Wu Qingqing said she wasn’t going. She wasn’t that crazy to spend points to leave campus just to watch cats matchmaking.

"Master, buy butterfly pastries, three portions. Only food can heal my wounded heart."

"Fine, as you wish." Su Xiaocai humd a tune, taking Huahua and Xiao Wanzi together, "Let’s go shopping."

The fun of shopping lies in the indescribable pleasure brought by seeing, hearing, and physical touch; the culture and architecture always caught Su Xiaocai’s interest.

Ji Li was always behind her, and the uncle selling butterfly pastries said he looked like a good brother willing to take his sister out to play.

Ji Li smiled. If Ji Heng heard that, he might cry!

This good brother always suppressed his younger brother with the authority of their bloodline.

"A sister is pretty, sweet-mouthed, more fun than a brother." Ji Li pinched Su Xiaocai’s face, turning it red, "Right, sister?"

With butterfly pastry crumbs filling her mouth, Su Xiaocai mumbled, "Believe it or not, I’ll spray your face."

Ji Li quickly stepped back two steps, dusting off his clothes disdainfully, "Don’t waste uncle’s butterfly pastries."

The siblings bickered with love, making the shop owner laugh heartily, "I won’t waste them. You paid for it, co by again anyti."

The streets were full of interesting little shops.

In so wider alleys, there were street vendors secretly selling things, their carts were small, ready to move at the slightest hint of trouble.

Su Xiaocai saw a vendor avoiding the city managent, speeding into a corner like a nimble eel, narrowly steering through the bend.

Professional indeed.

On Capital Star’s streets, daily life events played out that Su Xiaocai enjoyed watching.

She almost forgot to match Huahua with a partner.

Ji Li had to pull her sleeve to keep her from forgetting the main task.

He directly took her to the pet exhibition. Tickets were required to enter, which he had already prepared.

Once inside, they headed straight to the feline animal section.

There were also many large cats on display, all behind transparent safety windows. Su Xiaocai was dazzled; it was her first ti seeing so many cats gathered together.

Huahua yawned several tis. Waking up early in the morning, it was taken everywhere by its caretaker, and though it was always carried and didn’t move, it disturbed its sleep quality.

Animals can be watched later; Huahua’s matchmaking was the priority.

Arriving at a simulated grass field for cat activities, Su Xiaocai lifted Huahua into the air, then let it go, successfully introducing it into the cat group.

Huahua’s sleek and shiny fur made it the most striking among the cats.

Cats, regardless of gender, approached it.

Huahua calmly avoided their "chases," the furry brat agilely leaped to the top of a cat climbing fra, proudly overlooking the scene.

Huahua, standing on high, looked especially fierce and robust.

So female cats were completely fascinated by it.

The nearby caretakers laughed, showing their big white teeth.

Su Xiaocai was proud. It was the cat her dad gave her, extraordinary. She and Ji Li didn’t manage Huahua much; they brought it here just to see what kind of partner it liked, not to find it a mate on the spot.

The two of them played with other people’s cats using teased cat sticks, which were much more fun than Huahua.

They spun around foolishly with the teaser stick.

In contrast, Huahua would definitely cast a few big white eyes, as if to say, using that thing to tease it was an insult to its intelligence.

"Cuicui darling, let’s not get close to it, okay? That’s a stray cat, not suitable for you. You’re of high value, let’s not play with it, alright?" As the venue got larger, more quirky characters appeared. The auntie had a sharp voice, yet rarely spoke like a normal person.

Su Xiaocai glanced at her cat, with pure white fur, huge ears, skinny, sowhat like a sly fox.

"What kind of cat is that?" Su Xiaocai, not studied in cats, asked Ji Li.

Ji Li: "Long-eared cat, artificially bred, inbred, a breed that erged just a year ago." In other words, bred for a short ti, inbred, not very healthy.

No matter how expensive this female cat was, it was ugly in cat eyes.

Huahua’s disdain made it clear.

Su Xiaocai didn’t argue. Huahua’s partner must be raised by her, and it couldn’t be a dosticated cat incapable of catching mice.

After a while, the high-standing cat still sat at the top, without any interested suitors.

Masterful at claw-tearing Insect Man, it was proud and discerning.

"Huahua, co over, let’s go." When Su Xiaocai called, Huahua leaped off the climbing fra without hesitation, effortlessly landing three ters down.

Everyone could see this handso fellow’s excellent physique.

Huahua jumped onto Su Xiaocai’s shoulder, patting her face with its paw, signaling her to extend her arm.

When Su Xiaocai bent her arm, it slid down automatically, lying on her arm, continuing to laze around.

However, it wasn’t asleep, its tail playfully wrapped around Su Xiaocai’s hand, curiously observing the surroundings.

With various cats around, it was its first ti seeing so many of its kind, its round eyes tilted, looking at a nearby kitten.

It owed twice, kneading in Su Xiaocai’s elbow, turning to look at her, then gazing towards the kitten.

Su Xiaocai inhaled, "Could it be you’re shalessly playing a nurturing role?"

A flick landed on her head, Ji Li said: "Keep your thoughts decent."

"I’ve always been decent." Su Xiaocai touched her head. At this mont, soone, seeing Huahua so plump, asked if they could touch it. Before Su Xiaocai could say no, the person reached out.

As soon as she extended, Huahua’s fur bristled with alertness, staring at the person, though not attacking, it was clearly like the first day eting Su Xiaocai, wanting to hide.

Su Xiaocai feared it might not hold back its paw.

With a single swipe, it could scratch a person like shredding paper.

So she placed Huahua in Ji Li’s hands, "It’s a bit wary of strangers, don’t touch it casually, or it might scratch you." She then told Ji Li, "Standing high, seeing far, Huahua, you’re with brother here. Brother Ji, don’t let people touch it, it’s not easy to handle."

Ji Li: "So I’m easy to handle?"

Su Xiaocai gave him a sweet smile, "You’re a real brother, close, not like others, don’t fuss so much."

Strangely, Huahua didn’t guard against Ji Li, but it beca visibly more alert, even climbing up to rest steadily on his shoulder.

Ji Li rubbed Huahua’s brow with his fingertips, and Huahua owed unceremoniously, seemingly telling him to follow its caretaker.

Su Xiaocai led Xiao Wanzi into the kitten sale area.

There were countless kittens, so booths had locked displays, while slightly cheaper ones were in open cages.

Crucially, there were accessories too. Seeing a super cute cat-ear headband, Su Xiaocai took a big one and put it on Xiao Wanzi, "Hmm hmm, nice, do you like it?"

Xiao Wanzi’s eyes sparkled with hearts.

"Okay then, buy it, I want one too." She put on the sa style, one person, one machine, having fun.

Ji Li smiled throughout. Having a sister was indeed nice, she didn’t need to be obedient, just being cute was enough.

Unlike her brother, who only received disdain every ti he was looked at.

So dumb, he was unwatchable.

The pet show also featured artificial fur items, incredibly soft to the touch.

Buying things for Xiao Wanzi, Su Xiaocai never cared much about price.

If she liked it, she’d buy it, intending to get it a fluffy little apron and hat for winter, definitely a warm Wanzi.

Happily buying stuff, she finally returned to choose a cat.

Because there were too many cat booths, Su Xiaocai didn’t choose much, stopping casually at a booth of love sales. The vendor’s cats were all mixed fur, unbred "stray cats," very cheap, fifty yuan each, requiring owner’s information registration, with follow-up interviews.

Su Xiaocai was originally choosing kittens when she spotted a tabby cat chained up, drawing her attention.

Very skinny, its gaze fierce, undoubtedly with countless mouse lives behind it.

"Boss, why do you have a tabby cat chained here?"
