"A nine extres magnetic origin fruit? That is an incredible treasure. With it, one can step into the Half Step Xiantian Realm."
After hearing the news from Ming Yun, Li Yun’s eyes narrowed slightly, and a faint, confident smile appeared at the corner of his lips.
In the next instant, he did not hesitate. His figure flickered, and he shot toward the eastern region of the Eternal Sky Secret Realm like a bolt of lightning.
"Ming Yun truly did not deceive ."
Sure enough, after flying roughly two hundred li to the east, Li Yun lifted his gaze and saw a towering mountain rising abruptly from the vast, flat land ahead. The mountain pierced straight into the clouds, and waves of imposing aura rolled outward without pause.
At the foot of the mountain stood a tall gray stone stele, upon which four bold characters were carved with forceful strokes: Eternal Sky dicine Garden.
"This must be the dicine garden that contains the nine extres magnetic origin fruit. But why are none of these people going inside?"
After landing near the mountain, Li Yun did not rush forward recklessly. Instead, he paused to observe his surroundings. When he noticed several groups of young cultivators lingering around the periter rather than entering the garden, all of them wearing guarded expressions, his brows drew together slightly.
"Is there so kind of danger within this dicine garden?"
The thought crossed his mind, yet he did not dwell on it for long. Confidence born of strength surged within him. With a swift motion, he charged straight into the Eternal Sky dicine Garden.
"Heh, look at that. Another fool rushing in without even checking the situation. Even if he dies, he probably will not know how it happened."
"This one will likely end up being swallowed whole by that monster, just like those unlucky fellows before him."
"I hope he is a bit stronger and can fight that monster for a while. If both sides are badly injured, we might finally have a chance to seize the nine extres magnetic origin fruit."
"Well said."
As Li Yun disappeared into the depths of the Eternal Sky dicine Garden, the surrounding young cultivators were briefly stunned. Monts later, mocking laughter and gloating sneers spread among them, with several already harboring thoughts of profiting from the clash they believed was about to unfold.
"As expected of a dicine garden left behind by the ancient Soaring Cloud Sect. Its scale is astonishing, and there are spirit dicines everywhere. Unfortunately, most of them have long since lost their spiritual essence. They may still be called spirit dicine, but in truth, they are no different from ordinary weeds."
The dicine garden sprawled across more than ten acres, with plots of land filled with all manner of spirit herbs. The mont Li Yun stepped inside and took in the scene, he could not help but feel a sense of awe. That feeling, however, faded almost imdiately, replaced by a faint curl of his lips.
This place had clearly been abandoned for far too long. Many of the spirit dicines had withered away, while others had completely lost their spiritual essence, rendering them utterly useless.
Since these herbs no longer held any value, Li Yun paid them no further attention and continued deeper into the dicine garden.
Whoosh.
After walking several hundred ters, a powerful surge of spiritual qi suddenly rolled toward him from the front.
"Such dense fluctuations of qi. This cannot be anything ordinary."
Li Yun ca to a halt, a trace of surprise flashing across his face as he lifted his gaze.
Ahead of him stood a towering tree, seven or eight ters tall, its entire body a vibrant erald green. Its branches and leaves were lush and thriving. At the very top of the canopy, suspended about a ter above the crown, a single fruit slowly revolved in place.
The great tree continuously absorbed energy from deep within the earth, refined it within its trunk, and then released it through its canopy as countless specks of light. Those lights converged upon the fruit, endlessly nourishing it and causing it to grow ever more vigorous.
The fruit itself was about the size of a baby’s fist and entirely silver gray. Nine intricate spiritual patterns were interwoven across its surface, and a subtle yet powerful magnetic field radiated from it. The surrounding air twisted faintly under its influence, as though the fruit existed half a step removed from this world.
It was an astonishing sight.
"This must be the nine extres magnetic origin fruit. It naturally possesses a unique magnetic field. After consumption, that magnetic force can temper a martial artist’s bones, muscles, and internal organs. On top of that, it contains an imnse amount of heaven and earth spiritual qi, enough to push one into the Half Step Xiantian Realm."
Li Yun gazed at the silver fruit with burning intensity, stepped forward, and reached out, ready to pluck it from the air.
Rumble.
Just as Li Yun had taken five or six steps forward, the dark soil beneath his feet suddenly shook with violent force.
"Danger!"
Even before entering the dicine garden, Li Yun had sensed that sothing was off, so he had remained on guard from the very first mont. Although the change ca without warning, he reacted instantly, clearly sensing a terrifying power surging up from beneath the ground and striking toward him.
Without the slightest hesitation, Li Yun shifted his position in a single step, retreating more than twenty ters.
Bang.
A heavy roar echoed as an enormous gray tail, thick and imnsely powerful, burst through the soil. A sharp spike protruded from its tip, carrying a force capable of easily killing a Xiantian Realm First Level cultivator. The tail pierced straight through the earth, sending mud and sand exploding upward like a raging tide.
However, Li Yun had already evaded the strike.
The creature beneath the ground seed to realize that its attack had failed. With a swift motion, the gray tail flicked and withdrew back into the earth, vanishing without a trace.
From the mont it launched its ambush to the instant it retreated underground, less than a breath had passed. The speed was terrifying, almost like a flash of lightning. Even Li Yun had not clearly seen what had attacked him.
Standing atop a boulder, Li Yun fixed his gaze on the dark soil below, his expression filled with caution.
Although he still could not identify the attacker, one thing was certain. It was an extrely powerful existence. Even a cultivator at the early stage of the Xiantian Realm First Level would struggle to face it head-on.
No wonder those young talents, despite knowing that the nine extres magnetic origin fruit was here, did not dare to enter recklessly.
That creature’s strength clearly lay in its ability to conceal itself underground and launch lightning-fast ambushes. If it could be forced into the open, dealing with it would likely beco far easier.
Unfortunately, even for a powerful Xiantian Realm cultivator, driving such a creature out would be no simple task. The earth itself interfered heavily with perception. Under normal circumstances, a cultivator who could sense a hundred-ter radius above ground might barely reach thirty ters once their perception extended underground.
Li Yun, however, was different.
His spirit soul had already reached the third tier, the Yellow Soul stage, and his perception far surpassed that of ordinary Martial Artists at the sa realm. In this regard, he could even rival an expert at the fifth level of the Xiantian Realm.
"Trying to play hide-and-seek with is a joke."
A cold smile appeared on Li Yun’s lips. His expression remained calm, yet his left eye suddenly blood with a deep purple glow.
In the next instant, Li Yun clearly locked onto a rapidly moving figure beneath the ground. His voice rang out, sharp and commanding. "Stop hiding. Co out!"
Rumble.
As his words fell, Li Yun struck decisively, unleashing his low grade profound rank martial art, Dominant Thunder Palm. A massive lightning palm ford in mid-air, crackling with violent power, before slamming down onto the dark earth below. A thunderous explosion followed as that section of ground was blasted open, collapsing twenty to thirty ters deep in an instant.
"Holy crap!"
"What kind of background does this kid have? That attack power is insane!"
"This dicine garden soil was reinforced by the Soaring Cloud Sect. It looks like ordinary earth, but it’s harder than tal. Even with full strength, most of us could barely blast ten ters deep, yet he casually shattered more than twice that depth!"
"This guy has to be one of the top powerhouses on the New Disciples Ranking!"
The young talents who had followed Li Yun into the dicine garden with thoughts of taking advantage were instantly filled with fear. A chill ran from their feet straight to their heads. Targeting soone of this level was nothing short of courting death.
"Luckily, I didn’t make a move."
Many of them silently rejoiced.
Li Yun ignored their shocked reactions. The enormous lightning palm that had plunged into the earth had already seized its target. His eyes sharpened as he adjusted his hand. The lightning palm clenched tightly, surging with power, then yanked upward with brutal force.
Boom.
A massive figure was forcibly torn from beneath the ground and hurled into the open. Its enormous body slamd onto the surface, shaking the entire mountain. It slid across the dark soil for dozens of ters, carving a deep trail, before finally grinding to a halt.
"This is..."
"An Earth Scorpion Tiger!"
The surrounding young talents gasped in unison as they recognized the creature, their expressions filled with shock and disbelief.
The enormous beast asured nearly ten ters in length. Its body was grayish brown and covered in bizarre, interwoven patterns. In shape it resembled a tiger, yet extending from its rear was a scorpion’s tail, thick and nacing. At the tip of that tail was a sharp stinger glowing with a faint blue light, radiating an intensely ferocious aura.
It was obvious at a glance that the stinger was not only lethally sharp, but also imbued with terrifying poison.
This creature was none other than a fourth-tier, third-level Vicious Beast whose combat strength rivaled that of a Xiantian Realm second level expert. It was the infamous Earth Scorpion Tiger.
"Roar!"
Dragged violently from beneath the ground, the Earth Scorpion Tiger was instantly driven into a frenzy. Its blood-red eyes locked onto Li Yun as it released an enraged roar. The scorpion tail behind it lashed out like a venomous serpent bursting from its lair, tracing a vicious arc through the air before shooting straight toward Li Yun’s throat at blinding speed.
Whoosh, whoosh.
As the tail pierced forward, the stinger at its tip flared with an eerie blue glow. Drops of blue liquid dripped continuously from it, splashing onto the ground below. Wherever the liquid touched, the earth was instantly corroded, eaten through as green fus rose into the air, creating a chilling and horrifying sight.
The poison was so potent that even a Xiantian Realm second level expert would likely perish on the spot upon contact.
