Dozens of light orbs floated within the grand hall, drifting like living beings. Each one seed to possess a will of its own. Whenever Mu Lan and the others drew near, the orbs would imdiately scatter, darting away as if avoiding capture.

Noticing Li Yun and the other two had arrived, Mu Lan and her companions paid them no attention. Their focus remained fixed on the light orbs. In their minds, there was only one goal, which was to seize an inheritance before anyone else could.

It was easy to imagine the value of these inheritances. Any martial art or secret technique capable of manifesting in such a form would undoubtedly be extraordinary. They were likely comparable to the highest true transmissions within their respective sects, techniques that were far beyond what they could currently access.

For them, this place was an opportunity, a rare chance to strengthen themselves.

"I like that crystal-clear one."

Han Xue spoke as she stepped forward, her figure flashing as she joined the pursuit of the drifting lights.

"This white one looks promising."

Han Li scanned the hall briefly before locking onto his target.

At this mont, no one knew what each light orb contained. They could only rely on instinct and intuition when making their choice.

Li Yun, however, did not move imdiately.

The light orbs differed slightly in color, and each one carried a faint but distinct aura. Others might not notice these subtle differences, but Li Yun could sense them clearly. His 5th tier soul perception allowed him to perceive details that most would overlook.

He stood still, calmly observing.

One by one, he examined the dozens of light orbs, carefully feeling the aura each one emitted.

Ti passed.

At last, his gaze settled on a golden orb.

Unlike the others, this golden light seed proud and domineering, like a monarch among subjects. The surrounding orbs kept their distance, as if instinctively wary of approaching it.

A faint realization stirred within him.

"This aura... it carries traces of sword intent."

Li Yun’s eyes lit up.

"Could this be connected to the Sword Master’s legacy?"

Without hesitation, he took out the sword token he had obtained earlier.

The mont the token appeared in his hand, the golden light orb trembled slightly, as if responding to its presence. In the next instant, it shot forward, turning into a streak of golden brilliance before rging directly into the sword token.

"Is that it? Did I really obtain the Sword Master’s legacy so easily?"

A faint smile appeared on Li Yun’s face, but it quickly turned into a wry expression. He understood that things had only seed simple on the surface. Without the sword token, he knew he would never have been able to obtain that golden light, no matter how much effort he put in.

Soon, a system notification appeared in his vision, indicating that the quest had been completed. Li Yun chose to ignore it for the mont and instead observed the situation around him.

The others were still chasing the light orbs.

It was clear that the difficulty of capturing these orbs varied from person to person.

Shi Mo, Wu Lin, and Han Xue struggled the most. Each ti they ca close, the orbs would slip away at the last mont, always just beyond their grasp.

Han Li was doing slightly better.

Mu Lan followed after him, her movents more refined and precise.

And then there was Li Yun.

To a certain extent, one’s ability to capture a light orb seed tied to their innate talent and potential. The stronger the talent, the sharper the intuition when choosing an inheritance.

Mu Lan had set her sights on a cyan light orb. It carried an aura of pride and dominance, second only to the golden one Li Yun had obtained.

"Haha, I’ve got it!"

Shi Mo was the first to succeed. The mont he grasped the orb, it dissolved into a stream of light and rged into his body. Instantly, he froze in place, as though he had entered a deep state of ditation.

"Let see how you escape now!"

Wu Lin soon followed, catching his own target. Like Shi Mo, he also beca motionless as the inheritance rged with him.

Shortly after, Han Xue captured the crystal-clear orb she had been chasing.

In a brief span of ti, only Han Li and Mu Lan remained without an inheritance.

Li Yun glanced around at the remaining light orbs.

"Let see if there is anything else suitable for ."

His left eye began to glow with a faint purple light as he activated his perception and examined each orb carefully.

However, after a thorough inspection, he frowned slightly.

He could not detect any difference between them. Even with his divine eye, every remaining orb appeared identical.

"These light orbs are very different from the ones in the Soaring Cloud Secret Realm."

Li Yun muttered to himself.

"I cannot see through them at all, even with my divine eye."

Realizing that his divine eye was of no use in this place, Li Yun shifted his focus back to his 5th tier soul perception and began carefully sensing the remaining light orbs.

After a few monts, his gaze sharpened.

Among the drifting lights, he noticed a deep purple orb radiating an intense and mysterious glow. It stood out clearly from the rest, carrying an aura that felt both powerful and elusive.

Without hesitation, Li Yun activated his Raging Wind Tiger Art. His figure blurred as he shot forward, closing the distance in an instant. However, just as he approached, the purple light orb flickered and slipped away from him.

Li Yun did not stop.

He pursued it again, accelerating even faster this ti, yet the result remained the sa. The mont he drew close, the orb darted away as if it had anticipated his movent.

Again and again, he tried.

Each attempt ended in failure.

No matter how precise or swift his movents were, the purple light orb always escaped at the last mont, maintaining an unreachable distance.

A deep frown ford on Li Yun’s face as he slowed down.

He realized that chasing it directly was useless.

Standing still, he began to think.

"If I cannot catch it by force, then I will make it co to ."

A new idea surfaced in his mind.

Li Yun released his aura.

Of course, he had no intention of using it to intimidate the purple light orb. That would have been aningless. The orb carried an arrogant presence, similar to the golden one he had already obtained. Even the aura of an Essence Qi Realm expert might not be enough to suppress it.

What Li Yun truly intended to use was not his aura, but his spirit soul.

His spirit soul had already reached the 5th tier. Since he could sense the quality of these inheritances through his perception, he believed that he could also draw them closer using the sa essence.

Slowly and carefully, he extended his spirit soul toward the purple light orb, making sure not to disturb the other orbs around him.

At a distance, Mu Lan noticed his actions.

A thoughtful expression flickered in her eyes, but she chose to remain silent and continue observing.

Then, sothing changed.

The purple light orb trembled slightly, as if reacting to Li Yun’s presence. Gradually, it began to drift toward him, drawn by the subtle pull of his spirit soul.
