Sebastian's actions just monts ago really surprised and shocked the others who were present. The sharp-eyed ones among them had already seen the red skull image burning with eerie blue flas that appeared on Sebastian's face just now. Everyone was really worried and concerned about Sebastian's condition and wellbeing.
"Sebastian, your face just now looked..." Steve began hesitantly.
Before Steve could finish his sentence, Sebastian said to him directly and reassuringly, "Do not worry about it, it is just a small problem left over from my previous treatnt of the Ghost Rider. It can be solved as long as there is enough ti to properly handle it. There is no need to worry too much about my condition. Of course, if you are worried, you can also check it out with your own eyes."
"Oh, that is not necessary at all. I think among all the people present here, you are the least likely to have serious problems that cannot be fixed," Steve replied with confidence.
"Okay, then I will take Banner away with now. As for other things and cleanup, I will not take care of them," Sebastian stated firmly.
As soon as Sebastian finished speaking, Tony imdiately said without hesitation, "I will go with you to help, and the rest of the situation will be left to you, Captain."
Steve looked at Tony helplessly and said with a slight smile, "Every ti there is dangerous work to do, it is Captain, and when there is nothing to do, it is just Steve. You are very realistic enough, Tony."
"The more capable you are, the more work you get! That is just how it works!" Tony replied with a grin.
With a chuckle, Tony broke away from the massive Hulkbuster armor. At the sa ti, a dium-sized cargo plane appeared suspended in the air above them. After Tony left the armor, the Hulkbuster quickly deford and transford back into a shuttle again. It entered the cargo plane by itself and both disappeared in mid-air.
At this mont, Sebastian nodded to the others in acknowledgnt, signaling Tony to reach out and grab his shoulder. Then, along with Tony and the unconscious Banner, he Apparated and vanished from the spot.
Seeing Sebastian and the others leave, Steve and the remaining Avengers imdiately went to look for Carol and check on her condition.
By the ti they found her, Carol had fainted from the impact. While the suddenness of the incident had been a factor, leaving Carol unable to react properly, it also proved that Sebastian's power had reached a level they could not match or comprehend.
In reality, Sebastian's ability to easily blast Carol away was not due to his own natural strength alone, but rather to the dangerous power within his mind's realm, belonging to the forr Lord of Hell, the Elental Demon known as Zarathos.
Because Sebastian had not fully absorbed Zarathos's consciousness fragnts within that ntal realm, nor had he fully grasped and controlled the power within them, anger or extre negative emotions could easily trigger a sudden burst of Zarathos's power from within that realm without warning.
If it were against an enemy, this uncontrolled power might be a good thing, but this power was uncontrollable and could easily harm innocent others around him. It could also awaken the dormant consciousness of Zarathos himself, causing this ancient Lord of Hell, the elental demon, to reawaken in Sebastian's body. That would be truly troubleso and dangerous.
So generally speaking, Sebastian tried his best to avoid using that particular power, but sotis he could not control it when his emotions ran high.
Only by completely absorbing the fragnts of Zarathos's consciousness in the consciousness space could Sebastian completely solve the problem once and for all and reap considerable rewards from that power.
Sebastian took Tony and the unconscious Banner directly to the forr Tri-Fortress, now known as the Illuminati Fortress.
After settling Banner down comfortably and drawing so of his blood for testing, Sebastian and Tony left the room and went to a nearby laboratory facility.
Giving the blood sample to Tony, Sebastian said directly, "Tony, take care of this first and begin preliminary tests. I will go get Reed Richards. He is probably the best person at handling this kind of analysis."
"Okay, go ahead and bring him!" Tony agreed readily.
Tony was not completely convinced that Reed was better than him, but he had to admit that Reed was superior in so specific ways. So, he was not too upset about Sebastian going to get Reed for help.
When Sebastian appeared beside Reed using Apparition, Susan Storm was sitting on Reed's lap, the two of them whispering sweet things to each other intimately.
Sebastian's sudden appearance caused Susan to subconsciously turn invisible out of embarrassnt. "Oh, Sebastian, you really... you just showed up without any warning or telling us first."
With a sowhat apologetic smile on his face, Sebastian said to Susan, "Sorry to interrupt you and Reed like this, but I have sothing important to talk to Reed about. My apologies."
"Okay, okay. I will make room for you two to talk," Susan said with understanding.
Susan, as always when embarrassed, vanished completely from sight.
At this mont, Reed looked at Sebastian helplessly, shook his head, and said with a smile, "Okay, now tell what has happened to bring you here so urgently."
"Banner is under the influence of so unknown drug, and I want you to help find out what it is exactly," Sebastian explained.
"Banner... Alright, let us go right away! I can also tell you about the investigation I have been conducting on the Shadow Council," Reed replied imdiately.
Sebastian reached out and grabbed Reed's shoulder firmly, then Apparated away, disappearing from the spot and reappearing inside the Illuminati Fortress. Just as the two n erged from the teleportation, Tony, still in his battle suit, flew rapidly towards them.
Sebastian waved his hand casually, and Tony levitated in mid-air before landing gently on the ground.
At this mont, a thunderous roar was heard echoing through the halls, and the Hulk, still with bloodshot eyes filled with rage, rushed towards them with violent intent.
"That drug is so potent? What on earth is it!" Sebastian exclaid in surprise.
Hearing Sebastian's words, Reed's body instantly stretched out elastically, his limbs, neck, and torso wrapping around the Hulk's massive form, binding him tightly and making him unable to move for a short ti.
"Sebastian, it is up to you!" Reed shouted.
Hearing Reed's words, Sebastian raised his wand and cast a powerful Stunning Spell directly on the Hulk. Red lightning continuously fell on the Hulk's face repeatedly, finally knocking him unconscious and transforming him back into Banner again.
"Based on the magic resistance he just showed against my spell, my magic should keep him unconscious for about five or six hours. That should be enough ti for us to figure out what is wrong with him," Sebastian stated.
Sebastian levitated Banner's body and sent him to a new secure lounge, while Tony and Reed went imdiately to investigate the Hulk's blood problem.
After leaving the lounge, Sebastian watched the engineering robots cleaning up the wreckage from the Hulk's rampage and then went directly to the laboratory. Tony, now free of his armor, and Reed were busy testing Banner's blood sample carefully to find out what substance was causing Banner's uncontrollable madness.
Ti passed minute by minute, and finally after three long hours of intensive testing, Reed and Tony detected the trace amount of foreign substance in the blood. It was a hormone drug containing another person's DNA mixed within. It was this mysterious substance that caused the Hulk to beco so unusually violent and uncontrollable!
