Outside was a small garden. Sophia walked to its center and lifted a giant stone, revealing a sewer manhole in front of Ye Haochuan.
They opened the manhole and jumped inside without hesitation.
Though Ye Haochuan didn’t want to admit it, the foreign sewer system was indeed well-built. While there was a strong stench, it was passable for passage.
Ye Haochuan hadn’t expected he’d ever escape through a sewer. But truth be told, it was an ideal escape route.
