Once Marius has sat back down, I finally looked at him and asked a direct question. I simply asked why he was treating the two new guys like that when it was my decision to teleport them inside the sanctuary in advance. His eyes widened as he heard my question since I bet he must have thought that I will take his side.
Before he could even reply, I told him off directly, "If you have questions or complaints about anything that is happening in the sanctuary, direct it all to . Being bratty and glaring at others is just plain childish. Inviting Levi and his people here and teleporting these two with their respective groups to Marahuyo ahead of everybody else are both my decisions. Shouldn’t it be plain, simple and fair to ask about it instead of waging a silent war?"
Marius scoffed and looked away but he did ask his questions. Perhaps, he even has too many questions compared to what I expected him to have. The the of the whole barrage was of course ca from his jealousy of course.
With a forcibly cald voice he directed a barrage at , "You said I should ask you right? Sure, I will gladly do that." He paused for a bit and then looked at the two other n in the room then back at .
He made a deep breath to forcibly calm himself again and then he started asking, "Make sure to answer each one of them then. Why did you bring this man (he pointed at Levi) here when he is not on the list? Why does this man’s (he pointed at Lir) body sll like you? And though you thought I would not notice, you teleported them ahead of everybody to delay our eting, right?"
I chuckled at the three questions then made a brief look at Lir and Levi giving them a playful wink each. I looked at the Marius again and I did answer his barrage of questions directly and honestly.
I smiled at Marius and replied with brutal honesty, even when the two n involved are in the room. Marius also smiled for so reason as if he was feeling confident that I would deny my involvent with the two and clear my relationship with him instead.
I started speaking, making sure that every word is clear as I said, "As for Levi, he offered a lot of money and a business partnership in exchange for being brought out of Ceryneia safely. I saw that he is indeed a talented businessman and I plan to let him do business in Sohmiren."
I paused for a bit as I saw Marius send a smug look and a smirk towards Levi’s way. Levi simply looked at him with one raised eyebrow and a blank face.
His countenance froze though as I added, "He has told that he is interest in being my husband and he is willing to give all his wealth if that happens. I must say I was very tempted since who doesn’t want a wealthy, smart and handso husband, you know?"
Before he could recover from my blunt answer about Levi, I continued, "As for Lir, he did not lie when he told you that he was with before he teleported. As to why he slls like , we did share the sa room when I was staying in an inn inside Cobalt City."
This ti both Levi and Marius looked at both and Lir with mouths agape. Levi stutteredly asked, "You- him- sa room- Why? You can pay for separate rooms-"
I smiled and responded, "To answer that question, he said he is fine with sharing a room with . Surely, I can afford two rooms but for his safety, I had to stay with him. I triggered his heat for so reason. And before your minds wander further, NO, I did not touch him.... Not yet..."
Marius this ti asked with gritted teeth, "What do you an by "triggered his heat"? What does that "not yet" at the end of your answer even an? You want to do him, huh?"
I ignored the follow up questions and continued to answer the last one from the earlier batch, "To answer the previous question, I teleported them in advance for their safety. These two have people spying on them all the ti as if soone is making sure that they won’t be able to leave Ceryneia even if they wanted to. As to your accusation that I wanted to delay your eting, does it matter if you et now, later or the next day? You will all live in the sa sanctuary anyway and will be seeing each other almost everyday from now on."
Marius laughed sarcastically as if he was trying to let out his anger. He looked at like I was saying nonsense.
I continued, "As for triggering his heat, I an it as it is. We kind of ended up kissing then it happened. As for "not yet" and doing him, why not? He seems to be willing. The only reason why I haven’t touched him is because he looked too weak. I need to plump him up a bit first."
Lir answered with a chuckle, "Noted! I will eat well from now on so you can also eat too afterwards."
Levi then with an innocent face pointed at himself and asked, "Are you going to do too?"
I looked at each of them then couldn’t help but laugh loudly. As for Marius, why do I feel like he got a taste of his own dicine. I rember him being bratty and feisty towards my pregnant husbands before too.
I then heard a sad murmur from Marius, "What about ? What am I to you amidst all these things and these n?"
I stopped laughing and looked at him seriously then answered, "I think you three are on the sa situation right now. We can all agree that you want to be with but I technically have not accepted any of you yet. There is no point of acting angry and jealous since at the end of the day, none of you have the "husband" title anyways"
Levi and Lir nodded in agreent but there was a scary fire in their eyes that sent shivers down my spine. I think this rivalry has just gotten even more intense with what I just said though I did not intend for it to co that way.
With us having talked about the issues, well, Marius’ issues to be exact, we went to the next topic at hand. I told them that Lir and his family will be moving in one of the villas near mine. Marius eyes widened in surprise and this ti, he did not take too much ti to think and just blurted out that he wanted to live in one of the villas too. I agreed readily since there are eight villas anyways so there is ample space for everyone.
Levi raised his hand gradually so I looked at him in confusion. He shyly asked if he can also move to one of the villas as well together with his close aides. I readily agreed as well.
Now that I think about it, these villa has always symbolized the status of n within the sanctuary. If you are allowed to live in one of the villas, it simply ans that the owner of the sanctuary which was has already started considering you as a potential husband.
To be fair, I guess I will have to bring in the others that have expressed their interest in being with from the other beast n tribes. I don’t want them to think that I am having so sort of favoritism towards the rfolks.
I did not say anything about my thoughts with the trio in front of who were currently pre-occupied with their happiness of living in one of the villa near . I stood up and told them that I will teleport them back to the plaza so they can tell their people about the house that has been assigned to them. The trio nodded their heads and then I imdiately sent them on their rry ways.
As for , I teleported straight to the eting hall then called on to the elders, representatives from each of the beast n tribes present in the sanctuary. I have told them about the earlier decision I have made after giving permission to the three rfolk n to live in the villas that were previously occupied by my husbands.
The elders were surprised and happy to hear that I finally considered officially accepting the wishes of so of the beast n that expressed their decision to offer themselves to . I told them that I would like to call for another eting with these n to check if they have not changed their minds since the last ti we had conversations.
Once I have the final number of people who still wanted to try their luck on being with , I will simply let them decide amongst themselves as to who would live with each other. I can allot a few of the five remaining villas to them and their families. I believe that there should be enough space to shelter all of them.
