“My information,” Zuo He said with a grin, “is worth every bit of it.”

“Then I’ll take my leave,” Ye Haochuan said, turning toward the door. Just as he reached the threshold, he turned back and added, “I hope, elder, that you aren’t trying to swindle . If so… I’ll be back.”
