Their expressions were a mixture of disbelief and panic. Not daring to linger or even attempt to attack Zhou Yuanjue, they imdiately tried to flee into the distance to find their next hosts.

He saw a figure walking slowly toward him, like an Immortal or a Bodhisattva from religious legend. A halo of peace and tranquility shone behind his head, a crystalline, jade-like light radiated from his body, and a massive Flaming Giant Bird hovered behind him.
And behind this figure, the bodies of the middle-aged man and the boy lay on the ground, their necks more than halfway severed, crimson blood sprayed everywhere.
Tang Chen's pupils contracted violently, and he couldn't stop his jaw from dropping open.
