"Alright, there is no ti to waste," Li Yun muttered to himself before setting off toward Red Cloud County.
The mountain range he had arrived in stretched for dozens of kiloters. Even after traveling for half a day, the terrain around him was still filled with towering peaks and winding ridges. It was not until nightfall that he finally crossed into the region of Red Cloud County.
After venturing deeper into a forest within the county, Li Yun decided to stop for the night. He set up a simple camp and sat beside a small fire, letting the faint warmth ease the fatigue in his body.
"Now that I am here, how am I supposed to find the Sword Master’s legacy?" he murmured, his brows slightly furrowed as he stared into the flickering flas.
Red Cloud County was vast beyond imagination. It contained hundreds of cities, and each one was far larger than Pill Fla City, which he had visited before. Faced with such an enormous region, Li Yun felt montarily at a loss about where to begin.
With no clear direction, he decided to check his mission status once again, hoping that entering Red Cloud County might have revealed sothing new.
A new prompt appeared before his eyes.

"A map?" Li Yun’s eyes lit up with surprise.
He focused on it, and a detailed map imdiately appeared in his vision. He studied it carefully for a mont, his expression gradually turning thoughtful.
"There are two marked locations," he said quietly. "One is relatively close, while the other is much farther away. Even the nearer one will take at least half a day to reach."
After confirming his next course of action, Li Yun extinguished the fire and chose to rest for the night.
Before dawn had fully broken the next morning, he was already on the move.
He headed directly toward the closer mark on the map, intending to investigate it first before making his way to the second location.
Several hours later, Li Yun finally arrived at the place indicated by the first mark.
It was a secluded valley. A clear stream flowed gently through it, and the trees lining both sides were lush and vibrant, giving the entire area a peaceful and almost unnatural sense of tranquility.
Just as Li Yun was thinking that the valley would be a good place to rest, a sharp series of sounds tore through the air.
Three figures suddenly descended into the valley. The first two who landed were clearly injured, their bodies unsteady as fresh blood spilled from their wounds and flowed into the nearby stream, staining the clear water a deep red.
The third figure arrived a mont later. He wore red robes, and a sun-shaped emblem was embroidered across his chest.
"Golden Sun Sect?"
Li Yun’s eyes narrowed slightly. The two injured individuals wore ordinary clothing, making it difficult to identify their background, but the identity of the pursuer was unmistakable.
From what Li Yun knew, the Golden Sun Sect was one of the prominent local forces in Red Cloud County. Although it could not compare to the four great overlords of the Southern Martial Domain, it still held considerable power and influence within the region.
"Han Li, Han Xue, you cannot escape," the red-clad youth said coldly. His expression was grim, and his tone carried an unrestrained killing intent. "When I take action, I never leave without blood."
The young man called Han Li clenched his teeth, anger flashing across his face. "Mo Tian, if you had not relied on poison, do you think I would fear you?"
In terms of strength, he was not weaker than his opponent. However, he had not expected Mo Tian to resort to such underhanded thods. When the poisonous dicinal pill exploded earlier, both he and his younger sister, Han Xue, had been caught off guard and poisoned.
Mo Tian let out a cold laugh. "The winner writes the rules, and the loser has no right to complain. What use are these words now?"
High above them, hidden within the branches of a large tree, Li Yun observed the situation quietly. A trace of hesitation appeared in his eyes.
"Should I intervene?"
He could clearly sense that Mo Tian’s cultivation had reached the eighth level of the Qi Sea Realm. His aura was steady and oppressive, revealing formidable strength.
At the sa ti, the na "Mo" stirred an unpleasant mory in Li Yun’s mind. It reminded him of Mo Xuanyu, and a faint coldness flickered across his gaze.
"You can only bla your surna for this," Li Yun thought calmly as he made his decision.
Mo Tian appeared to be around thirty years old, while Han Li seed to be in his mid-twenties. From Han Li’s earlier words, it was clear that he had once been evenly matched with Mo Tian, which ant he was likely a core figure within his own sect.
At that mont, Mo Tian moved.
The instant he acted, it was with lethal intent. Several strands of silver light shot forward, weaving together as they surged toward Han Li like deadly ribbons.
Han Li wielded a six-foot-long iron staff. With a roar, he swung it with all his strength, shattering the incoming silver light. However, the force behind the attack still struck him hard.
A mouthful of blood burst from his lips as his body was thrown backward, crashing through the air in a helpless arc.
Just as Mo Tian was about to deliver the final blow to Han Li, a streak of sword qi suddenly tore through the air from nowhere and struck him squarely in the back.
A heavy explosion rang out.
Mo Tian’s body was sent flying as if struck by a mountain. He crashed violently into a tree, the impact splintering the trunk. Caught completely off guard, he suffered a devastating injury.
A deep, grueso wound stretched across his back, blood pouring out uncontrollably. He could not even move, and it was clear that if nothing was done, he would bleed to death within minutes.
Struggling to lift his head, Mo Tian looked ahead with unwillingness and disbelief. His gaze locked onto the figure that had appeared before him without warning.
It was Li Yun.
However, Li Yun showed no hesitation or rcy. With a calm and decisive motion, he ended Mo Tian’s life completely.
