After so light conversation with Lucien about his developnt, Lucien beca a lot more impressed with Theo.
He stated things like how he desired to have worked from this age too. Theo only chuckled at that comnt.
In the end, when it was ti to leave, Theo finally asked the question.
"Elder brother, what is this urgent family dinner today about? I heard Elder sister Isolde brought sothing back?" Theo asked in curiosity.
Lucien looked at Theo with a proud grin this ti, though Theo knew it was not directed toward him.
"Oh, Isolde sure brought sothing unique this ti," Lucien said while caressing his chin.
"What is it?"
"I can't break the surprise, you will have to wait till she shows it."
"Shows it… Hmm… So a unique beast? Sounds exciting. Well, I will go to my room now, et you later, elder brother!" Theo spoke out his mind, making Lucien grin as if he was happy he caught onto it.
Before he knew it, Theo was out of his room. Elias went running after and closed the gate behind, leaving the attendant and Lucien alone.
"If young master Theo keeps growing like this, he may as well reach your level in a few years," Cassian spoke with a smirk.
Lucien laid his back on the chair and sat comfortably. There was a smile on his face.
"If he ever catches up to … then I wish we can go on adventures together. Sothing tells it will be wild and fun," Lucien spoke out his thoughts and stretched his body.
Cassian only shook his head with a smile. He already knew such an answer was going to co.
Theo was already back in his room, and finally, Elias caught him up on what information he had gathered. The genuine article resides on M|V|L&EMPYR.
Apparently, the noble house that complained against Rhys was called Velthorne.
They were a Barony a little far from the rrick Barony, so there weren't many occasions where they t with each other because of being under different Viscount families.
"So the falcon Sir Rhys killed was from a rising star rcenary group that was under the protection of Velthorne Barony? How the hell did we get in this situation?" Theo smacked his head in disappointnt.
Whenever he entered that forest, sothing or another always happened.
"And there are rumors that this rcenary group is being politically pushed too, young master."
"What does that an?" Theo asked. Whatever it was, it at least didn't sound good.
"They have been doing the dirty work of this Barony for so ti now. There are many cases like this where nobles use these kinds of tactics to get so work done without getting their nas tarnished," Elias explained and continued, "Sotis, everyone knows what is happening, but even then, nobody can do anything as there is not enough proof." He trailed off but ca back, "Politically pushed ans they have been included in etings associated with noble family which is unlike for commoners to be a part of."
Theo nodded, but sothing felt weird.
"Wait, but they have complained against Sir Knight. Surely that ans they are saying it's their own forces, right?"
Elias sighed, "That's what makes this situation a lot more complicated, young master. The group of tars that the Velthorne Barony is supporting is a rcenary group nad 'Talon Veil'," Elias spoke. "They are primarily a group of tars specializing in scouting missions, and their main type of beasts is apparently aerial."
When Elias was done talking, the first thing that ca to mind was bewildernt.
"How long were you gone for again?" Theo asked with a bewildered expression. Everything he said was vital information—sothing he hadn't expected to be given right away.
"I will write it all down for a clear understanding first," Theo said and sat at his study desk, a place filled with paper and books.
But before he could start writing, Elias kept an envelope on the table, making Theo look at him with confusion.
"I knew you would like to write it all down, young master. So I already wrote a whole report of all my findings. Please read and tell if you want to know more," Elias stated with a bow and stood beside him.
Theo was dumbstruck. He quickly opened the envelope and unfolded the sheet, and surely, it was a whole hand-written report of all the information gathered and more.
"This… Are you sure you want to be an attendant, Elias? Skills like this could get you in a research house."
"Hahahaha, you flatter , young master. When you get into the real world, you will find people with unimaginable levels of skills. I am nothing compared to that," Elias spoke, yet Theo could see a light smile on his face as if he liked the praise.
He left it at that and read the whole thing again to get an understanding. Till now, what they knew was that the ones that made the complaint were from a Barony nad Velthorne.
It had the sa level of power as the rricks on 'paper,' but there were only a few Baronies around that could really compare to the rrick Barony.
The ones that were affected—the group of tars he saw in the forest a day ago—was a renowned rcenary group that specialized in aerial surveillance.
'For a group like that to lose a falcon could an they faced a lot more damage than I thought… But it was their mistake so it doesn't matter…'
At the end of the report, there was a very provocative line that made Theo look at Elias.
"Are you completely sure about this, Elias?" Theo asked while pointing at the line. When Elias saw it, his smile beca wider, and a single word left his mouth, "Absolutely."
Theo looked at him with awe and then at the sheet of paper again.
***Intercepts or steals valuable beasts and beast eggs from rival Baronies before they can be secured.***
"So when they reached the level 7 boar in the forest with that cage… They ca to capture it, huh… But Elias, isn't that normal? All tars try to get their beasts like this, right?"
"Well, the Whispering Forest is very far from their territory, young master. If they ca all the way from there with a pinpointed location, it ans their surveillance is very good. And for a Barony to co inside so other Baron's exclusively allotted hunting space without permission is considered rude."
