At that mont, Xiao Feng, who had remained mostly silent throughout the confrontation, suddenly erupted in panic. His face twisted with fear as he pointed directly at Li Yun.
"This is all your fault, Li Yun. If you had not insisted on coming to this Blood Demon Cave, we would never have encountered the Blood Zombie Young Master."
"Xiao Feng, shut up."
Zhu Xin turned sharply and glared at him, his voice filled with anger. "Do you intend to hasten our deaths by starting internal conflict at a ti like this?"
He continued in a firm tone. "Many fellow disciples are likely rushing here right now. If we can hold on for a while, reinforcents will arrive. No matter how powerful the Blood Zombie Young Master may be, he will not escape death once the others arrive."
"Hold on if you want to," Xiao Feng snapped. "I am not risking my life here with the rest of you."
With that, he clenched his teeth and abruptly turned to flee.
"Trying to escape?"
The Blood Zombie Young Master let out a sinister laugh. "That will not happen."
Two of the crimson light tails extending from his back suddenly lashed forward. They cut through the air like streaks of lightning and shot toward Xiao Feng with terrifying speed.
If Xiao Feng had remained with the group, Zhu Xin might have stepped in to help him. However, Xiao Feng’s decision to abandon his fellow disciples and flee alone was so disgraceful that Zhu Xin felt no desire to save him.
"Not going to save ? You all plan to stand there and watch die? In that case, do not bla for being ruthless."
When Xiao Feng realized that none of the others were moving to block the Blood Zombie Young Master or buy him ti to escape, a vicious expression imdiately twisted across his face. Without hesitation, he raised his hand and struck out with a palm.

It was aid at Fu Ting.

He moved slightly, and the two crimson light tails that had been whipping through the air shifted their trajectories. One of them continued to shoot straight toward Fu Ting, aiming to pierce through her body without rcy.
The other curved around her with a sinister precision. It traced a vicious arc through the air before continuing its relentless strike toward Xiao Feng.
"Damn it."
Zhu Xin and the others saw the situation unfold and their expressions changed drastically. They imdiately prepared to rush forward and rescue Fu Ting. However, the crimson light tail moved with terrifying speed.
They understood that even if they released their Qi at once, it might already be too late. Before their attack could reach the enemy, Fu Ting’s fragile body might already be pierced through and her life extinguished.
A sense of despair rose in Fu Ting’s heart. She slowly closed her eyes as if preparing herself for the worst.

A sharp cracking sound followed.
The wind tiger struck the crimson light tail directly and severed it in an instant.

No one in the group felt any sympathy for Xiao Feng’s miserable fate. Not only had he attempted to flee at the most critical mont, but he had also shalessly used Fu Ting as a human shield in order to save himself.
Such behavior was despicable beyond words. In the eyes of the others, soone like him deserved whatever consequences followed. Even losing a leg was hardly enough to evoke pity, and if he had been killed outright, few would have felt any regret.
Li Yun withdrew his gaze from Xiao Feng’s fallen figure and turned his attention back toward the Blood Zombie Young Master standing in the distance. His expression remained calm as he spoke in an indifferent tone.

The Blood Zombie Young Master’s face twisted with fury when he saw Li Yun’s composed and dismissive attitude.

He roared angrily as the nine crimson light tails extending from his back suddenly shot forward. Each one moved like a long spear tearing through the air, carrying an overwhelming and tyrannical aura.

Fu Ting cried out in alarm.
