Theo agreed to the stat allocation and left the room as Lucien advised him to do it after a good night's sleep. On the way back, Clara couldn't stop praising Lucien's guidance. According to her, everything he said was clear, logical, and aligned with her own thoughts. Her positivity only reinforced Theo's confidence in the decisions they'd made.

Theo felt even better about the decision. He had the pieces of paper in his hands, and when he reached back to his room, the usual training took place.

After a good night's sleep, Theo finally allotted all the points as decided.

When he increased each point in the system, he only felt a weird sensation in his body and nothing more. Even that weird sensation felt like a made-up thing in his mind.

When all the points were allotted, Theo stood there silently for a minute, and when he felt nothing, he just went on to allot the points for the mantis.

He decided to look at it with focus while the points were being allotted, but the mantis only made its usual face. There wasn't much on its face that could help it express its emotions anyway.

After a little breakfast, finally, Bram ca to him to train properly, unknowing the fact that Lucien was the one that was going to train them.

When they reached the training area, Lucien too was surprised to see Bram, yet he found it as a good opportunity for training the younglings of the Barony.

The training was not that tough. There was a lot of stretching to make the body flexible first and a lot of running.

It was not like what Theo had thought would happen.

He even talked about how his stat increase didn't show a lot of difference, and Lucien's answer was the sa as before. The stat increases were limit breakers and nothing else.

By the end of the training, Bram was already done for, while Theo still had a lot of energy left.

The day ended successfully, and so did the other.

By the second day, the partial evolution of the mantis was finally completed.

There was just a single ssage for the completion of the evolution, and it didn't state how big the mantis had gotten.

But Theo could see it on his own. In these 10 days of eating the ores, the mantis had now beco the sa size as his hand.

Yet there was still so confusion. As he was seeing the mantis almost all of the day, he didn't seem to know whether it had truly beco bigger or not.

Yet Bram's notice of it becoming as big as Theo's hand was the final nail in the coffin.

The mantis was bigger.

All of Theo's days either passed by training himself or his beast. Clara was reluctant, seeing a child being so serious so early in life, she tried to force him out of it, yet there was no stopping Theo.

The goal of reaching the gate was etched into Theo's mind and didn't seem to let go. Even he knew how unrealistic it was, but trying and achieving anything was better than just sitting idle.

When before, his journey was pathless, and Theo focused on things that he thought would be better for him. But now? He had a proper ntor who fixed each and every mistake he did, even if they were the most unnoticeable ones.

Lucien was also still in his learning space, so he only taught Theo what he had mastered or was really good at.

10 days passed with such training, and Theo did his best to improve himself. All this ti, they went to the forest only a few tis.

At first, the whole focus was on Theo's body training. Yet with that increased stamina, Theo was able to take most of the things thrown toward him.

After the body training was stabilized, they started training the synergy between him and the mantis.

The mantis's Spore Lash skill was already at level 1. It only took Theo 10 days of doing it in limited amounts, as even Lucien was unsure of having so many paralytic spores in one place, even if it was an open space.

While Theo was doing his best, the mantis was no less. Its speed had increased a lot more according to Lucien and Clara. But all Theo saw was a blur, just like always.

Theo also helped the mantis learn new tricks. One of them was to use the tallic Strike skill not only on the beasts but also to move fast along a way.

When they tested it on a viper, Theo was astonished by his own technique. While the viper was the usual nace that tried to bite and snap at the mantis anyti it was close enough,

Theo made the mantis move with its tallic Strike first toward the left of the viper. Its speed had beco faster than what the viper could see with its naked eyes.

When the viper tried finding the mantis near it, the mantis had already hid itself with the perfect camouflage and moved so slow that nothing around moved, not even a little.

In the end, the mantis was able to surprise attack the viper, cutting its body in half as if it was nothing.

At that day, Theo truly felt proud with their developnt. Now there were two types of creatures that didn't bear any danger toward the mantis at the sa level or a little above.

Theo craved to go do sothing even bigger, yet Lucien refrained him from doing so, saying that it was still not ready.

Only after the 5th day of the 10 days did the training increase in intensity. By the end of the day, Theo didn't even have the ability to eat on his own. The only thing that helped him work better in the morning was by consuming potions that Lucien had recomnded.

With less ti in hand, there was bound to be so unusual actions. Theo was okay with consuming such potions of replenishnt, yet Clara was not on board with it.

While Clara was very proud of how Theo was developing in such short notice, she was concerned about his well-being too.

At only the 4th day, even Bram had decided to only pursue the most basic regints of the training conducted by Lucien, but Theo did everything he was told.

Bram did less but still did it due to the inspiration Theo had instilled in him.

And finally, on the day that his mother ca back and heard all the news and rumors, Theo was rebuked a lot by her, to the point that he was refrained from doing any training for a day.

Theo felt frustrated by this decision, but when he took that day's break, his body finally got the rest it had been craving after so many grueling days that felt like months.

Even Lucien was scolded by the Baroness and was given a lot of the Barony's paperwork as punishnt.

After that day of ample rest, Theo convinced his mother and told her his goals about making it inside the gate, which she found impossible. There were only a few in history who were given a passage inside the gate at such a tender age.

Yet Theo was so determined for this cause that she had to reluctantly agree to these 3 months of grueso training.

The body training and the synergy between him and the mantis were not the only things Theo was made to focus on.

Even Lucien was reluctant to show him the truth at such a small age, but being inside the gate not only ant dangers from the unknowns and the beasts, it was also their own people, the humans.

Theo understood that concept very quickly, as obviously, his age was not what it seed.

His combat drills for the basics started with Bram, who did his best to keep up. Yet Theo's passion toward pursuing his goals led him to work harder and harder, making it impossible to train with the little boy anymore at the sa footing.

Lucien himself had to take the combat drills in his hands, which was a good thing, as Theo wouldn't be finding people his own size anywhere. He had to learn how to deal with humans older than him.

At so point, Theo had already beco a spectacle among the residents and workers of the Barony.

Many maids, guards, and even knights of the Barony ca in their breaks to look at Theo's training sessions.

So were filled with motivation to see such a youngling work so hard. In their minds, the only reason Theo was doing this was because of the disadvantage of being a unique ability holder, unknowing the main truth.

Yet many were envious, seeing such a kid getting better day after day. While it was taxing on the mind and the body, what Theo was taking part in felt like an opportunity to others that they never got or will.

The twins only called him and Bram dumb, while the older ones just cheered on from the sidelines. Many others in the heirs just didn't care.

It was only the Baroness that saw how much Theo was working hard, giving 10 hours of his day every day to everything he could get to learn. Her heart couldn't have been more prouder.

Just like that, the whole month passed, and Theo was almost an entirely new person when it ca to skills.
