The sight in front of Theo, Clara, and Elias was what made them all look at each other in awe.
There was a continuous crunching sound from the ants’ location, and on closer inspection, anybody could tell that the ants were chewing through the walls of the container.
Theo was bewildered by this developnt; they were supposed to work hard and climb up the container only to fall inside one by one, making the task a lot harder.
"Elias, if they can chew through this container, will it be possible...?"
"No, young master, the materials used to make the actual terrarium could even make a direwolf have a hard ti scratching through. This container is made from a lot cheaper material that I wouldn’t be surprised they will be able to chew through. That is a problem from my side, my apologies."
"Nobody could have expected ants half the size of my fingernail to chew through things, Elias," Theo spoke, and then looked at Clara.
"Clara, I know you’re good at things like this. Can you see what can be done?" Theo asked, making Clara’s eyes flash in excitent.
When they looked at the container again, Theo saw an ant that was almost halfway through the wall and stuck. The other ants just tried to cut open the ant for it to enter fully and then use the sa route.
The queen ant pressed her antennae gently over the ant with unknown intentions, but Theo could see that it was gentle.
In front of their very eyes, Theo saw the first ant that was stuck get inside the container fully, and then the ants, one by one, in a systematic way, entered it too.
With flabbergasted eyes, Theo couldn’t help but wonder how synchronous these guys were.
"Good news, young master. That’s only one hole." Clara spoke with a smile and went down only to pick the container up in her hands.
"There is a tal box in the carriage, it’s quite big, so I think this whole container can fit inside it easily. Shall we?" she stated with a confident tone, sothing Theo had heard from her after a long ti.
"Let’s go fast then," Theo spoke, and they all started running toward the carriage.
When Elias was frantically looking for the tal box, Warren got a glimpse of the container with a lot of ants in Clara’s hand.
Theo noticed a look of disgust on his face as if a shiver went down his spine, yet when he saw Theo looking, he quickly flipped his expression to excited.
Theo didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
When they found the tal box, Clara was right. The container with the ants went directly inside it, securing the capture of the ants successfully.
"That was great, Clara. You did a good job." Theo spoke after she closed off the container. There was still so worry as to if there was enough air for the ants to breathe inside it, but the ants were small enough and the area big enough that the air could just be sufficient.
"I am happy, young master. It’s been a long ti since I was of any use to you." Clara spoke with a warm smile.
When Theo heard that, he only shook his head in dismissal. There was a smile on his face too, "I did not get you into this party so you could be of any ’use’. I want you to be stronger, Clara, for your own safety." Theo spoke, but before Clara could say anything, he spoke again, "You will see how exciting everything will get when I complete this requirent. We will all enter the deeper part of the forest and fight together, as a team."
When Theo said that while looking at both Elias and Clara, there was a surprised look on both of their faces at first.
But soon, they could only smile and nod in approval. It was definitely tempting to fight as a team inside the deeper end of the forest.
"That’s not good, young master. You’re making even my heart tempted to start leveling up again."
The trio looked in front of the carriage where the voice ca from.
Warren was looking at them with a hand on his chin and a nostalgic look.
The stag in the front made so noise at the comnt, which made Theo feel like it could understand a lot too.
"You’re welco to join us when the ti cos, Warren. It will be fun." Theo said with a grin.
The idea of a level 7 stag that could just zap the beasts to death felt a lot better in his imagination.
Warren only nodded and moved back to the middle of the carriage’s front.
They all soon got inside the carriage and started traveling toward the castle.
After completing half the travel, Theo could hear so light screeching or cracking sounds, and it all ca from the box.
On one hand, he feared the ants cutting their way out of the tal box, but at the sa ti, he couldn’t help but want it to happen.
If the ants could even get out of the tal container, then it ant they were a lot stronger than he or anyone would have thought them to be.
Soon, when they reached the castle, Theo quickly placed the mantis inside a box too before they made their way toward the room.
Soon, they were finally in the terrarium room.
"Are you sure you want to be here, Clara?" Theo asked.
"It’s okay, young master. I wanted to look at them getting used to the new ho." Clara spoke, yet her enthusiasm betrayed her facial expression.
Theo held his laugh as much as he could and quickly faced the corner where the new ho for the ants was already built.
The tal box was in his hand, so Elias was the one who got the heavy lid off the new terrarium.
As planned, it was a transparent one where the area above the ground was very spacious and the area below the ground was only toward the center beneath the surface, with the thickness being only a few inches.
Without any wait, Theo opened the tal box and jerked it inside the opened lid, making a lot of small creatures fall inside the terrarium’s ground.
"Well, that went smooth."
