After saying this, Zhu Wenjing abruptly hung up with a smack.

As he spoke, he tried grabbing the phone but realized Zhu Wenjing had already hung up.
Enraged, he dialed a number and bellowed into the receiver, “Old Six, get to Beichen Avenue! Soone’s bullying our Jing Girl!”
From the other end ca a loud bang, followed by the disconnected beep-beep sound.
Zhu Huacheng and Liu Jing exchanged bitter smiles. Things were getting out of hand…
The police car carrying Ye Haochuan and Zhu Wenjing quickly arrived at Beicheng Police Station.
Officer Zhang pointed with his chin at Officer Li and said, “Old Li, you take this guy for the statent. I’ll take the driver to do their statent over there.”
Officer Li grinned knowingly, “Alright, leave it to .”
Ye Haochuan gave Officer Zhang a mocking look and grinned slyly, “Are you really sure you want to take her alone for her statent?”
Officer Zhang retorted with irritation, “Shut the hell up. Old Li, take him away.”
Then, with a mischievous laugh, Officer Zhang led Zhu Wenjing away.
Ye Haochuan had sensed it earlier—Officer Zhang lacked any power or strength, just an ordinary person.

Seeing Ye Haochuan’s malicious grin, Officer Li delivered him a swift kick.
