The seeds taken by the professor have been temporarily confiscated.

Before confirming the safety of Jun Ya Academy, they will be kept by the military.

The military has reason to suspect that Vice Principal Jun Ya took the seeds to conduct Insect Man adaptability experints.

Anyone with combat experience against Insect n should understand that if the experint results are provided to the Insect Mother by spies, they might produce Insect n that can resist Mang Blood.

In fact, there’s nothing inherently wrong with spies targeting this.

But they’re sowhat foolish, as Mang Blood does not exist as a weapon against Insect n, but rather to tidy up the aftermath.

Even if Insect n resistant to Mang Blood are produced, so what? The main enemies of Insect n are the cha and soldiers.

Perhaps the spies believe that the data shared by the military and Su Xiaocai is false.

Regardless of the intent, Zeng Xiujin has caused trouble for Jun Ya.

Jun Ya is now sealed off; teachers and principals face the sa restrictions, as do the rchants bringing goods.

Among the students, there’s an atmosphere of paranoia and fear, worried that so among them might be Insect n too.

Su Xiaocai gleefully wanted to see Xue Huiyi’s embarrassnt; her roommates were envious but could only wave their handkerchiefs.

"Rember to tell us about it when you get back."

With Su Xiaocai’s rise, people constantly compared Xue Huiyi to her.

They said Su Xiaocai and Xue Huiyi were evenly matched.

However, the roommates were well aware that they were incomparable; Xue Huiyi, lacking substance without the Ji Family power, lost half her support.

Unless Xue Huiyi quickly finds another backing, she will remain a laughingstock in the elite circle for a long ti.

The roommates watched the departing car from the balcony, and Xing Miao said wistfully, "Caicai is so busy now, she will surely get busier, and we might drift apart."

"Not likely; I think she’ll beco the link that brings us together in the future." Feng Wansha laughed, "When we all are out pursuing our paths, she’ll still be farming."

"Pfft, that’s true; she can’t seem to leave her land." Even while researching, Su Xiaocai constantly talks about her crops.

When Su Xiaocai first visited the Ji Family, not bringing a gift felt impolite, so midway she retrieved fruits from the Space Button, mimicking Admiral Bai, ford a vine basket to make a fruit basket.

But never having made one before, she pondered for a bit and stuffed it full without regard for aesthetics, aiming for quantity.

She even tossed two bamboo shoots in there.

Ji Li laughed at her desperation to succeed, "This isn’t a fruit basket; this is a gift of local specialties."

"Local specialties are gifts too, aren’t they? Disdain them?" Su Xiaocai glanced at him, "So people would pay a lot to get them."

Upon arriving, Ji Li led her into the house.

Though the gathering was requested by Ji Li, Ji Heng did the invitations, and the Xue Family was all there; by dinnerti, they had moved to the dining area.

The atmosphere was relatively harmonious, not as chaotically arguntative as expected.

Xue Huiyi sat poised at the dining chair; seeing Su Xiaocai, she lost control a bit and shouted, "Isn’t this supposed to be a family gathering? Why is she here?"

"You aren’t family either, so why are you here?" Ji Li reintroduced Su Xiaocai to his parents, "My lifesaver, she heard there’d be gatherings with delicious food; naturally, she ca to enjoy."

Ji Heng was present too, visibly anxious until he saw his brother and Su Xiaocai, quietly waving, delighted.

Finally relieved of interrogation from the Xue Family.

Just monts ago, Xue Feiting continuously asked him about school matters, speaking as if he were initially at fault and in the wrong; without his mother’s shield, he’d feel pressured to escape.

Su Xiaocai held onto the bamboo shoots of the fruit basket, placing the basket full of fruits on the dining table, "I have a large appetite, so I brought my own ingredients; if there’s not enough later, you can use these veggies to make more dishes."

The caretaker approached, "Miss Su, let handle these."

"Bringing such things as a gift, truly poor taste," Xue Huiyi sneered.

Yi Xue frowned, observing how her daughter lost her composure with Su Xiaocai’s arrival.

"Ah, you ca; no need to bring gifts, co, sit by ." Ji’s mother had a knack for getting under Xue Huiyi’s skin, showing Su Xiaocai extra warmth in front of her.

Su Xiaocai unabashedly took a seat beside Ji’s mother, treating herself like family.

Utterly infuriating Xue Huiyi.

They were there today for the engagent cancellation, so discussing anything with outsiders present seed impractical.

Ji Li seated himself, naturally initiating, "You’ve co to discuss the engagent cancellation today, right? How’s the discussion going? When will it be publicly announced? Don’t delay my brother in finding the next match."

Xue Huiyi slamd the table in anger, "Just ended an engagent and already seeking the next, not afraid of being called a scumbag."

Xue Feiting admonished, "Huixixi!"

Who holds the bla? Xue Feiting likely knew it was his daughter’s fault.

Even so, he still wanted to understand the reason for their breakup.

Ji Li said, "Being called a scumbag is inconsequential, as long as it’s unrelated to you, we might even broadly announce the search for a spouse."

With Ji Li’s presence, the negotiation table belonged to him, with Father Ji and Ji’s mother standing aside.

"Ji Li, give Uncle so respect; Huixixi is still young, if she did sothing wrong, forgive her."

"Nothing she did deserves forgiveness; if Uncle doesn’t wish for relations between the Xue and Ji families to sour, it’s best you send her to jail on your own accord."

Xue Feiting’s eyes were sharp, "What do you an by that?"

"I an, the wrongs she committed have already violated the law. I doubt you’re completely unaware; be it my life attempted or else, do you imagine she didn’t target Ji Heng similarly?"

Father Ji and Ji’s mother were ignorant of this matter; Ji’s mother erupted, "What? You dare attempt to harm my two sons?"

Su Xiaocai remained calm, defensively holding her bowl while pressing down Ji’s mother, "Aunt Ji, don’t rush; being angry doesn’t help. Just listen to Ji Li finish."

Mrs. Xue, Yi Xue, was evidently shocked, her face pale, turning to look at her daughter; prior, she hadn’t believed Xue Huiyi would dare to murder, likely guided or used by soone.

"Are you mistaken? Huixixi has always been kind-hearted, she genuinely liked Ji Heng." Mrs. Xue was certain of her daughter’s potentially bad temper, yet couldn’t believe she intended to murder Ji Heng.

"Of course, she didn’t personally murder; she hired soone." Ji Li didn’t wish to waste words with the Xue Family and tossed them two videos to watch, one with Xue Huiyi speaking with Yi Suilu, and another showing her placing cash in a car for a hitman.

Xue Feiting took the video; although edited, many parts were clearly one continuous shot, not fild separately.

Xue Feiting and Yi Xue felt tumultuous shock internally.

The evidence firmly lay in the Ji Family’s hands; Xue Feiting stayed composed, "How can you prove the person in the video is my daughter? It’s possible soone impersonated."

Ji Li chuckled, "You can certainly claim the person isn’t your daughter, but this is fild by my own eyes; your denying holds no sway."

"She wanted dead—maybe I offended her, even if a tenuous reason, provides a motive. Do you know what she did on the 022 chanical Planet?"

Xue Huiyi stood, lifting her chair, madly flinging it at Ji Li.

"Enough! To what extent will you falsely accuse ? You know nothing, understand nothing."

Su Xiaocai swiftly caught the chair, preventing Ji Li from serious harm.

Strong suspicion arose that Ji Li brought her to avert disaster.

"Know about what? Go on, son, speak. Let’s see what this fool can say."

Ji’s mother was seething; her second son, Ji Heng, had talent and looks, why seek harm? Why not just end the engagent?

Ji Li spoke rapidly, giving no room for Xue Huiyi’s madness, "Ji Heng was in the midst of breaking up with her—perhaps due to this, she was displeased. Knowing a potential Insect Man crisis could erupt on Huangyang Star, she still said nothing, trying to condemn Ji Heng and his classmates to perish."
