Han Soi nodded quietly, staying close to Yue Yue to support her if she felt tired.

Yue Yue finally returned to the room with Cang Yuze and Han Soi. The mont they stepped inside, she saw Xing Luoye gently rocking the two griffin cubs in his arms.

The cubs had woken up again and were crying loudly. Their small bodies shook with sad chirps.

Yue Yue’s eyes widened. She quickly walked toward them.

Even little Xiao Bai looked very tense. He was trying hard to get the attention of his younger brother and sister, but the griffin cubs would not even look at him. They kept crying sadly.

"They are crying because they could not sense their mother," Xing Luoye said.

The newborn cubs were closest to her, and only a few days had passed since they were born. How could she have left them for so long? Yue Yue imdiately felt guilty.
