title of "lords" according to him.

He chose the next ranked ones to be concubines just like how this world calls them. He then looked at with a little irritation and he scoffed all of a sudden. He then said, "Everybody else who isn't officially introduced will be your lovers then. Happy?"

Ioannis was so interested in the topic of harems a while ago and even had fun conferring titles to others like he's the emperor but now I was being scolded again all of a sudden. Please rember that I never once assigned titles to other people from the start of our conversation. The only ti I did so was on myself and I was even corrected by him.

It was all on him then he got irritated all on his own. Now I am getting scolded again. I really don't understand these mood swings anymore. I feel like crying and getting angry at the sa ti.

I stayed silent and just looked away while my husband is still grumbling continuously. I sighed and just pounced on him for a kiss to shut him up.

He was stunned but still kissed back almost imdiately. Our kiss lingered for a few minutes but I did not take it any further. I have the right to be grumpy and petty too, you know?

After a few minutes, I ended the kiss with a panting and dazed Ioannis staring blankly at since he may be wondering why we ended with just a kiss. I looked at him with an emotionless face instead and declared, "You had fun conferring titles like so emperor then you start accusing and scolding when I did nothing? Did I force the idea on you?"

Please understand that I never argued with Ioannis. I usually give in to whatever he wants and just accepts the scolding even though I am confused most of the ti as to why I am being scolded. I guess I spoiled him too much, huh?

He was stunned with the change in my tone of voice and how cold I looked at him. It took him so ti to digest the last question I asked him. When he finally realized what I was pertaining to, he looked at submissively and shook his head frantically.

I continued, "You know what, let's scrap the whole harem title thing. If you hate managing others, I can delegate that to others who can. It is not a big deal and you can just focus on taking care of the twins. If you feel like it is still too much, ask my parents to help you out."

With that I stood up and did not look at him anymore. Mind you, I might not have ntioned it all this ti but we are still in my study with my parents just listening in quietly from the ti we are happily chatting until I grumpily left. I looked at my parents and nodded my head politely then left the study.

I went up the stairs straight to the room where the four sleeping beauties were originally staying. I hovered around the glass do covering the red haired buff guy who is the heir of house... hmm... Let just check on the head of this huge bed first.

I walked around the bed and read, "Flynn". Now, I rember. Though I do not rember his first na though. Well, it is Samir's job to brief this guy about what he needs to do in this kingdom and then I will just wait for his report afterwards.

I am a little irritated right now for so reason. I don't mind getting scolded if it was my fault. I have always been honest with Ioannis and have told him about my mission and how I will go about it from the start. Just today alone, I got scolded at least four ti and I did not even do anything bad.

He said he understood and he was fine with it as long as I don't abandon him. I never intended to do that but to be fair, I did not abandon the others who got entangled with as well. I might delay relaying information at tis but still tell him everything about it when things have been fully settled. Whenever he asks for more specific details, I answered him honestly even if he doesn't like how the truth sounded like afterwards.

Now, I get scolded whenever he felt like it. He must think that my patience and understanding is endless.

If he resents being in this setup with so much, why are we even here talking about it? I am really tempted to just wake up these three sleeping n at the sa ti and let chaos descend for all I care. I will just let all of them settle their issues amongst themselves.
