Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?! Chapter 432 - Helping out the Ferreira House

The next morning, once I was done with breakfast and dressing up, I teleported straight in the middle of the living room of the Ferreira house. The attendants in the villa were all surprised as I apeared without prior notice. They ran in panic to get a hold of their boss the soonest, scared that my patience will run out.

Leroy and Marga ca down the staircase quickly, their clothes evidently worn in a lot of hurry. I looked at them with one of my eyebrows raised as I instructed, "Just call on the n who would be working today. You two can just eat your breakfast first while I talk to them."

Leroy imdiately called for his close aide and whispered so instructions. Marga ran towards the kitchen giving instructions to the staff. One of the staff also ran upstairs, most likely to wake up the other mbers of the family that I have not t just yet.

After what seems to be a quarter of an hour, a middle aged woman entered the Ferreira mansion. She imdiately approached and bowed low in greeting. She introduced herself as Harlen, the Ferreira household’s chief builder.

I stood up from where I was sitting and started walking towards the outside of the villa. Harlen was surprised but still followed out. While we were walking, I asked her how much she knew of the plans Leroy and I talked about for the Ferreira territory. And just like any craftsman I know, she started blabbering excitedly of how great the plans were and how honored she felt that she would be part of such a wonderful project.

I simply listened intently as she talked in a very jolly and animated manner. After so ti, she noticed that I was quiet and coughed embarrassedly. I chuckled at her sudden silence and told her that I am also excited to work with her. The short comnt made the woman blush shyly,

We continued walking until we reached the specific site where the majority of the construction will take place. I made it a priority to install light orbs throughout the territory for safety purposes and because the mines here operate 24/7. We also gave the road a smoother finish and used sturdier materials since mine carts go back and forth in these area. I secretly placed self-repair runes during construction so the roads will be well maintained for a very long ti.

Helga assigned a part of her construction team as well as a trusted overseer for the first two tasks above so it can be started as soon as possible. We continued to the living area where most contracted miners stay. The place was temporarily cleared up since I have plans to improve the grounds where the hos will be built.

I decided to place five small apartnt type structures in this area but still keep a part of the area where people can live in tents if they want to. The apartnts were only 3 floors each but each floor has 8 units that can fit about 4-6 people. People are free to chip in and live together in the units if they prefer. It is most ideal for miners that brought their families with them.

I also placed a lot of temperature regulating, self-repair and self-cleaning spells all around the area. I have also designated an area where all the trash can be thrown in for sanitation purposes. We also built a community kitchen area so that people can cook their als freely. The Ferreira Household decided to shoulder the fuel needed for cooking as well as all the cooking equipnt. The ones who will use it will only need to think about the ingredients they will use for cooking.

The assigning of tasks for the construction team lasted for about 2 hours while we walked around the territory. I helped in marking the areas where the things we talked about will be built. I distributed materials and helped out in building one apartnt quickly so that the construction team will have a model to copy when they build the other four. I focused more on rebuilding the tent area, sanitation facilities, community kitchen and the spells too.

I finished everything on my end around the middle of the afternoon while the rest of the construction team continued to work until before sunset. At the rate they were constructing things, they may need a few weeks to finish the apartnts and paving the roads. As for the light orbs, they should finish in three days which is not so bad.

Once my work is done, I no longer returned to the Ferreira household and just told Harlen to tell her boss that I have left to rest. Harlen looked panicked for so reason. It may be because she had received so earlier instructions to guide back to the villa no matter what happens. Before she can even stop , I teleported away.

I reappeared in the middle of the open area in my "royal envoy" appearance. I have used 4 different appearances just in this territory alone together with an illusion so that other people will dismiss my existence. It has been tiring to juggle from one look to another but it was a better option to avoid any issues.

Just when I was about to walk back to my wagon, I noticed a commotion in the middle of the open area. It was noticeable because most people keep to themselves and do not crowd together in one place. Out of curiosity, I walked towards the huge group of people and squeezed in until I was a bit in the front. I asked others what was happening while I am at it and it seems like they were gossiping about so cold-hearted parents selling their male children as slaves.

When I was finally in front, I saw what seems to be a family of five due to their similarity in appearances. The family dynamic though seems a bit skewed.

There was a man about 50 or so seated on a mat on the ground. Behind him, there was a beautiful woman who should be in her mid-30s or so dressed with fine clothes carrying a female infant. On one side, there were three boys who were obviously the children that the people are gossiping about, the ones being sold by their cold hearted parents.
