If, at crucial monts, mutants turned into Skeleton Monsters or the Tentacled Skeleton Beast described on the Stele yet unseen, they could be controlled imdiately.
Soon, the mutants ford a squad, closely following Senior Feng and others, with the rest trailing behind.

Setting off again, after traveling a short distance, they encountered a Skeleton Monster, a giant creature about three ters tall.
These beings had elongated skeletal necks, each ending with three circular skull heads looking in different directions.
The other end of their skeletal necks was buried deep underground, concealing their body structure from view.
