Xing Luoye finally gathered the last bit of strength left in his broken body.

With great difficulty, he pushed himself up from the ground. His movents were slow and shaky, like a man who could collapse at any mont.

Yue Yue quickly held his arm to support him.

"Don’t move too much," she said softly, her voice full of worry. "You’re badly injured."

Xing Luoye looked down at her small hands holding him.

The confession rang in her mind, making her so stunned that she didn’t even know how to respond.

His breath was warm and uneven against her ear.

Yue Yue’s heart suddenly trembled. She pulled back slightly and looked at him with wide eyes.
