"I could feel so many uses for this skill at that point. It felt like my mind beca sharper for so ti after things stabilized, but still, the way my mind started hurting didn’t feel okay at first," Theo spoke.
"Anyways, I should get up now. I sll bad too. It’s been a while since we bathed."
"Oh, good timing! I just found a small river down the west side. You can bathe there," the baron spoke with a grin, making Theo surprised.
"A river in this gate? Is the water okay?" Theo asked, making the baron show a hand sign of just trust .
"I already checked it with the tool. The water is good. Both Clara and Elias have gone to take a bath too. too."
Theo was curious to know if Clara and Elias went at the sa ti, but refrained, as it felt like the baron wouldn’t take it well if he was thinking that way. But at the end of the day, there was nothing knowing the baron.
He could be ecstatic for all he cared.
"I will go take a bath too. Mantis, fight!" Theo spoke in a cheer, which made the mantis move its forelegs up in instinct, even though it still felt like it was sleeping.
Both Theo and the baron looked at each other and started laughing, making both Clara and Elias co back too.
Clara downright went and hugged Theo, making him fear that the baron wouldn’t take an attendant hugging his heir.
But surprisingly enough, he just smiled with a sigh.
It took a while to calm Clara down, but Theo couldn’t help but be scolded many, many tis.
Soon, he started walking and first made his way to the ant colony.
Aside from the big hole on the ground, not a single ant was up there, which felt very weird.
’Ant queen, can you show the progress inside the colony?’ Theo asked, making the ant queen show a bunch of video-like images in his mind.
Theo looked at all the different chambers that had already been made, but more than that, the organization was on another level too.
There was the previous brood in one big room, and Theo was always very astonished by the sheer number of them.
The next had all the at and other consumable stuff the colony seed to be storing as ration food.
Then there was the next big chamber that had that big tree root coming into it.
The ants were farming the smaller white insects that were now in a lot more numbers.
Theo tried to check their status but couldn’t, as he was not seeing these in front of him.
Then the perspective changed to that of the ant queen’s vision again, and it started moving backward before Theo saw so more of the brood at the side that were just birthed.
His eyes flashed in excitent when he saw the color of the brood, which was brown now. There were black spots everywhere on the brood, and Theo couldn’t help but want to know what was there in the brood.
’Whatever ant species cos out of those broods will be one of their kind. I don’t think there has ever been any like this in history.’
And then the perspective changed to the constructing chambers, and Theo could see a giant eight-legged beast using its big legs to dig through the chamber with the help of the ants.
’The spider is inside?’ Theo thought in curiosity, but the ant queen answered that too with a nod in seriousness.
Theo looked around a bit more and wanted to know where they were killing the crawlers, but he felt dirtier by the minute, so he went to the west side looking for the river.
The baron surprisingly told him that his aura now went as far as the river to increase their territory, making Theo feel sad that the war zone was now peaceful.
He went to the river, which looked as normal as it could get.
There was moss everywhere around the ground, and a tree also seed to have its roots subrged in the river.
Its currents were from left to right.
Theo checked if there were any creatures in the water and smiled when it was all peaceful.
He dipped inside it after removing his clothes, and when the fresh cold water hit his body, it felt like he had reached nirvana.
Bathing after a long ti was a very great experience.
Soon, when he was done, he looked around the river to see what it had to offer.
’Can I drink this water?’ Theo thought to himself, only to reject it right away. Even boiling this water a lot wouldn’t make him sure enough that it was safe to drink.
Except when the water they had was already over, which seed impossible for months, as there were about a thousand big leather sacks worth of water with the baron.
When Theo was getting back, he saw a silhouette up in the air by the camp, only to see it was Clara.
He ran back to the camp, and that was when he saw Clara’s silhouette already on the ground with a relieved smile.
But the weird part seed to be sothing else.
He went and approached her, making her happy that he ca back safe.
"Clara, how did you land without father’s help?" He asked in curiosity.
"Oh, I just have good muscle strength around my knees, according to my lord, young master. He said I could go as far up as that tree’s height and be okay to land."
Theo felt like he had just heard sothing ridiculous. He looked right at her legs, especially the legs and the thighs, while thinking with a hmm.
After just a few seconds, he saw Clara’s expression showing that she felt awkward that he kept looking down, which made him stop. It seed he had beco a lot more comfortable with her to not care about these things.
