Since my job as a delivery person is done, I just have to go through the eting this ti. I hope it won’t take too long because honestly, I just want to lay on my bed and snuggle with soone under the sheets lazily.

Arriving at the previous tent where I t Andreas and General Delphis, the air was quite different. This ti, there were several more people present. Besides the two that I have t before, other familar faces are present who were the managers of the basic facilities of the camp such as that for the dining, dical and storage ones. There were three new faces who most likely should be General Astrantia and the two people standing behind him which should be his aides.

I sat on the previous seat I used the first ti I ca here. I kept my silence, just looking at each of the people who were present for only a second or two. I gave a firm nod each towards the people I have t earlier. They gave a cordial smile in return.

After everyone has been seated and all accounted for, the eting finally started. Andreas led the flow of the eting since he was the one that accompanied throughout my rounds in the different areas of the camp. He has first hand knowledge and notes about the things I have done for the camp since I arrived and other suggestions I had ntioned that would be nice to do to improve how things are here.

I kept quiet and simply let the guy talk and explain things. He did not discuss the suggestions I gave imdiately and opted to have it discussed towards the end of the eting. He gave the other managers equal opportunities to speak and make their reports towards the two generals present.

After everyone had their ti to speak and share their thoughts, Andreas opened the floor for questions and suggestions to improve the camp. He did not ntion any of my suggestions for now and simply led it like a brainstorming activity for everyone who is present. It made the eting livelier and more collaborative which I think was a good approach.

After he has taken note of all the comnts and suggestions, he closed the topic after half an hour then proceeded to brainstorming for solutions and voting on which one the majority thinks is the best. He also led the discussion on which improvents need to be done first. I was quite impressed on how he handled the eting even if he was not the highest ranked in the room. I guess he usually handles these types of etings on behalf of the general he serves which should explain his confidence.

The suggestions revolved around things like better food choices at the dining facilities, doing so small scale gardening or farming as a past ti for the soldiers, building recreational facilities, better bath area and restrooms, looking for ways to not have to fetch water from the river and even fortifying the existing wall. For so reason, none of them bothered suggesting about getting better hos for themselves so they can finally leave the camping tent lifestyle. Well, Andreas would ntion my suggestions later anyway.

Once all the suggestions were provided, Andreas then ntioned my suggestions for possible construction projects and the reasons why I suggested them. The people around were nodding their heads as the guy confidently defended the important points I have shared to him earlier as if it was his own ideas and answering the questions from the others.

The eting lasted for a little over two hours. The final decision was to indeed prioritize the digging of wells, building the military barracks so that people will no longer have to sleep in tents as well as a simple recreational area to relieve everyone’s boredom and hosickness. The people were supposed to vote for the creation of a waterway that will lead the water automatically from the river straight to the reservoir but I told them that I have finished building it earlier without anyone noticing.

Andreas’ eyes widened in disbelief as he was the person that was with the whole ti and even he did not notice anything unusual with my actions. He stared at while I simply smiled at him and gave him a playful wink in response.

All this ti, I was trying my best to focus on the lively discussions between the managers of the camp but I can’t help but get distracted by a lingering stare from one side of the table. If glares can bore holes on people, I will surely have a huge gaping hole right on my face.

From the ti I entered this tent to join the eting, the other general started staring at as if he could see my face through the veil that I was wearing. It seems that he not only rembered from our brief eting before but he also definitely looked like soone who had a lot of grievances towards . Why can’t he just pretend that this is our first and official eting.

I did my best for our eyes not to et even once but I can see an obviously evil smirk starting to show on that handso face of his the more I ignored him. The two aides who were standing right behind him are starting to look nervous and pale from how their general is acting.

As from whom the glares were coming from, it was from no other than General Caius Astrantia. How can the world be this small all of a sudden? Why would that sword dancer from the entertainnt district be here of all places and hold the rank of a military general at that?!

I kept my face emotionless as I pretended to be oblivious to the glares he is sending my way. Since I have already decided to pretend that this is the first ti we t, I just have to do so till the end. What can he do to in front of this many people anyways?

As the eting ended, I whispered sothing to Andreas then quickly excused myself so I can leave and get so rest inside my wagon. I do not have any intention to live inside the tent that the camp has. prepared for as their temporary military doctor. I politely declined their offer to move there and told them that I brought my house with inside the wagon which is not a lie if you think about it. Everybody laughed at my reason except General Astrantia who looked indifferent to everything.

I quickly left the tent and as I did I saw a change in the facial expression of General Astrantia in my peripheral vision. As I stepped out, I saw him move quickly towards my direction so I did a quick teleport to the back of my wagon. I even saw him running to catch up to just as I stepped inside my wagon. I guess he still hates being ignored and still has the hobby of running after people.
