By the ti Zhou Yuanjue and Li Qingxuan returned to the Wuhai Villa, the sky had already grown dark.

After the two had dinner, Li Qingxuan had soone find so necessary props for Zhou Yuanjue, then watched helplessly as he shut himself in the training room again.

In the training room, Zhou Yuanjue sat cross-legged in the very center. Before him was a candlestick half a person’s height, and on it rested a large, red candle.

His eyes focused on the candle’s wick, and his entire aura gradually cald with his intense gaze.

He began to try and concentrate, to condense his spirit, will, soul, and other such intangible things into a single mass.

Zhou Yuanjue had already practiced so techniques for Concentrating and Calming the Mind while cultivating the Red Falcon Fist. Coupled with his current enlightennt in the state of Holy and Bright, his Spiritual Will was already incredibly strong. He believed that completely focusing his spirit and attention on a single point would not be a difficult task.

But when he actually tried, he realized it wasn’t as simple as he had imagined.

With the aid of his powerful will and the act of staring at the wick, he was indeed able to condense his spirit to the greatest possible degree. However, this mass of spirit could never beco as smooth and perfectly round as a pearl, like Wei Fengyi’s had been.

In his perception, the spirit he had gathered was "uneven and bumpy," and its shape even changed frequently.

If the spirit Wei Fengyi condensed was a radiant jewel, then Zhou Yuanjue’s was an unpolished, stubborn rock.

But he soon found the reason.

The reason his spirit was "uneven and bumpy" was because of the constant life and death of subtle, distracting thoughts.

If it weren’t for the Lamp Burning Technique helping him concentrate his spirit to the utmost, he would have never known that such subtle, distracting thoughts were hidden within his mind.

His mind was a restless ape, his thoughts a galloping horse.

Perhaps this issue wasn’t obvious in a normal state, but under extre ntal concentration, these subtle problems beca prominent.

’A calm mind, deep in thought, perfectly round and flawless.’

’How can I achieve this?’

Zhou Yuanjue recalled the scene of Wei Fengyi demonstrating the Lamp Burning Technique and had a flash of insight.

’Staring at the wick... the key isn’t just about concentrating my spirit. It’s about the concept of "burning."’

He began to try using his concentrated spirit to ignite the wick.

Obviously, sothing that defied the laws of physics couldn’t possibly succeed. Yet, within his spirit, Zhou Yuanjue obtained what he wanted.

Under his gaze, the wick before him seed to truly ignite with a faint flicker of fla. This fla was filled with a sense of warmth, wisdom, stability, and peace.

It was the fla of wisdom and enlightennt.

This fla appeared not only before his eyes, but also within his heart.

His condensed mass of spirit seed to be placed upon this fla, slowly being forged. The distracting thoughts gradually vanished, just like crude iron being slted a hundred tis, becoming purer in the fierce fire.

’The Heart Fire forges, the True Spirit is refined a hundred tis.’

At that mont, he finally understood where the perfectly round feeling of Wei Fengyi’s spirit ca from.

It was an existence born from being forged by the Heart Fire of the Lamp Burning Technique, representing the Great ditation of the soul.

Vaguely, Zhou Yuanjue sensed that Wei Fengyi’s state was not yet the true peak.

’True gold refined a hundred tis... In the end, a bright light manifests within the will, without a single impurity. Glistening gold, perfectly round—that must be the highest realm.’

This reminded him of the Golden Core described by the Daoist Family.

’So Buddhism and the Dao share the sa origin. All paths of cultivation lead to the sa destination.’

Limited by his own Martial Dao level and Physical Strength, Wei Fengyi could only ignite the "fire in his heart" with the Lamp Burning Technique; he could not ignite the "fire in his body."

But he was different. He was a powerful Martial Artist who had comprehended Holy and Bright and could, to a certain extent, rge his spirit and body. With this Heart Fire, he could do much more.

Guided by the fire of his soul and leveraging the state of Heart’s Desire Bursting Out from Holy and Bright, his body underwent a corresponding change within that brief duration.

His bodily functions ignited. His blood circulation accelerated, and his internal energy systems went into overdrive, continuously supplying his body with imnse physical power. His hormone levels rose significantly, and all his physiological functions were enhanced to a certain degree.

It was like he’d been injected with a high-powered stimulant.

From mind to body, body and mind as one, the True Fire burns, illuminating all like a candle.

This was the Samadhi True Fire.

SCREECH!!

Within his will, the giant bird soaring through the sky seed to have its wings tinged with a flicker of firelight.

Zhou Yuanjue’s will gradually cald. He knew he had found the direction for his own unique secret technique.

...

...

「Seven days later.」

Aided by his powerful constitution, Zhou Yuanjue’s injuries had mostly healed and no longer affected his movent.

During this ti, Li Qingxuan had watched as Zhou Yuanjue spent nearly all his ti soaking in the training room, even going so far as to make a bed on the floor.

For these seven days, Zhou Yuanjue lived an extrely reginted life.

He would practice the Lamp Burning Technique for two hours. When his spirit grew weary, he would stop his cultivation and force his body into a state of deep sleep. Then, two hours later, he would wake up and continue practicing, repeating the cycle.

During this practice, not only did Zhou Yuanjue not feel tired, he actually felt his spirit being polished until it beca even rounder and smoother.

Both his will and his soul had already reached an extrely high realm; he had only lacked a catalyst, and the Lamp Burning Technique was exactly that.

He stood quietly in the center of the training ground, wearing only a pair of training pants. His eyes were half-closed, his spirit condensed into what seed to be a perfectly round jewel.

After seven days of training, he could already condense his spirit at any ti and any place, without needing the candlestick and wick.

He no longer needed external aids. The brilliant lamp was now within his own heart.

’Using the false to cultivate the true.’

A fla ignited within his spirit, flickering with the light of persistence, determination, and the will to transcend his own limits.

Behind his head, a faint halo seed to appear vaguely, but perhaps it was just an illusion, and there was nothing there.

This was one application of the Lamp Burning Technique that he had figured out after seven days of training.

Candlelight Illumination.

In this state, his concentration was heightened, and both his Insight and Analysis Power were enhanced to a certain degree.

Furthermore, because his spirit was calm, gathered, and flawlessly round, he could resist the effects of Heart’s Desire Bursting Out to a certain extent.

Next was another state.

Standing calmly, Zhou Yuanjue slowly assud a fist stance.

BOOM!!

The muscles all over his body suddenly swelled to their absolute limit, and his hands beca engorged with blood and turned crimson.

SCREECH!

Within his Heart Intent, the giant bird soaring through the sky suddenly manifested.

Heart’s Desire Bursting Out!

And it didn’t stop there. In the instant that his soul and body created a subtle resonance under Heart’s Desire Bursting Out, the lamplight within his Heart Intent spread to his physical form.

Even the soaring giant bird was tinged with a bright, fiery glow.

His blood began to boil, and his internal energy systems went into overdrive.

SCREECH SCREECH SCREECH SCREECH SCREECH!!

In the span of a few short seconds, Zhou Yuanjue threw an untold number of punches. The airflow turned chaotic, and every single fist surprisingly carried the thin Qi Blade that only appeared when using the Profound Heart Fist Emission Technique.

In this state, the power of his Fist Technique rose to another level.

Samadhi Lamp Burning Realm - Hundred Falcons Cloud Blade Hand!
