With my arrangents with Lark already confird, preparation had to be made the soonest. I started my preparation by sending telepathic ssages to my parents about the next marriage ritual and that little room with a red door within in the next two weeks. I also contacted my father-in-law (Kayden’ father) if it is possible for him to co back to Moonlight Block since I need a manager for the two blocks as I will be taking Lark away for a few days for our honeymoon.
I can say that I am just lucky since my family mbers cooperate with and are willing to move things around to help work on my tasks. They did it for willingly no matter how tight the ti needed is between the preparation and the exact date the said event would happen.
With my parents and my in-laws helping out, everything just falls into place each ti. I cannot be any more thankful for the family I have in this life.
After my little tryst with Lark last ti in the Starlight block, I had to go back to my acade villa afterwards. Just like routine, I had to do a quick wash since I do not want to sll like lovemaking before eting with Void. I doubt though that he would not sense it. He senses anything that deals with essences and lustful thoughts or desires. His senses beca even more keen after he got pregnant.
When I got inside the room, he just looked at with a lot of thoughts in his eyes but he did not ask anything. He just snuggled in my arms and slept soundly afterwards. I guess he also knew that it is not worth his energy to talk about who I was with. We have a few left to spend night sleeping in the sa room since the first month of his sensitive pregnancy that required us to stay together will soon be over.
Before I knew it, the barely two weeks left for the current term ended and the term break is about to start. Just like what I have previously arranged, I can finally bring Void over to live in Tadhana inside his personally decorated ho since his pregnancy has stabilized. After that, I brought my father-in-law back in the Moonlight Block to manage it then brought away Lark with to the Eieneos palace.
When we arrived at the Eieneos Palace, Lark and I were welcod by my parents, Ioannis, Kayden, Dimitri and the whole bunch of children. I was happy to see them while Lark looked at them with a mix of surprise, happiness, longing and envy.
I was confused of his reaction at first but then that is when that mory of a previous conversation we had hit . I just rembered that Lark grew up with only his father but the man died when he was still young. His mother never wanted anything to do with his father and Lark so his father went back to his parents and hid his son’s existence.
After his father died, his grandparents took care of him. Sadly, they died of sickness and old age, one after the other, just before Lark ca of age. Without any protection from his father’s side of the family, his mother easily found him and the first thing she did is to sell him to a slaver in the entertainnt district in Hoffen City. This is to get herself so money and also to get rid of a male child that she did not want.
In a sense, Lark is my only human husband who does not have any family mbers left (his mother was never part of his family). If I think of it this way, I think I finally understood why he looked at the others with envy.
I have my parents. Ioannis also have his parents, a younger sister and now he also has children of his own. It is the sa with Kayden, having a father and also children with . Dimitri may not have his parents but his grandparents are still around.
Lark looked at with eyes that looked like he has made up his mind about sothing. I smiled at him and introduced him to my parents first. Laerad arrived just as this was happening so I introduced them to each other too. Lark looked shocked at Laerad’s identity which is to be expected.
After the et and greet with everybody (with the exception of my four fiancés who are busy roaming the human realm on a mission), we proceeded with the binding ritual next as per Lark’s request inside the room of beginnings. It was as if he was scared that I will change my mind and not go through with it if he waited any longer.
The ritual was quick and just as usual, it was surprises after surprises for Lark since I also explained to him what the room of beginnings function was. He also asked curiously about the glowing orbs so I also told him the truth about them being my children with mystiques.
Out of all the husbands that I told about this (well there are only three others being Ioannis, Kayden and Dimitri), he is the one who looked the least surprised. I guess he knew for a fact that I would be having more children with others whether he liked the idea or not.
After that, I gave my parents so alone ti with Lark since he needed to be briefed about how life is in Eieneos and so rules we follow in this palace. As for , I spent ti with my three other husbands and the children.
I was surprised that the three husbands are now very cordial with each other. They usually spend their ti having snacks and refreshnts while the two older set of twins are taking care of and playing with the younger ones. The three of them even ca to an agreent to redecorate and expand the previous play room by combining two adjacent rooms to accommodate the growing number of babies in the palace.
I played with the children with whatever gas they thought was fun in their little heads. I kept the younger sets of twins near . So of them on my lap or just laying on the mat while the two older twins have started walking and running around while making things float and fly around the room like the little mages they are. The commotion is making the other 2 sets of younger twins smile and laugh.
After about half an hour, my parents arrived in the play room together with Lark that looked more at ease this ti. My father started pulling out of the play room holding my hand while my mother stayed inside and took my place on the mat to play with the children. She gave a knowing smile while I was being dragged away.
As for and my father, on our way to exiting the room, he also grabbed Lark’s wrists so we can all go to where he is taking us. He started dragging us to the direction of the little room with the red door. My father even kicked the door open, pushed the both of us in (like shoving things in a luggage) and slamd the door shut officially starting the one week long honeymoon duration.
Lark looked at in confusion while I got over the surprise of how quick everything happened. I imdiately started laughing out loud about what my father just did to us.
I still rember the telepathic ssage my father sent before he threw and Lark inside the room. It made feel helpless but at the sa ti happy that he was supportive of being with my new husband.
As to what my father said before, this was the verbatim: "Hurry up and give my poor son-in-law so love and his own babies. He has been alone all this ti so make sure to make him the happiest man from here onwards. And... I want more grandchildren so start working!"
I never thought that I will end up having a job where I just marry and have more children. I never thought of it as a job honestly. but I guess that is another way to look at what I was doing in this world.
Lark and I ended up looking at each other. I smirked at him then his shoulders jumped as if he was a startled rabbit. I took one step and he quickly started running to the bathroom and slamd the door shut.
I ended up laughing out loud again but instead of following him towards the bathroom. I checked on the kitchen to prepare so snacks, refreshnts and ready-to-eat als since this is going to be a long week. I also tidied up the bed and changed to my ho clothes, particularly for sleeping.
I started hearing water running in the bathroom so I guess he decided to shower and changed clothes there. I sat on the bed and waited patiently for Lark to get out. He really took his ti and he was still showering even at the 30-minute mark from the ti he went inside the bathroom.
I smirked and stood up from the bed. I sat on the chair near the dining area and hid my presence once again. A few minutes after I hid myself, the bathroom door slowly opened. Instead of seeing a dressed up Lark, I saw one that he only has a towel wrapped around his waist with his hair dripping a bit from the shower.
He looked around and when he realized that I am not anywhere in the room, he stomped his right foot like a child on a tantrum and he got that scowl on his face again. His action made his towel drop, showing his body will all its naked glory.
My mind, as if a switch turned on, had another thought as it said, "Thank you for the al."
