After explaining more about what we needed to do for the day, the three brothers started to feel excited about the tasks ahead. They happily shared to that they know several people that would be a good fit for the job openings that we have in terms of skills and temperant. They were hoping that these people will have the courage to apply for the posts.

On the other hand, Damian was quite nervous because I told him that he is officially the part-owner of everything in the open area since it is mine and he is my husband. He blushed furiously after hearing the official title I have decided to give him. I told him that their team of three brothers have to learn to manage everything since I won’t be around all the ti to take care of things.

Damian looked at in surprise as a reaction to the last sentence I just said. He looked like he had a lot of things to say but since I hurried all of them to prepare and et the applicants, he simply sighed and decided to just talk about it later when we were less busy. I stole a kiss from his lips and turned around to escape. I heard a helpless "you..." as I left the wagon to wait for them outside.

After a few minutes, the three brothers ca out from the wagon, dressed way better and looking much healthier compared to that day we first t in this open area. I heard a loud gasp from the three of them as they saw how much the open area has changed in just a few days that they stayed inside my wagon.

The three of them looked at with questioning eyes and I simply smiled as a response. I grabbed Damian’s hand and started walking forward while Darren and Daryl like a habit, held on to my clothes from behind.

I can feel the intense stares of several pairs pf eyes as the four of us walked across the open area. I guided them towards the two buildings that I just built. As we neared the area, we can see a huge crowd of about 50 or so people lurking around the area and most of them were either smiling excitedly or pale-faced and looked like they were about to pass out from nervousness.

I went straight to the door of the inn and decided to use the diner as the place to interview the applicants for now. It will also give the applicants a first look at one of the workplaces available if ever they get accepted for any job.

I expected Darren and Daryl to stay behind and be shy due to seeing the overwhelmingly huge crowd of people but they surprised when they let go of my clothes and started ushering people to fall in line properly without being told to do so. They asked the older ones to sit on the available chairs and benches while the younger ones were asked to either sit on the floor or stand on one side of the diner so everything is in order.

To organize the hiring process more, we hired per business need. We started with people that are interested in working in the diner and bakery. It needed chefs, bakers, kitchen attendants, dishwashers and servers. As for the cashier, it is not needed since I already made specific spells to make it easy for my employees to make custors pay.

Damian was tasked to run assessnts for the ones applying for specific positions so he is currently assigned to the kitchen of the diner. Darren and Darryl on the other hand started conducting small tests for the inn workers and laundry attendants. He escorted them to one inn room that we assigned earlier for this.

Since hiring is based on skills, there were different types of assessnts like knife skills, cooking skills, knowledge on hygienic practices and demonstrations on speed and efficiency of work. The diner still has the most number of applicants so I advised Damian and Daryl to help their older brother once they are done with the inn and laundromat hiring process.

For Darren and Daryl’ side, there are only a few people who applied for the laundromat but a lot of the inn. The assessnts were more about cleaning knowledge, how to make the bed and folding items properly and proper way of washing and drying clothes. The duo was quite strict with their choices but fortunately, they were still able to fill out the job posts.

As for , I was the one tasked to find proper trading post receptionists, healers/pharmacy attendants and teachers. The assessnts were more academic in nature since it was about reading and writing, identification of herbs, basic of alchemy (making dicine) and etiquette when dealing with custors.

There were very few applicants for the clinic, pharmacy and learning center because the jobs offered there were more specific and the assessnts were more complicated. For so reason, the hardest position to hire for was the trading post attendant since whoever wants to take the role needs to be able to read, write and do math as well.

The hiring process lasted the whole morning till the middle of the afternoon. We provided free als to everyone that participated and are willing to wait for the results of the hiring process. At the end of the day, we were able to give jobs to a total of 48 people, considering 2 changes and 1 day off per week for each person.

We decided to hire 4 cooks, 4 bakers, 8 kitchen attendants, 4 dishwashers, 8 inn workers, 6 laundry workers, 3 inn receptionists, 1 healer, 4 pharmacy workers, 3 trading post workers, 2 clothes store attendants and 1 teacher. I would have loved to hire more healers or teachers to accommodate more patients and learning classes but those two people are the only ones that applied for the positions.

My next task was to discuss the amount of pay as well as how and when they will get it, benefits and schedule of days off. The employees were surprised and ecstatic that they were allowed to take one day off per week. The employnt was secured with a small mana seal on their wrists that serve as their employee identification, contract, and a secure and hidden storage where their salaries will be deposited. The seal was easily accepted by everyone when they heard from that the whole open area will protect anyone that has the seal on them from any type of danger.
