While the young woman was still lost in her thoughts about Li Yun, he had already completed the refining process.
The entire process had taken only a few minutes. Even Li Yun himself felt sowhat surprised by the speed at which he had finished.
However the reason quickly beca clear to him. Compared to the last ti he refined Body Tempering Pills, his strength had increased significantly. Because of this improvent, the flas he could control had beco far more powerful and stable, which naturally accelerated the speed of the pill refinent.
’Not bad,’ Li Yun thought to himself with quiet satisfaction.
He then took out a jade bottle and stepped closer to the cauldron. With careful movents he slowly opened the lid of the cauldron halfway. The mont the lid lifted, several pills shot out from inside the cauldron and flew into the air.
Li Yun reacted imdiately. With swift and precise movents he caught each pill and placed them neatly into the jade bottle.
As soon as the last pill was stored away, Li Yun frowned slightly.
’Sothing felt different.’
He could clearly sense that these pills carried a potency that seed sowhat stronger than the perfect grade Body Tempering Pills he had refined in the past.
Still, he did not dwell on the matter for too long. Although the pills seed slightly unusual, he could clearly tell that all of them had reached perfect grade quality, which was exactly the result he had aid for. Since the refinent had succeeded, he felt confident that the elders present, as well as the Pavilion Master of the Alchemy Pavilion, would be impressed.
"I have finished refining the pills," Li Yun said calmly as he presented the jade bottle to Elder Sun.
Elder Sun accepted the jade bottle from Li Yun and examined it briefly in silence.
Just like Li Yun, every elder present during the assessnt had been shocked by the speed at which the pills were refined.
Under normal circumstances, a disciple participating in the One Star Alchemy Assessnt required nearly two hours to successfully refine a batch of Body Tempering Pills. That had always been considered the standard pace for this level of alchemy.
However Li Yun had completed the entire process in only a few minutes.
Such speed was astonishing. Even so of the experienced elders present in the room would not have been able to refine the pills at such a pace. Because of this, the elders found themselves deeply surprised by what they had just witnessed.
Just as Elder Sun was about to inspect the pills inside the jade bottle, a calm but authoritative voice suddenly sounded from the side.
"Bring it here. I will examine the pills myself."
The voice belonged to the solemn old man seated beside the young woman.
Elder Sun imdiately nodded with respect. He walked over and handed the jade bottle to the old man.
Before examining the pills, the old man turned his gaze toward Li Yun.
"I am Chu Tian, the Pavilion Master of the Alchemy Pavilion," he said in a composed voice. "Normally I do not personally inspect pills refined by disciples during these assessnts. However the way you controlled the flas and the speed at which you refined those pills has made rather curious about the quality of your work."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"Your refining process was clean and precise, but it was also sowhat unusual. I have observed many alchemists refine pills throughout my life, yet I have never seen anyone use a thod quite like yours. Your technique is very unique."
Chu Tian looked down at the jade bottle in his hand.
"Because of that, I cannot help but feel curious. Let us see what kind of pills you have produced."
As Pavilion Master Chu finished speaking, the entire hall fell quiet.
Every pair of eyes turned toward the jade bottle in his hand. Even the elders who had maintained calm expressions until now leaned forward slightly. Although they had watched Li Yun’s refining process with interest, none of them truly believed that a young man participating in a one star alchemy assessnt could produce sothing extraordinary.
Pavilion Master Chu slowly removed the cork from the jade bottle.
The mont the seal was broken, a rich dicinal fragrance spread into the air.
A faint glow could be seen inside the bottle.
Pavilion Master Chu’s gaze lowered as he poured the pills gently into his palm. Several round pills rolled out from the jade bottle and rested quietly in his hand. Their surfaces were smooth and flawless, and each one carried a faint luminous sheen that reflected under the light of the hall.
For a brief mont Pavilion Master Chu did not speak.
His eyes remained fixed on the pills as if he could hardly believe what he was seeing.
The elders noticed the strange pause.
One of them frowned slightly and asked, "Pavilion Master Chu, what is the result?"
The young woman who sat among the elders also focused her attention on the pills in Pavilion Master Chu’s palm. She had already been impressed by Li Yun’s fla control during the refining process, yet she still expected the final result to be ordinary at best.
After a few breaths of silence, Pavilion Master Chu finally lifted his head.
A trace of astonishnt could clearly be seen in his expression.
"All of them..." he said slowly.
The elders imdiately leaned forward.
"All of these pills are perfect grade."
For a mont the hall fell completely silent.
Then several elders stood up abruptly from their seats.
"What did you say?"
"Perfect grade pills?"
"That is impossible!"
The young woman’s eyes widened as she looked at the pills again. Her calm expression disappeared completely as disbelief appeared on her face.
Perfect grade pills were extrely rare even among experienced alchemists. Achieving that level required not only precise control of flas but also a profound understanding of dicinal balance.
Yet Li Yun had refined an entire batch of them.
One elder stepped closer and stared at the pills with trembling eyes.
"There are no impurities on their surface," he said quietly. "The dicinal aura is pure and stable. These are indeed perfect grade Body Tempering Pills."
Another elder shook his head in disbelief.
"This was refined during a one star alchemy assessnt..."
"How could soone refine a full batch of perfect grade pills in such a short ti?"
The young woman looked toward Li Yun again. The shock in her eyes had not faded.
She had watched his fla control earlier and realized that he possessed extraordinary talent. However, she had never imagined that the final result would reach such an astonishing level.
