After dinner, Arthur volunteered to clean up the dining area since I already took his job of cooking dinner earlier. I also think that it is his way to take his mind off of the embarrassing things that happened when the others arrived and he had to explain things to everyone.

I stayed seated in the dining area so in response to that, none of the others moved from their seats around the dining table. I asked a question to anybody who is willing to answer while staring on the table, "How are the preparations for the ritual coming in the palace?"

Calyx answered almost imdiately, "Everything has been prepared. We are just waiting for the designated date and the arrival of the other nobles that will witness the ritual."

I looked at Calyx with a raised brow and asked, "Is their presence really necessary? You do know that I prefer to only have a few people know that I am married to an Athanoviyan prince, right?"

Helios was the one who answered this ti as he explained, "The rituals were set during the establishnt of the kingdom so we don't have a way around it and it has to be done as stated. We made sure to only invite noble witnesses that can keep their mouth shut and are known as allies to the royal family."

I scoffed and replied, "Alright then. Just make sure to advise them to know what they and they should not say. I don't think they would appreciate a visit from Noir if they do not know what's good for them."

Yren suddenly looked towards my direction and stared. After a few seconds, he smirked and said, "Wow. That was a very creative way to say that their life is at stake so they better think twice before blabbering. Impressive."

I nodded at Yren then gave him a mischievous wink. Since everything on Aurum's side was covered, we'll just have to wait for the ritual itself than should happen in about two weeks.

As if suddenly rembering sothing, I gasped and asked, "How about the things back in your hotowns? Is everything happening as planned?"

Xenos raised his hand to get my attention as he reported, "Everything is panning out as we expected. Earnings are being steadily deposited under our personal accounts as we speak. Are you sure that you don't want the money to go straight to your account instead?"

I shook my head and responded, "The money I gave to you to start your revenge was a wedding gift. The fruits of all the financial and planning assistance that I gave to you is all yours and you can do anything you want with it. This is trying to be fair as much as I can. I have been helping out Aurum for almost a year now and he has been enjoying the fruits of that so it is just right that I do the sa for the four of you."

Calyx, Helios, Xenos and Yren looked at in stunned silence. Their eyes were showing hints of gratitude and happiness. Though I can't give them the title of husband imdiately due to the constraints of the Athanoviyan Family Law, it doesn't an I can't treat them the sa as my other husbands even if the family register deems then as concubines in title.

This brings to my attention that I may need to allot property under my husbands' nas to give them a stable source of inco for their own households under my family register. It is also a way to reassure them of their status in the family and that I am always here to back them in whatever they want to do in the future.

I am planning to give the Moonlight Inn block to Kayden. The block next to it that which I just bought and temporarily nad "Starlight" to keep with the evening vibe would then go to Lark in the future.

Everything else in Hoffen CIty will be Aurum's while I have already made arrangents for his four aides of properties back in their hotowns. I would enrich the original domain of Dimitri's grandparents in Arista as my gift to him. I am still thinking of a way to provide a property to Ioannis as well but I still have a year or so to plan that out since I really can't stay outside the acade for too long.

When everything has been discussed and settled on Aurum's side of the family, I then addressed Dimitri to check on his family. Husband number three smiled and told that his grandparents' health have greatly improved so the hacienda has been doing way better than before. He invited to visit again soon so I can check what others things I may want to add or need to be done. I nodded at his invitation quickly since I indeed plan to drop by with him before we go to Eieneos.

I asked Dimitri if we can speak in private about sothing important and he looked surprised for so reason. I can see a flicker of sadness in his eyes as if he already resigned to the idea that what I was about to discuss with him was not very pleasant.

I stood up and asked Dimitri to follow to the study since the topic would be confidential. He stood up and followed quietly. As for the others, they looked at each other as if asking if anybody has an idea if there were any issues between and Dimitri recently. It seems that I really got myself a gossipy bunch.

Once we are inside my study, Dimitri imdiately sat on one of the chairs in silence. I sat on my designated chair. Just when I was about to start speaking, he cut off by asking, "Does this have sothing to do with our upcoming trip to your hotown for our honeymoon?"

I sighed and smiled at him. I answered quickly by saying, "It is not really about the honeymoon itself. We will definitely go back to my hotown and you will et my parents as well as all go through all the necessary formalities to make things official on my side of the family. It is sothing quite connected to it though."

He stared at for several seconds and heavily sighed after. He gave a helpless smile and asked, "Is this about you making give up sothing for soone you prefer more? I always though that this would happen eventually. It was just sooner than I expected."

Huh? What is he talking about? Is this his insecurity or maybe his jealousy speaking?

For the first ti, I did not know how to react to an accusation thrown at . I know we started with a "business contract" but I have long accepted him as my husband. I try to keep things as fair as possible and kept my promises to him too. I never asked Dimitri to do things that he did not like or give up anything for another husband.

The only thing I could do at that mont was give a mirthless laugh. I shook my head and replied, "The honeymoon will happen. The only thing I want to ask is if you are ready to have a child with . We can delay it a bit if you want to concentrate on your studies first or you have things you want to accomplish first for the Vacarro estate."

Dimitri's mouth was agape as he stared at in disbelief. The only thing he could ask, "Why are we talking about this? We have done it so many tis and I haven't gotten pregnant. I was getting worried that you will hate for it since you want a lot of children. Is there a problem with ? Am I barren?"

As his questions poured one after the other, his voice cracked here and there. He leaned down and covered his face with both his hands. I started hearing sniffing sounds afterwards.

I was really right. Ioannis' giving birth to my children is really giving a lot of pressure and stress to my other deified husbands. Did they all think the sa way since they aren't getting pregnant for several months since I accepted them? I just realized that I have forgotten to explain about the birth control seal to the other three, huh?

He looked at at full attention and nodded. I started seriously, "I placed a temporary seal on your womb to make it impossible for you to get pregnant. All my other husbands and those four concubines have it too. Ioannis got pregnant and Kayden is also confird to be pregnant now because I removed the seal on them during our honeymoon back in my hotown."
