Gwen was being relentlessly pursued by the Death Warrior, her heart pounding with urgency!

She had no way to handle this hulking mass of tal. Not only was its strength absurd, but it could also emit highly destructive shockwaves from its palms!

And the gangsters on the street still weren't dealt with!

And what was that about "wearing him out"?!

Bang!

Another car was hurled toward Gwen. With her superhuman senses, she quickly realized that the Death Warrior wasn't just trying to hit her—the thrown car was rely to obscure her vision. The missile launchers on his body had opened again!

Boom!

Missiles fired in rapid succession, but Gwen noticed sothing odd. Compared to before, their accuracy had dropped significantly. Though they looked deadly, every explosion occurred at a safe distance, none truly threatening her.

One missile even passed through the flas and crashed into the ground, strangely ineffective.

Behind her spider mask, Gwen's eyes narrowed.

The Death Warrior had fully transitioned into close-combat mode, charging straight at her like a rocket!

The chanical structure of his arms shifted rapidly, assembling into a long, nacing blade.

He broke through the fiery shockwave of the explosions, the blade aiming directly at her!

Gwen twisted her body just in ti, the blade slicing past the tip of her nose. But her spider-sense flared wildly—

The danger was coming from the Death Warrior's knee!

The chanical structure of his knee had built up an incredible amount of energy. So glowing red substance radiated intense heat, and under the force of a launch chanism, it fired suddenly!

Bang!

A plasma projectile, burning at thousands of degrees, grazed Gwen's suit. The re brush of it left scorched black marks on her pristine white costu.

Sizzle!

A faint electric current crackled as the Death Warrior's knee chanism suddenly jamd after the attack!

The joint failed to retract, locking him in a strange position. He tried to push off the ground and throw a punch, but the faulty structure caused his movents to falter. His knee trembled before his punch even landed!

Seizing the opportunity, Gwen planted her foot on the Death Warrior's knee and pushed off with all her strength!

Crack!

The alloy knee slamd into the ground, creating a web of cracks in the pavent.

Gwen leaped away and started to piece together what was happening.

Looking up, she noticed the letters on a nearby billboard had coincidentally ford a new word: "Take hits."

"Take hits?"

"Take hits?!"

Gwen took a deep breath, dusting herself off.

Then, without hesitation, she launched a flying kick at the kneeling Death Warrior. However, his punch was far faster than her attack!

Bang!

The white figure was sent flying. Gwen's head buzzed as she crashed to the ground, struggling to get back up.

"Oh no, I got hit so hard. What a strong robot... And so dumb," she muttered sarcastically.

Using the ti she had while recovering, Gwen glanced toward the governor in the distance—

Things over there weren't what she'd expected at all.

The gangsters, clutching their guns, were in full retreat. A man behind cover was suppressing them so effectively they couldn't lift their heads, while the governor seized the chance to knock them out cold, leaving them in a state of infant-like slumber.

If soone didn't know better, they'd think those two were the assassins!

Why did this whole assassination attempt feel so... off?

Bang!

The Death Warrior leaped high and slamd his knee into a wall.

Monts later, poor Gwen was hurled out again, crashing to the ground and looking utterly pitiful.

A Series of Pop-Ups

A series of pop-up error ssages appeared on the Death Warrior's operation screen, mirrored on Harlan's control console.

His emotions swung wildly with each red error box: tense when they appeared, then relieved every ti Spider-Woman was sent flying.

"Yes! That's it! Do you see this? This is the Death Warrior—modernized super-soldier perfection!"

Harlan pumped his fist in triumph, though he kept stealing glances at Colonel Rollins, the one-eyed man standing silently behind him.

The colonel rely nodded slightly. "Not bad. There were so hiccups, but overall, the performance is acceptable. Don't forget, though—your real target is Frank Castle."

"That's easy. As long as I deal with this ddling Spider-Woman, everything else will fall into place.

Though the fallout from this incident..."

"Relax, I already told you," Rollins said, signaling Harlan to stop obsessing over it.

Information security and control? Like they'd let a greenhorn like Leo handle sothing so critical?

That ctOS system? As if Hydra would just sit back and let him play around.

Unbeknownst to them, their conversation was being monitored by nearby surveillance equipnt and transmitted across the continent to a military base.

In that base, Dr. Zola, now fully transford into a digital lifeform, resided within a network of servers.

The servers varied in age, so new and so old—just like Zola himself. An entity over a century old, he had survived by adopting cutting-edge technology.

Everything was proceeding smoothly, aside from Spider-Woman's sudden appearance.

This so-called ctOS system hadn't detected Zola's infiltration. And that girl, Skye? She was just a decently skilled hacker—not a threat.

Such precise, physical-layer manipulations could only be achieved by soone like Zola, a digital being capable of sensing and controlling electrical signals on a microscopic level.

Initially, Zola had been extrely cautious. The incident where the Vulture's suit was hacked had made him wary. But now, it seed that hack had been targeted and deliberate, executed by soone who knew exactly what they were doing.

Subtler attacks like Zola's, however, were far beyond what humans could detect through a computer screen.

Using minute electrical currents, Zola had already implanted electronic viruses within the system's infrastructure. When the attack began, these viruses launched simultaneously.

The mont the Death Warrior appeared, the data architecture of ctOS was overwheld by an intense data flow, crippling its operations!

In fact, Zola had even left room for data recovery—but if they tried to restore it, they'd find a falsified reality:

In this altered footage, the Death Warrior would appear as a hero who stopped the gangsters, while Frank Castle and the governor would be shown as having been killed by the gang!

This would crush Leo from multiple angles.

By now, Zola imagined the kid must already be pulling his hair out over the system crash.

anwhile, Zola observed through the surveillance feeds installed by Colonel Rollins.

On the console, the visual feedback showed that Spider-Woman was no longer able to stop the Death Warrior's relentless advance.

The chanical giant pressed forward, bullets ricocheting off its body with nothing but tallic clinks.

It seed like this killing machine only needed to move its limbs to end everything.

"AHHHH!"

The governor roared, leaping out from cover to punch the Death Warrior. But if bullets couldn't harm it, what could a fist do?

And yet, sohow, the unexpected happened—

Bang!

The governor's punch landed with a muffled thud, and the Death Warrior toppled over!

Everyone froze in shock.

In the control room, a loud bang echoed as chaos erupted.

Zola, however, had no ti to worry about the commotion.

Within the world of electrical signals that he occupied, sothing incomprehensible was happening.

Boom!

A wall exploded!

A group of security personnel in tactical gear stord in, their faces obscured by masks.

Harlan scread on the spot.

Rollins, a seasoned soldier, reached for his gun but was outpaced by the intruders.

Bang!

A shot hit Rollins in the abdon. As he tried to resist, two more rounds struck his legs.

"Ah, for f—"

Bang!

One of the intruders, Martin, delivered a brutal kick to Rollins' face, knocking him unconscious.

"It doesn't matter who you are," Martin said, straightening his suit. "What matters is that you picked the wrong fight."

Martin adjusted his clothes, pulled out a phone, and called Leo to deliver the good news:

"Yeah, we found them—so sleazy guy in a suit and, uh... another sleazy guy in a suit."

[TN: Lol, Zola got shit on after his arrogant ass comnt]
