The interstellar space had been ripped apart like a piece of cheap fabric, and Cang Yuze had been spit out into a different world.

The sky above him was a nauseating shade of swamp green, flickering with purple lightning that never brought rain. The ground was made of black volcanic rock that cut through boot leather like glass. The air was thick with the tallic tang of blood and the sour stench of the Zerg.

But for Cang Yuze, the environnt was not the worst part.

"Brother Yuze! Please, wait for ! My feet... they hurt so much! I cannot walk another step!"

A shrill, piercing cry echoed behind him, making the veins in Cang Yuze’s forehead throb with violent intensity. He did not turn around. He did not slow down. His expression was as dark as a thunderstorm, his eyes glowing with a cold, murderous light.

He had been thrown into this unknown wasteland, but he was not alone. Unfortunately, he was stuck with Lirian, his mother’s goddaughter.

In the past, he had tolerated her. She was a noble female of the Sea Empire, pampered and delicate. But now, in this hellscape, she was nothing but a heavy, screaming female dragging him down.

Lirian froze. She clamped her lips shut so hard they turned white. Her tears stopped falling mid cheek as she stared at him in genuine shock.

Why is he being so an? she thought, her heart swelling with fear and indignation. Brother Yuze has always pampered . He always treated like a little princess. He would never speak to like this!

Then, the image of Yue Yue’s face flashed in her mind.

It is that bitch, Lirian decided, her eyes darkening with hidden malice. It must be that commoner female. She must have cast a spell on him or whispered lies about . That is why my Brother Yuze has changed! He is obsessed with finding her, and he does not even care that I am bleeding!

She chewed her nails, her anxiety rising. She had never walked this much in her entire life. Her feet were covered in blisters, and her legs felt like lead.

She expected Cang Yuze to carry her, to hold her in his strong arms and tell her everything would be okay. Instead, he treated her like an annoying insect.

As they moved through a narrow canyon of black rock, a sudden skittering sound erupted from above.

Cang Yuze did not even blink. His instincts were honed by a thousand battles.

"SCREECH!"

A mid level Zerg soldier, a creature with six serrated legs and a pulsing, bloated abdon, leaped from a ledge, aiming directly for Cang Yuze’s throat.

Cang Yuze did not even draw a weapon. He simply balled his fist, his knuckles glowing with a fierce, dark energy, and punched upward.

BOOM!

The force of the blow did not just kill the Zerg; it turned the creature into a biological bomb. The Zerg’s exoskeleton shattered, and its internal fluids, a thick, neon green, sticky sli, exploded in every direction.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

A blood curdling shriek ripped through the air.

Lirian had been standing just a few feet behind him. The explosion of Zerg guts caught her full in the face. The warm, sticky, foul slling sli covered her forehead, her eyes, and dripped into her open mouth.

She fell back onto her butt, her hands clawing at her face. The sll was like rotting fish mixed with industrial acid.

"Gag... BLEGH!"

Lirian did not just cry this ti. She leaned over and violently vomited everything in her stomach onto the black rocks. Her entire body shook with disgust. She tried to wipe the sli away, but her hands were also covered in it, so she only succeeded in saring the green goo deeper into her skin and hair.

"Why is life so hard?" Lirian sobbed, trying to scrape the sli off her tongue with her fingernails.

"Why are there not any other n here? If there were other n, they would be fighting over the chance to clean my face! They would carry ! Brother Yuze is broken! He has lost his mind!"

She truly believed that if any other man saw her, they would fall to their knees to serve her. But in this wasteland, there were no admirers. There was only the cold, silent warrior who was currently looking at her like she was a pile of trash.

Cang Yuze felt his patience snap. He could not do this anymore. Every second spent listening to her was a second he was not finding his wife.

"I am leaving," he said, his voice cold and flat.

Lirian stopped vomiting for a second, her eyes wide behind a mask of green sli. "What? You cannot leave ! It is dark! There are monsters!"

Cang Yuze did not answer. He turned his back and started walking, his pace faster than before. He did not care about the Federation laws that protecting females is every Orc’s honour. He did not care about his mother’s goddaughter. He only cared about the little snake girl who held his heart.

"Wait! Brother Yuze! Do not go!"

Lirian panicked. She did not even bother trying to wipe the rest of the sli off. She scrambled to her feet, slipping once on her own vomit before sprinting after him.

"I will be quiet! I promise! Just do not leave alone!"

She looked into the shadows of the canyon, imagining a hundred Zerg eyes watching her. She realized that without Cang Yuze, she would not last five minutes.

Cang Yuze kept walking, his expression dark and focused. The world was in chaos, the Zerg were invading, and he was stuck with a screaming, sli covered lunatic.

Yue Yue, he prayed to a god he did not believe in, please be safe. Because if I find out soone has hurt you while I was stuck dealing with this, I will turn this entire galaxy into a graveyard.

Behind him, Lirian continued to stumble and snivel, her noble pride completely shattered, leaving nothing but a sticky, stinking ss.
