“Nonsense! We could never take your things! If you don’t believe , search us!” The man beside Tie Feng was furious and hastily extended his Storage Ring.
Tie Feng quickly grabbed the ring and hissed in a low voice, “Idiot! If you hand it over, we’re finished!”
The ring contained too many incriminating items, especially those tied to the Liu Family, enough to reveal that they were affiliated with them.
In truth, even admitting their Liu Family affiliation wasn’t necessarily problematic.
However, seeing Ye Haochuan’s fearless, shaless attitude, if he dragged the Liu Family into this, there was no telling what kind of mud he might sling their way.

Ye Haochuan cast an appreciative glance at Langfan. This kid truly had a knack for bluffing; he deserved so focused training in the future.
Tie Feng was now truly embarrassed. He dared not escalate matters any further, realizing he was hardly in the right.
Initially, he thought his strength alone could dominate the situation, but who could have predicted Ye Haochuan’s power trumped his own? Now, he couldn’t even muster the courage to argue back.
“Alliance Master Ye, there must be so misunderstanding. My n couldn’t possibly have taken your items!”
“You think saying you didn’t take them is enough? I bet it was you ordering them to do so!” Langfan aggressively fired back.
“You…” Tie Feng was stunned into anger, but when he glanced at Ye Haochuan, he found him calm and composed, silently staring at him. This reignited Tie Feng’s fury, and he growled in a deep voice, “Ye Haochuan, don’t push things too far!”
Ye Haochuan didn’t respond directly, instead smirking wickedly, “Everyone makes mistakes; what matters is whether they are willing to repent. Brother Tie Feng, stealing is wrong—just return our Long Alliance’s items and we can still be friends. What do you say?”
Friends? Since when were we ever friends?
Tie Feng was raging inside, his murderous intent evident in his gaze.
Ye Haochuan noticed but shook his head, sighing, “Ah, what a promising young man, but so unwilling to adapt! Seems we’ll have to call the Inspection Group, Brother Tie Feng. Don’t bla for this!”
“You…” Tie Feng was so furious he nearly spat blood, but the ntion of the Inspection Group triggered a wave of panic in his heart.

Tie Feng finally saw through Ye Haochuan’s ga. The man was determined to wrest the Ascension Formation from him at all costs.
