"Hahaha. Why is Yuki so short?" Taumus rolled on his back.

"I don’t see how that was necessary." Yuki pursed his lips in embarrassnt.

"Don’t worry. I think you look cute," Seria cheered him up.

"But Elliot is cuter." She dragged Elliot’s cheek.

"Okay, okay. I hear you." Yuki rolled his eyes.

Yuki looked short, Caldiya looked as if she had been thrown under a bus, while Kalehan was covered in so kind of black oil, and Drakan was covered in bloody scars. They were all at a loss for words. I an, who wouldn’t be after they had just heard that their entire worlds had been destroyed, friends and family included?

"The corrosion you speak of, who or what was it caused by?" Past Caldiya stood to her feet. Given the look on her face, she was prepared to go into battle.

"I think we should all reason logically. I an, you saw what those creatures, or whatever they are called, did to our worlds."

Past Yuki, as expected, maintained a level head and was already trying to ascertain the situation.

"I haven’t heard most of the words you said, Ohchibiske." Past Drakan sneered.

"Huh?! You are calling short?" Past Yuki stood on his tiptoes, yet he couldn’t reach Drakan’s shoulder.

"The human boy is right, Lady Elf. I think we should hear from the man who brought us here." Kalehan made a hand gesture telling Caldiya to calm down.

"Thank you for your cooperation," Skion stated.

Before he continued his address, a wyvern-like invader burst out from beneath the mountain range.

It opened its mouth filled with jagged teeth. A mass of flas started to form inside the wyvern’s mouth.

"I think we should run." Yuki pointed at the wyvern.

Drakan stepped in front of him. "A dragonoid never runs from a fight." He bent his knees and held his spear at shoulder level.

"That beast burnt the World Tree to ashes." Caldiya clutched her fist.

White translucent energy surrounded them. Skion levitated upwards into the skies, enshrouded by a white binding light.

"You guys shouldn’t worry. You are my guests, and it’s my duty to protect you." He turned around and looked at them with compassionate eyes.

They pointed rapidly upwards. "Huh?! What are you all trying to say?" He was not paying attention to the wyvern; it was about to release its scorching breath.

The wyvern unleashed its breath and engulfed Skion.

"Is he still alive?" Past Yuki muttered.

A gust of wind was released from within the flas, and they were completely dissipated. In a blur, Skion appeared underneath the jaw of the wyvern. He placed a hand on its jaw, and a massive force erupted, blowing the wyvern’s head clean off.

The remains of the wyvern fell to the ground. Its dark mucky blood splashed on the mountain surface.

Past Caldiya fell to her knees. "My people could barely defeat one of those beasts." She looked up to the descending Skion.

"But you did it in an instant." She bent her head to the floor. "Please, I beg of you, teach your ways so I may avenge my people."

She gave off a lot of bloodlust.

"Young elf. Revenge is not all there is to life." Skion smiled brightly at her. He left a warm impression on Caldiya’s heart.

"I don’t know who you are yet, but I can already tell you are hella strong." Past Drakan went on one knee, sothing considered a taboo amongst the proud dragonoid race who refused to bow down to anyone, not even their king.

"I ask of you to train ," he said boldly.

"I am but a humble miner, but you chose to save my life for a greater purpose. Please allow my filthy self to serve alongside you."

Kalehan followed suit.

Yuki stepped forward with a devoted look on his face. "The rational choice would be to follow you. And this isn’t based on assumption, as the power you displayed here was evident enough," he stated calmly.

"As you all are now, you are too weak to face the forces of darkness as you are now." Skion clapped his hands.

Four different colours of light erged from his soul. They floated around him in a circular motion.

"Allow to bestow upon you the dominion over the four primordial seasons."

The lights entered each of their bodies respectively. They rose from their feet, bodies floating mid-air, as green, blue, red, and orange lights erged from their bodies respectively.

They felt as if they were surrounded by a warm blanket. Each breath they took resonated with the world itself.

"Calm and level-headed, just like the stillness of winter," Skion said as Yuki dropped to his feet and ice shards erupted around him.

"Majestic, but yet deadly, brimming with the vitality of spring." Caldiya landed on her feet. Plants and flowers sprouted around her.

"Constructive, but not afraid to demolish. Embodying the desolation and creativity of fall."

Kalehan crashed down, cracking the ground beneath him.

"And last but not least, harbouring the destructive force that leads to new life. Blazing with the intensity of sumr."

Wisps of flas surrounded Drakan as he fell to his feet.

"I welco you, Vassals of Creation."

Skion staggered for a brief mont. The tips of his pure white hair turned black.

"Are you okay, Master?" Past Caldiya called out.

"It’s fine, Spring. I just used too much of my strength, that’s all." He smiled even while in severe pain.

This mont marked the birth of the four vassals that would fight alongside the Sky Father to banish the darkness.

The mories fast-forwarded like pictures on a kaleidoscope. Then they reached the mont of the final battle after all the Dark Emissaries were banished and it was just Helix remaining.

Helix appeared as a huge dark fog in the mory with red eyes and jagged hands that swallowed anything, spell, or attack that it ca into contact with.

"You may have sealed my subordinates, but I am immune to your spells. So what next, Primordial God and his disciples?" Helix rasped like a broken radio. He sneered at the pathetic sight of Skion and the Vassals.

They were all worn out and could barely stand on their feet. At that very mont, Skion had to take a drastic step. He turned around and looked at his Vassals with eyes of sorrow.

From his gaze, they already knew what he wanted to do and what they had to do to help him.

The mory began to break as if so kind of external interference had occurred.

Helix turned his head chanically upwards to where Elliot, the Four Seasons, and the Vassals stood above them.

"So you are the weaklings Skion left his last hope to?" He sneered.
