Hela knew that the Authority of the God-King could only be taken away if soone more worthy than she was to beco the Lord of Asgard appeared. Otherwise, it would remain untapped and unclaid.
If this continued, until the Authority of the God-King within her was completely stripped away, not only would her power decline dramatically, but she would also completely lose her immortality and the various blessings she received within Asgard.

Within the mountains of Asgard, Hela and Thor were visible, engaged in close combat. A vast array of weapons flew around them. Countless bolts of lightning swirled in the air. Whether weapons or lightning, Hela and Thor handled them effortlessly. They lifted heavy objects with ease. Their control of their own power had reached an imnse level.
"Thor Odinson, return my Authority of the God-King to !"
Hela roared furiously, slashing with her necrosword. But Thor caught the blade with his bare hand and crushed it. He then unleashed a bolt of lightning to strike Hela's chest directly, forcing Hela backwards.

As the golden light rged into Thor's body, his aura intensified dramatically. He condensed the full Authority of the God-King into one being. Finally Thor had beco the true Lord of Asgard.
God-King Thor!
At this mont, as if cheering the arrival of a new generation of God-King, all of Asgard began to tremble beneath their feet. Clouds surged violently above the realm. A rainbow of multicolored light descended from the heavens, celebrating the birth of the new God-King.
Thor slowly landed on the ground. He looked at Hela and said to her directly, "Hela, I will not kill you. This is the kindness my father once taught !"
