His eyes slowly widened as he realized that we are inside the bath tub all wet and clinging to each other.
I saw him breathe in deeply as if preparing to scream so I grabbed the back of his head and kissed his lips instead. And as expected, a muffled scream escaped his lips as my lips sealed his. He barely fought back for a second or two before he kissed back and clung even tighter to my clothes.
He slled and tasted so sweet, I kind of lost my ability to think for a bit as well. The kiss lasted for more than a minute before I forced my lips apart from his. When our lips parted, Lir slowly opened his eyes and looked at with eyes filled with arousal.
To avoid things from escalating further, I broke the mont by looking at him with a blank expression on my face and saying, "You can continue with your bath. The kiss is paynt for taking advantage of while I was asleep."
I hurriedly left the bath tub, walked big steps to get outside the bathroom and closed the door behind . Once I was outside, I started gasping for air as I actually stopped myself from breathing inside the bathroom lest I will lose control again.

The breakfast might look very plain but I plan to supplent it with prepared food I have in my storage anyways so we will just be fine.
After about half an hour, I returned to the inn with all the breakfast that I bought. I walked inside as usual, placing all the food on the table. I called for Lir but he is nowhere inside the room. I knocked on the bathroom door but there was also no answer.
I can feel his presence inside the bathroom but I do not understand why he isn’t responding so after knocking I opened the bathroom door. As I peeked inside, I saw Lir still soaked in the tub filled with cold water, the sa way I left him earlier. He was staring blankly on the wall as if he lost his mind.
I got worried and hurriedly fetched him out of the tub. I used magic to dry him and his clothes up then brought him out of the bathroom. I wanted to scold him but I am also currently pitying his plight so I am stuck between worrying and getting angry that it is starting to make my head hurt.
I sat him carefully on the one of the chairs next to the dining table and then I pulled my chair so I can sit next to him. I looked at his face and then asked, "Lir, are you okay? Are you hurt? Can you explain to what happened last night?"
As if hearing a thunderclap, his shoulders jumped in surprise upon hearing his own na being called. He hurriedly looked at then the surroundings for a bit before his eyes went back to looking at . I patiently waited for him to get his bearing back and for the answers to my questions.
After what seems to be the longest minute in his life, Lir finally talked with a hoarse and shaky voice while looking down at his own hands. He started explaining, "I really don’t know what happened last night. The last thing bit and pieces that I rembered was waking up in the middle of the night feeling extrely thirsty. I breathed in deeply once but then I got bombarded by a very enticing and addictive scent. My body instinctually followed the place where it ca from. I don’t know if I fell asleep again or I passed out but I think my sight blurred or darkened. The next bits of mories are in patches as if I was waking up and losing consciousness repeatedly."
I stared at him, trying to digest the details that he provided and pondering on how similar and at the sa ti different were "heats" for different mystique races. After so ti, I broke my silence and said just one sentence to Lir. I looked at him with all seriousness and said, "I think my presence triggered your heat for so reason."
