Elder ng heard Senior Feng’s words and instantly understood his aning. Before Senior Feng could speak, he coldly snorted and said: "Ye Hao, the city can wait, but you must accompany us to the Endless Clouds. Otherwise, I’ll kill you first, then slaughter your Xuann clean!"
Elder ng sneered, the broadsword in his hand also shining brightly. He secretly employed the ng Family’s Eighteen Steps of Blades, fully prepared to strike at the slightest disagreent.
"Do you think you have that ability?"
Ye Hao squinted his eyes, exuding a threatening aura from every part of his body, and a long spear appeared in his hand in an instant.
"Humph!"
Upon hearing Ye Hao’s words, Elder ng flew into a rage, swinging his broadsword violently, sending a dazzling specter flying toward Ye Hao.
"Heavenly Eye, Sky-Burning!"
Ye Hao watched the incoming specter with a cold smile on his lips, and two golden halos shot out of his eyes. The dazzling specter then transford into a puff of fireworks.
Ye Haochuan watched the fireworks in front of him, his heart tightened suddenly. Elder ng’s attack had already reached the Nascent Soul Peak, and if Ye Hao hadn’t acted, he might have faced dire consequences.
"Elder ng, it seems your cultivation hasn’t improved? Have you been enjoying life all these years?"
After shattering the attack, Ye Hao gave Elder ng, whose expression flickered, a mocking glance without rcy.
"Ye Hao, do you believe I can chop him with a single strike?"
Elder ng was not afraid in the slightest, and the majestic aura suddenly pressed toward Ye Haochuan as the broadsword in his hand began to flicker again.
The ng Family’s Eighteen Steps of Blades grew stronger with each swing, so even though Ye Hao easily shattered his first strike, he felt no fear.
"What, still unconvinced? How about we fight it out?"
Ye Hao’s smile was warm, but his words conveyed an imposing aura, suggesting they had not truly tested their strengths against each other.
"You think I’m afraid of you?"
Elder ng shouted, and the broadsword in his hand flashed a beam of light, which quickly slashed towards Ye Hao.
"Young Chap ng, that’s enough!"
At this mont, Senior Feng flashed between Ye Hao and Elder ng. Without any visible action, Elder ng’s attack dissipated into nothingness.
Senior Feng was the oldest among the Secret Realm’s old monsters, holding a high position even when Elder ng was just a child. Coupled with the Feng Family’s unrivaled formation heritage, Elder ng fell silent when Senior Feng intervened, and the light on his broadsword gradually dimd.
"Ye Hao, entering the Endless Clouds is far more critical than settling in a city. If you refuse, we may end up in a relentless battle."
After stopping Elder ng, Senior Feng looked at Ye Hao. Though his expression was calm, his words were decisive, and his aura continuously intensified.
"I’d like to ask, why must I enter the Endless Clouds?"
Ye Hao wasn’t unreasonable; it was Elder ng’s disrespectful approach that forced the conflict. The Endless Clouds were perilous, especially now that unkillable exotic beasts road the Secret Realm, making entry even more treacherous. Ye Hao didn’t understand why Elder Feng insisted he enter.
"The stele at the Secret Realm’s barrier records that the Endless Clouds holds the Formation Atlas. With it, we can repair the formation and reseal those monsters!"
Senior Feng explained slowly and deliberately. By the end, he appeared sowhat excited.
"I see!"
Ye Hao fell silent after hearing this. The implications were imnse, and refusal could have severe consequences, so he had to consider it carefully.
"Ye Hao, you know the Endless Clouds. Without your Heavenly Eye, we’d be lost trying to find the way. If we can’t enter, we won’t obtain the Formation Atlas, nor can we repair the seal..."
The old monster Ku Ziruo from the Ku Family also wore a grave expression, explaining the situation’s pros and cons to Ye Hao. He was anxious; sealing those beasts sooner ant returning ho sooner.
"Fine, I agree!"
Ye Hao looked at Senior Feng, then at Chu Sanxiao, Ku Ziruo, and the others in the Secret Realm, finally nodding firmly.
Upon his decision, the tense expressions of the old monsters in the Secret Realm eased.
"I disagree!" Yang Sen suddenly exclaid harshly.
Ye Hao was the first of Xuann, and his safety in the Secret Realm was of utmost importance.
"Brother Yang, my mind is made up. No need to say more."
Ye Hao turned to Yang Sen, conversed with him, using ans only they understood, while outsiders remained unaware of their discussion.
"Sigh..."
After a while, Yang Sen raised his head, glanced at the Secret Realm’s people, then at Ye Haochuan, before turning to Ye Hao with a helpless sigh.
"Brother Yang, if anything happens to , I entrust Xuann to you."
Seeing Yang Sen no longer object, Ye Hao solemnly patted his shoulder, speaking earnestly.
"Brother Ye, be careful..."
Yang Sen shook his head in resignation, knowing it was all he could do.
"Haha..."
The Secret Realm’s people couldn’t help but smile again, surprised at how easily Ye Hao settled matters with Xuann.
"Grandfather, I’ll go with you."
Ye Haochuan approached Ye Hao, speaking with firm resolve.
"Nonsense, Haochuan, I’ll handle this. Why join the chaos?"
Ye Hao grew tense at Ye Haochuan’s words. Ye Haochuan was the future hope of Xuann, and the Secret Realm now was a land of crises.
If Ye Haochuan entered and faced unforeseen dangers, Xuann’s future would be at risk, not to ntion the Secret Realm’s people’s silent resentnt towards him.
The Secret Realm journey would be fraught with challenges and threats. If these people played tricks in danger, Ye Haochuan might fall into peril.
If Ye Haochuan faced any harm, how would he cope, and to whom could he entrust Xuann’s future?
