The upper echelons of Donghua were, to varying degrees, aware of the Secret Inspection Bureau’s existence. They knew of the departnt’s special nature and that it harbored a great many talented and extraordinary individuals.
However, the Secret Inspection Bureau was a clandestine organization with an extrely high security clearance. Even within the Elder Council, very few people knew the true state of its affairs.
Similarly, most of Donghua’s top officials knew of the Martial Arts Realm’s existence and understood the formidable individual strength possessed by so top-tier Martial Artists. However, their knowledge of the Saint Awakening level remained extrely limited.
In their eyes, although Martial Artists possessed terrifying physical conditioning and skills, this was an era where individual power had been greatly diminished. Thus, no matter how strong they were, they would still seem insignificant before the might of the entire nation and could be kept firmly under control.
So ti ago, the circulation of videos from the Hero Assembly showcased the power of Saint Awakenings to many high-ranking officials on a wide scale for the very first ti, sparking considerable debate.
This recent incident, however, had caused those previous discussions to explode.
Triggering a Celestial Phenonon, calling down lightning, leaving the scene looking as if it had been bombarded by artillery shells... This terrifying power had completely transcended the scope of what was humanly possible.
Upon reaching such a realm, the power of the human body was no longer just a matter of individual strength.
A nation is a single entity, but this entity is composed of millions upon millions of individuals, and every single one of them has a mind of their own.
This incident made many of the more ordinary high-ranking officials begin to take the power of the individual seriously.
It also gave rise to a great many new concerns and fears.
’Will an attack like this happen again?’
’If it happens near us, can it be stopped?’
’Is there any way to counteract such an individual?’
’What was their objective in carrying out such an attack? And who are they?’
Before long, such discussions had spread throughout the upper echelons, and the incident was officially classified as a terrorist attack.
The existence of Celestial Demons was highly classified information. To prevent certain high-ranking officials from becoming interested in a Celestial Demon’s power and thereby triggering unpredictable events, intelligence concerning them had always been tightly controlled by the relevant security departnts and a select few senior leaders. However, the outbreak of the attack on Songyang University made it impossible to conceal much of that intelligence any longer.
The existence of Celestial Demons and the intelligence related to them would likely soon begin to circulate.
When that happened, there was no telling what would unfold.
After all, not everyone could remain true to their original principles.
Moreover, Celestial Demons were masters at exploiting human desire.
「Zixiao Mountain, a courtyard at the summit.」
"These are eventful tis."
The Chief Commissioner couldn’t help but sigh when he received the intelligence regarding Songyang University.
He knew his opponent wouldn’t just follow their script, but he hadn’t expected them to act so ruthlessly.
’Thankfully, that kid is tough and managed to pull through. Otherwise, the loss would have been imnse.’
’A Celestial Demon of that caliber lurking in the shadows... That was sothing he hadn’t anticipated.’
’Celestial Demons concealed so many abilities; it was impossible to guard against them all.’
Just then, he received a ssage from the Grand Elder inviting him to participate in a group discussion eting with the Elder Council.
This ca as a great surprise to him.
As a clandestine agency, the Secret Inspection Bureau answered directly to the Grand Elder and was typically not qualified to participate in etings of this caliber.
However, when he learned the topic for discussion, the Chief Commissioner understood why his participation was required. The agenda for the eting was:
"A Planning and Discussion eting on Strengthening Character Education and Reforming National Physical Education."
’It seems that, spurred by this incident, certain important asures are finally being officially put on the agenda.’

「Northern Secret Inspection Bureau Special Hospital.」
Outside the highest-level intensive care ward, Ning Muqing stood watch before a glass window, observing the dical staff bustling about as they recorded various data.
Zhou Yuanjue, a miserable sight, lay on the hospital bed. White bandages were wrapped around his entire body, making him look like a mummy.
His injuries this ti were extrely severe. With his current strength, he would have recovered from his usual wounds—even the grave injuries he sustained when he first achieved Saint Awakening—in less than a day.
But these injuries were different. The flesh wounds were rely superficial; the truly serious damage was the disorder within his own Life Magnetic Field.
Releasing his self-imposed limits had left his body almost completely defenseless against the Natural Magnetic Field. In the process of mobilizing the Natural Magnetic Field beyond its breaking point and being subjected to the field’s Rainbow Transformation, his own Life Magnetic Field had been disrupted as well.
In other words, the subtle magnetic fields within a large portion of his body’s cellular tissues had been altered. He had to gradually restore these chaotic fields to their normal state before his physical injuries could fully heal.
This was an extrely delicate and tedious process, which ant that Zhou Yuanjue would likely need at least one to two months to truly recover his strength. If any complications were to arise during the restoration process, his recovery ti could be even longer.
He hadn’t suffered an injury of this kind since perfecting his Fist Technique, which just went to show how terrifying the backlash from releasing his self-imposed limits was. If he hadn’t comprehended the secrets of Yin Yang Unity, he absolutely would not have survived.
Even as his body healed, his consciousness did not rest; he was constantly reliving the state he had been in.
’Suppressing my instincts, allowing my mind to control my body with complete freedom... This creates a "paradoxical" state within the body, letting the two states of Yin and Yang coexist simultaneously.’
’This is the path of Yin Yang Unity. It’s not just applicable to ; this path I’ve discovered might be viable for other Saint Awakenings, too. It’s just that the risk is far too great. Other Saint Awakenings don’t have my Yin Fire Ability, so they can’t repair their bodies in ti. For them, this path would almost certainly be a fatal one.’
’Even I wouldn’t dare attempt it a second ti lightly. One careless mistake, and I’d be stuck in bed for months. No one could tolerate that.’
’However, achieving Yin and Yang balance requires a great deal of practice. This seed to be a dead end.’
’I don’t necessarily have to suppress all my instincts. Maybe I could try suppressing them partially, or just the instincts in certain parts of my body. I could start by experinting and training with those parts first. That way, even if I get injured, it won’t be too severe, and I’ll be able to repair it in ti.’
Zhou Yuanjue mulled over the path forward.
’Once I gradually master this balance, I’ll be able to suppress my instincts for a certain period of ti while maintaining a perfect Yin and Yang balance. In that balanced state, my body’s endurance would be drastically heightened. I could very likely use the "Yin Yang Life and Death" state with minimal damage, or perhaps even no damage at all.’
’And if I could maintain a dynamic Yin and Yang balance at all tis, constantly controlling my body’s instincts without suffering any damage, and make "Yin Yang Life and Death" my regular state... at that point, I might just enter a new realm.’
’Suppressing instinct, perfectly controlling every aspect of the body, truly becoming its Sovereign, where my every move could trigger changes in the Celestial Phenonon.’
’Among Celestial Demons, that realm is called "First Generation," while among humans, it is called "Celestial Phenonon."’
