Without hesitation, Gamora activated the protective shield between the stern and the cabin. She donned her protective suit. Then she opened the ship's door.

She did not imdiately choose to use the crystal Sebastian had given her. That might have saved herself and the others. But it would have ant abandoning Nebula. Gamora planned to return to Thanos first. She would find a chance to use the crystal to summon Sebastian. Then she would escape from Thanos with Nebula and herself. As for the Soul Stone... she could just give it to him.

The stern door opened. A strong wind imdiately blew out. It caused Gamora to stumble slightly.
