Theo opened his eyes to a good aroma. His nose twitched and his stomach grumbled.
His eyesight was a little blurry and it felt like he had just slept for ages but when he looked back, he saw both Clara and Elias still out of it.
’It’s the day now... I don’t know how long I slept for.’
Theo got up to the aroma and heard the voice of soone walking with heavy steps. There was a sound of sothing dragging too.
He looked in the direction and saw the baron coming toward them. He had sothing really big grabbed in his hands while he pulled with his shoulders too.
Theo focused and he didn’t even know what to say, there was sothing really big being dragged by the baron right now.
When he was close enough, the dead thing got stuck in between two trees.
The baron’s face showed annoyance and he pulled hard which made Theo feel the trees tremble and crack and at the sa ti, there were so bone popping sounds too.
When it was inside the camp, both Clara and Elias woke up too, all the beasts in their subspace got out at the sa ti with their guard up as if the command was already given.
Theo moved to the side only to see what creature it was.

The sheer size of that creature was what left Theo with his mouth agape.
It was not only a large beast but when Theo saw its hands or the claws covered in dried mud, he couldn’t help but feel like they were half the size of him.
"You all were sleeping after such a tiring day, you have fired up too! Look what I caught! BAHAHAHAH!" The baron roared in laughter making everyone just look at the creature.
"Attendant Clara, it would be great if you could skin this thing, little by little. How far are you in reaching level 7?" The baron asked while checking her and Elias’s status.
"Only 2100, my lord. Attendant Elias is close to too."
"Yes, my lord. If you could give us half a day more, we can complete it."
The baron had an amused expression. "Okay, I give you 5 hours to get to level 7, both attendants. Go complete it quick." The baron spoke in a good mood.
Theo didn’t care about anything else, his eyes were stuck on one thing on the behemoth’s body.
"Mantis! When did you get to this beast, you glutton. It’s father’s so you can’t eat it." Theo spoke, thinking the mantis was already trying to hog the food.
"Hahahahaha, don’t say anything, Theo. This bug is a lot more capable than I thought! Especially those dots it sent out, the behemoth was unconscious for a few seconds because of it!" The baron shouted making Theo connect the dots.
"You..." Theo asked, "It went with you?"
"Yes it did! You were sleeping and it was just eating after waking up so I just asked it to go with . Its intelligence is a lot better for a bug, my son. It understood all the things I told it." The baron spoke without stopping.
"But you gotta train it properly, it showed quite a lot of aggression when I beheaded this behemoth." The baron added.
"What did it do?" Theo spoke while looking at the mantis.
The mantis quickly moved into its fighting stance making the baron keep the part of the behemoth’s body down and point.
"That is it! I could not understand what it was doing but I went ahead and found out. You have made it strong but not tad yet." The baron spoke.
"...." Theo was at a loss for words. He checked the system notifications that he had missed quickly and quickly found out.

’I need 45,000 EXP to reach level 8 and this glutton just got 1100 and itself 1700 like it was nothing...’ Theo thought. ’Maybe this is what a person my level should be doing... I have been targeting weak beasts all this while but not a single one like this.’
"Father... where did you find this beast?" Theo asked while trying to push the behemoth too only to find out it wouldn’t budge even a little.
"Hmm... it was quite far, I had to hyper jump a few tis to get there." The baron spoke and at that na, suddenly the mantis started sending emotions of excitent as if it was a fan.
"... What’s hyper jump?"
"How do you not know hyper jump?" The baron asked with a frown but walked a few steps ahead to show it.
"It’s this. If you haven’t seen or known about it before, get prepared to be surprised!"
BOOM!
The baron bent his knees and with full force, he jumped up with a speed Theo could only see as a blur. So much dust flew everywhere and the trees rustled.
Theo saw the camp completely wiped away and the makeshift smoker break and slide aside.
Theo looked up, his eyes stuck at one spot for over a minute.
There was a small silhouette hanging from the ceiling of the underground.
It seed the baron had jumped high enough to reach the upper ground without climbing.
Theo felt jitters all around his body, a grin crept over his face which made the mantis look at him with unknown emotions.
"... I so want to do this." Theo spoke with an excited voice, his eyes stuck on one spot at the top.
