Hearing the summons from the Heaven Mandate Peak Head, Li Yun nodded respectfully. Without any delay, he imdiately set off toward the Heaven Mandate Hall.
Before long, he arrived inside the hall.
The vast chamber felt quiet and empty. Only the Heaven Mandate Peak Head stood within, his presence calm yet imposing.
"I did not expect that you would possess such talent in alchemy as well," the Peak Head said with a smile. "You have truly given a great surprise. Not only that, you have also brought honor to Heaven Mandate Peak."
"You praise too much, Peak Head," Li Yun replied with a modest smile. He then asked, "May I know the reason you have summoned here?"
"Of course, it is to grant you certain benefits," the Heaven Mandate Peak Head said as he slowly opened his eyes, a faint smile forming on his lips. "The Four Peaks Tournant is about to begin. I have high expectations for you, so it is only natural that I help you improve your cultivation before the tournant starts."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"Have you heard of the treasure land on Heaven Mandate Peak known as the Heavenly Spirit Thunder Pool?"

Li Yun raised an eyebrow slightly when he heard this.
Having spent a considerable amount of ti on Heaven Mandate Peak, he was naturally familiar with this place.
According to legend, Heaven Mandate Peak possessed a unique treasure land known as the Heavenly Spirit Thunder Pool. This thunder pool had a very special property. It could absorb the power of heavenly thunder, and after undergoing transformation within the pool, that power would turn into a unique energy called Heavenly Spirit Thunder Liquid.
This Heavenly Spirit Thunder Liquid was an extrely precious resource. Once absorbed, it could significantly strengthen a martial artist’s physique while also enhancing their cultivation, making it a highly sought after treasure.
There was also another secret associated with this place.

The central region, on the other hand, held a much greater concentration of thunder energy. However, that energy was far more violent. Without at least the strength of the seventh level of the Xiantian Realm, a cultivator would not be able to enter this area safely. Anyone below that level who attempted to cultivate there would likely suffer severe injuries instead of gaining any benefits.
As for the deepest part of the pool, it was the most dangerous region of all. The thunder energy present there was barely transford and remained close to true heavenly thunder in its original form. Its destructive power was overwhelming. Without reaching the peak of the ninth level of the Xiantian Realm, entering that area would almost certainly result in death.
Seeing that Li Yun remained silent, the Heaven Mandate Peak Head smiled faintly.

"Thank you, Peak Head," he said sincerely.
Although the Heavenly Spirit Thunder Pool was extrely dangerous, it was also one of the greatest cultivation grounds available. Li Yun had already experienced the strength of Xiao Fanyun firsthand, and he had been searching for a way to rapidly increase his own power so that he could eventually stand against him.

Li Yun frowned slightly and asked, "Peak Head, what do you an by that?"
"It ans that if you wish to take this position, you must challenge the disciple you are replacing," the Peak Head explained. "If you defeat him, the spot will be yours. However, if you lose, then you will forfeit this opportunity and will have to wait for the next opening of the Heavenly Spirit Thunder Pool, which is expected to be two years from now."
