Pavilion Master Chu smiled faintly.
"It seems my suspicions were correct," he said. "I cannot say that I know him personally, but I once had the opportunity to witness him refining pills. At that ti he was already a seven star alchemist. As for his current level, I have no idea how far he has progressed."
He continued speaking while recalling that mory.
"It was because I once saw him refine pills that your fla controlling technique felt sowhat familiar to . After observing you refine several more batches of pills in front of and the elders, I was finally able to confirm it. The technique you used to control the flas is indeed the Double Dragon Fla Controlling Art created by Grandmaster Lin."
"Grandmaster Lin? A seven star alchemist?"
Li Yun was so shocked that his eyes nearly widened out of their sockets.
Seeing his reaction, Pavilion Master Chu was even more surprised.
"You did not know?" he asked with a puzzled expression.
Li Yun smiled helplessly.
"I t Elder Lin a few months ago. At that ti he was impressed with my alchemy talent, so he gave so guidance on improving my alchemical path. He also taught the Double Dragon Fla Controlling Art. It was thanks to his guidance that I managed to refine perfect grade Body Tempering Pills."
He sighed softly before continuing.
"I truly did not know he was a seven star alchemist. I always thought he was just another elder level four star alchemist sowhere in the Southern Martial Domain."
In truth, Li Yun could hardly be blad for his misunderstanding. Elder Lin, whose full na was Lin Shan, served as the Pavilion Master of a small Spirit Pill Pavilion in Pill Fla City. Although Pill Fla City was considered quite large compared to many ordinary cities, it was still insignificant when viewed from the perspective of a powerful force like the Martial Ascension Gate.
Because of this, no one would ever imagine that the pavilion master of such a seemingly ordinary city could actually be a seven star alchemy grandmaster.
"So you were guided by Grandmaster Lin. That explains everything," Pavilion Master Chu said with a satisfied nod.
He did not appear surprised at all by Li Yun’s explanation. In his mind, only soone who had received guidance from a true grandmaster of alchemy could possibly refine pills that contained pill veins.
Pavilion Master Chu continued speaking while looking thoughtfully at Li Yun.
"If I am not mistaken, the true identity of Grandmaster Lin has always been shrouded in mystery. Many alchemists within the Southern Martial Domain believe that he actually cos from the Eastern Martial Domain. There are also so who insist that only the Central Mainland is capable of producing a seven star alchemy grandmaster."
Li Yun listened quietly and nodded inwardly.
To him, this speculation did not sound surprising at all. In truth, it was widely known that only the Eastern Martial Domain or the legendary Central Mainland possessed the resources and environnt necessary to nurture a seven star alchemy grandmaster.
As these thoughts passed through his mind, Li Yun suddenly rembered sothing that made him feel slightly embarrassed.
During his departure with Elder Lin, he had told Su Lan and Su Wan that he would wait to see them again if there was ever a gathering between the four great sects of the Southern Martial Domain. At that ti he had assud they would eventually join one of those sects.
However now that he thought about it more carefully, he realized that Elder Lin most likely intended to send them to a sect located in the Eastern Martial Domain or even the Central Mainland.
Compared to those vast and powerful regions, the Southern Martial Domain was nothing more than a small corner of the world.
"By the way, there is sothing I must warn you about," Pavilion Master Chu said with a serious expression. "You should never display your fla controlling technique in public."
Li Yun looked at him attentively as Chu Tian continued.
"The fla control technique you used is extrely famous in the Southern Martial Domain. If I was able to recognize it, then there are certainly other martial artists and alchemists who would also recognize it. Among them, there will definitely be people who would do anything to obtain such a technique. For your own safety, it would be better if you keep it a secret for the ti being."
Li Yun nodded in agreent. He had never planned to openly reveal his alchemy abilities to the public anyway. Even if the day ca when he did display his skills, he would make sure that the Double Dragon Fla Controlling Art remained hidden from others.
"Very well. I will not take up any more of your ti," Pavilion Master Chu said as he stood up from his seat. "You may leave now. If you ever need anything or encounter trouble within the sect, you can co to . There is very little within the Martial Ascension Gate that lies beyond my reach."
Li Yun smiled slightly before replying.
"I will rember that. In fact, there is already a matter troubling that I hoped Pavilion Master Chu might help with."
"Oh?" Pavilion Master Chu asked with curiosity. "What kind of matter?"
"It is like this," Li Yun began. He then explained the events that had taken place in the Black Wind Desert. While recounting the story, he carefully adjusted a few details so that Pavilion Master Chu would only know what Li Yun intended to reveal.
After hearing the explanation, Pavilion Master Chu laughed.
"Such a small problem," he said dismissively. "You can go ahead and summon your friends to return to the sect. Xiao Fanyun is nothing more than a small ant in my eyes. If he has any sense at all, he will not dare to act against or the Alchemy Pavilion."
"Thank you, Pavilion Master Chu," Li Yun said respectfully as he stood up and bowed deeply. "I am truly grateful for your help."
Pavilion Master Chu waved his hand with a smile.
"There is no need to thank for this. Simply call your friends back to the sect and leave the rest to ."
Li Yun nodded. After bowing once again, he turned around and left the Pavilion Master’s chamber, finally stepping out of the Alchemy Pavilion.
