"Wow." She clung to a tall stump, leaped to the other side of the cliff, sliding along the wall effortlessly, as if walking on flat ground.
The wall seed to have been conquered by her, becoming a toy in her hand.
Having shed her unfamiliarity, she played with the equipnt like a pro, doing a Thomas spin against the wall, spinning in the air, flipping in a single-handed suction sorsault.
She even glided near the ground, less than a centiter from it, yet never touched it.
"Hahaha, so fun."
She dashed around the field, and all the instructors outside could recognize her, because she was the boldest, flying around the field swiftly, flashing quickly in the corners.
In the complex aerial chase in Capital Square, she could handle it with ease, so how could she lose in such a training ground where landing spots could be determined at a glance.
The little one wasn’t kidding, demonstrating textbook style, even the first encounter, she played better than these instructors.
Captain Tai said, "Let’s increase the difficulty a bit. Let’s see how long our young friend can last."
The instructors grinned insidiously, the whole field was a live-action simulation training ground, the walls could simulate, and so could the Insect Man.
The broadcast sounded, "Attention students, now we’re adding so excitent. Your scores will reset to full, and every half minute, a virtual Insect Man will be dropped in. Everyone can only escape, no counterattacks allowed. If the Insect Man catches you and attacks, fifty points will be deducted. In other words, being attacked twice ans losing, and afterwards an extra hour of training."
Students were terrified, they hadn’t mastered it yet, the instructors were being heartless.
So late, and they still had to train more.
As the voice fell, a random Insect Man was dropped.
The students scrambled to run, so panic-stricken, touching the ground, constantly triggering the penalty warnings.
"Damn, you get penalized for landing."
"Don’t chase ."
"Ah, I’m gonna die again."
"Exciting, extrely exciting."
Juggling complex terrain and jumping, while also dodging the Insect Man.
The field turned into chaos.
Screams echoed like a chaotic symphony.
Three minutes, over a hundred eliminated.
Their demise took many bizarre forms.
Liu Xun was playing well, but once the Insect Man appeared, in his panic, he got intimately close with the wall, clinging to it, slowly sliding down, unable to climb back up.
A big foot from behind stepped on his raised hand, using it as a stepping stone.
"Ouch. Ow, oh god, I want out." More heavy pressure ca on his back, doubled.
"Sorry, little Xun Xun, I hope you won’t bla ." Hu Ping recognized Liu Xun’s voice, "Since you’re already out, mind if I borrow you for a bit."
Feng Wansha jumped up imdiately, "Sorry, sorry, it’s too chaotic. Get up and get out."
Hu Ping pushed Feng Wansha in fear, a virtual Insect Man refreshed nearby, just spotting them.
The two had no choice but to turn around and walk, once again using Liu Xun as a bridge.
Enduring burdens he shouldn’t have, Liu Xun yelled, "You traitorous friends, I’ll rember you."
Feng Wansha looked back while running, "Sorry, just bear with it for now, I’m out."
On the other side, Wu Qingqing followed in Liu Xun’s footsteps, though her "death" was more peculiar, sliding along the edge of the training field, just as an Insect Man refreshed not far away.
The wind blew, escape.
A reckless person appeared in front, a huge force propelled her backward, straight through the Insect Man’s projected body, locking eyes with the Insect Man.
Wu Qingqing was out.
Those who were eliminated watched helplessly as teammates were picked off one by one, both funny and anxious for them.
The count dropped under five hundred, the broadcast sounded again, "The team of the last victor will gain ten additional evaluation points collectively. Want to win? Help each other or rely on yourselves, fight to survive."
Ten evaluation points! For each person, aning fifty points for a five-person team, seventy for a seven-person team.
It would create a significant gap.
Evaluation points were tied to rewards and school scores, all the student teams’ scores were very close now, first place holding 100 points, yet there were a hundred teams in first. Followed by those scoring ninety-five, nearly three hundred teams.
Apart from the two teams of fledgling talent, the bottom only scored fifty points, other teams chasing scores hard.
With bait dangling in front, students’ single-minded thoughts of escape changed.
Last victory, isn’t it just the last one standing?
As long as others are eliminated first, you can last till the end. Those thoughts weren’t singular, so so started playing dirty.
Feng Wansha was the first to suffer.
As she crossed a wooden stump, a hand reached out from a blind spot in her vision, grabbing her.
