In the month that had passed, another person was taken into confidence about how Theo had tad an insect.
It was his carriage driver, with a penalty of being eliminated if he spilled the beans, the man was finally in on the secret and Theo didn't have to hide anything even at the ti of leveling up.
Theo only pointed at the side of the big carcass of the viper, near the wound, there was a greenish attachnt and that was when the man chuckled.
"Don't make fun of my young master's ta, Warren." Clara spoke, with her usual cold behavior toward anyone other than the rrick family.
Warren just raised his hands in a playful manner, "Forgive this old man,"
Theo only shook his head, it was the usual banter he saw almost every day when he needed to go to the forest.
"Oh?~ So you finally admit to being an ol-"
"That's enough," Theo interrupted Clara which made her grow silent instantly.
"Warren, does your beast eat at?" Theo asked while looking at Warren who gave an amused look.
"I don't know about digesting it, but the big man likes to eat at, young master. Ain't that right?" Warren stated and smacked his hand on the stag's side making him look at him.
Theo could literally see a beast judging a human, and he almost laughed out loud.
"Let it free, they can eat as much as they want from this viper." Theo stated while looking at both Clara and Warren.
Clara just gave a simple ntal command making the pup almost bark in happiness even though it was a wolf, it was strange to hear.
Yet the boar maturely just moved from Theo's side and moved to the middle of the viper's body.
It dug its tusks hard one ti before the skin all tore off and it started eating too.
Warren just shrugged and opened the buckle on the stag's body. It took a few steps forward, stretched its big body and slowly moved toward the viper's body.
Theo was very curious to see a beast that totally looked like a herbivore eat at such as this.
The stag moved its face down slowly and moved its lips in a weird way on the scaly skin as if taking a feel. Theo saw it touch the skin of the dead viper with its long teeth.
It was the first ti he saw the long and broad teeth of the stag, just like a horse's.
Suddenly, the scales of the viper's skin fell off with a little scrape of the teeth.
Theo was surprised, its teeth were this strong?
"How did you level up this beast to level 7, Warren?"
Now that they were making the beasts have a feast, Theo had ti to pass.
"It was the toughest thing of my life, young master. And it took 10 years to do it," Warren spoke with an urge to spit, it felt like he didn't like what he was saying.
"10 years?"
"Yeah, I started really late in life, at the age of 20, when I was finally able to afford a good windmane stag fawn. I did a lot of hard work for approval, reached level 7 and realized, there is no end to such things. So I decided to settle down and get a job instead. So I have been graced with this carriage driver position by the Baron since 5 years."
The more Warren spoke, the more his happiness increased, it seed he liked the decision of settling down.
Theo nodded and looked in the front and thought about it too, there were so many people that tried becoming stronger just like him at the mont, yet there were also a lot of people that wanted nothing to do with it.
Even though completing breakthroughs led to imnse strength and lifespan increase, Theo found many that didn't care about it.
And he respected their decisions. Instead of fighting and training 10 hours like him just to beco stronger, so people lived the 80 years they had on the planet living each minute.
There were things to learn from that, but deep down, the craving of becoming stronger and to evolve the mantis didn't go away for Theo. For him, this new world was a chance to live to his best.
While all the beasts ate for more than 30 minutes, only the bones and the outer skin was left at many sides of the snake.
The mantis couldn't be seen anymore as it was inside the skin eating everything that ca in its way.
In those 30 minute duration, the pup had eaten so much that it was now sitting near Clara's legs yawning in satisfaction.
And the boar just ate very slowly, it took a single bite and went on to eat it for a while before taking another one.
The stag only took small pieces of at and ate in even longer durations.
In about another 20 minutes, all the beasts left the viper alone after getting full. There was all but one.
Warren and Clara looked at Theo with multiple emotions, Theo chuckled awkwardly.
He moved toward the viper's more than half eaten body and pulled up the skin.
"What...?" Warren got up in surprise and Clara looked shocked.
While all the places where the beasts had eaten were all bloodied and bones were everywhere.
There was only one where literally nothing was left other than the outer skin, it was so clean that even Theo was dumbfounded.
The mantis who had not left even a slight stain of blood on the places it had gone by, not even the bones survived and it made sense, the mantis was able to eat military grade ores.
"Wow, look at the vigor, young master." Warren spoke again while scratching his chin.
The mantis was still eating as if its life was depending on it. Theo could tell it had eaten anything around four kilos of at and bones combined by now.
Even the other beasts around looked with curiosity.
Theo was going to call back the mantis now, it really was a glutton that had an unending stomach to put food in.
Yet he saw the mantis stop abruptly and twitch unnaturally, Theo panicked a little and was going to grab the body of the mantis out of the carcass yet a notification sound ca.

Theo himself froze while his back was hunched. Evolution detection was the one thing he hadn't expected all this while.
Even though they had just fought off a creature as strong as this one.
The mantis moved its face toward Theo, its face as expressionless as always yet Theo had a feeling that it knew what had just transpired.
Warren looked at Clara who was confused too yet she kept a hand on her lips as if telling him not to speak.
Theo quickly opened the mantis's status and it was all there. His gaze was moving so slowly to not let any detail go unnoticed.

The evolution interface this ti was so long that it took Theo a few minutes to read everything once before he went on to read everything one more ti.
His eyes were widened in shock and even Warren could tell now that it was sothing to do with the system.
Clara frowned, even though many knew about the insect, they still didn't know how Theo made things change completely.
The mantis not eating also gave it away that sothing big had happened.
"... Young master?" Clara spoke out loud.
"Hm? Oh... yes?" Theo spoke without even taking his eyes off it.
'Bloodbloom mantis...' Theo felt a shiver in his spine when he read that na.
"Young master, we should go now." Clara spoke again and Theo this ti looked at her. It was then that he realized again that Warren was with them.
"... Alright, the feast is over. We will take the remaining carcass of this beast and show it to my mother and elder brother. We should be leaving now." Theo spoke with enthusiasm.
When Clara saw that face, her heart started beating faster. She knew that expression too well. It was Theo in his analysis mode.
"Oh... okay." Warren had sothing to say yet it didn't feel like it was his place. Theo nodded in approval, he knew what not to ask.
After the carcass was kept in the big storage space below the carriage, they all went back to the carriage.
It was ti to analyze the new evolution option.
