"Damn it... With my cultivation, I still manage to get drunk..."
Early in the morning, Ye Haochuan got up, rubbed his aching head, and circulated the Longevity True Qi within him, dissipating the feeling of a hangover.
Suddenly, as if rembering sothing, he reached out and took out an antique tortoiseshell, turning it over and examining it for a long ti, but to no avail.
With no leads, Ye Haochuan had to put it back into his storage ring. Then he climbed out of bed, washed up, and opened his door to step outside.
"Young Master, soone ca looking for you last night."
A mber of the Ye Family, seeing Ye Haochuan co out, quickly stepped forward with great respect to report to him.
Only after listening to his report did Ye Haochuan realize that Zi ngqi had co looking for him the previous night, but because he was drunk, he hadn’t noticed.
"Thank you for your hard work."
Ye Haochuan smiled politely at the Ye Family mber, who imdiately beca so excited that he could hardly speak coherently, only managing to say it was his duty.
"Hey, ngqi, what did you need for?"
After that Long Alliance mber left, Ye Haochuan took out his phone and called Zi ngqi, but it took a long while for the call to be answered.
"Haochuan... ngqi isn’t here. She went out last night, saying she had sothing to do..."
Huo ngyao’s lodious voice ca from the other end, and Ye Haochuan finally realized that Zi ngqi had left without her phone.
Ye Haochuan chatted with Huo ngyao for a while longer but found she knew nothing more. After so banter, he finally hung up.
"The whole world is under Xuann’s control now, so I don’t need to worry about ngqi’s safety. But what exactly is that girl up to?"
After hanging up, Ye Haochuan stood at the room’s door, pondering for a mont before turning and heading to Ye Hao’s room to inquire about the River Map Luo Book.
"Haochuan!"
Just as Ye Haochuan was walking out, he saw Long Keyue coming his way. Seeing him, she rushed over joyfully.
"Hehe, Keyue, wife, I’ve missed you to death!"
Ye Haochuan shalessly hugged Long Keyue tight and aid for her luscious red lips.
"Get away, you rascal!"
Blushing fiercely, Long Keyue shyly pushed Ye Haochuan away. Though they were in a relationship, the two hadn’t been intimate yet, so she was still a bit reserved.
"Haochuan, do you have ti? Let’s go for a walk!"
Although she refused Ye Haochuan’s kiss, her hand clung tightly to his, unwilling to let go.
"Sure, where do you want to go?"
Ye Haochuan wasn’t disappointed by the missed kiss; there’d be plenty of chances, and he wasn’t afraid she’d run off.
"I don’t really know. What do you think?"
Long Keyue scratched her head and stuck out her tongue.
"Hehe..."
Ye Haochuan lightly tapped Long Keyue’s head, giggling and joking with her, before saying, "I just wanted to ask Grandpa if the River Map has been found. Do you want to co?"
"Mmm, everyone in the world is looking for that River Map, but no one’s found it yet. No one knows where it’s hidden."
Long Keyue nodded gently, her delicate brows furrowed slightly. Their Long Family’s ancestor, Long Yin, was deeply invested in this matter and spent all his ti on it.
"Yeah."
Ye Haochuan also furrowed his brows, lost in thought. His eyes seed unfocused as he said, "I’ve been wondering if the River Map and Luo Book are related. But after studying for so long, I found nothing."
"Hmm..."
Long Keyue chuckled softly, comforting him, "Haochuan, you look just like our ancestor when you talk about the River Map. It’s like you’ve lost your soul."
"Hmm, Keyue, what did you say?"
Ye Haochuan suddenly stopped mid-action, a bright light bursting from his eyes, shockingly intense.
"I said you look like you’ve lost your soul when talking about the River Map..."
Long Keyue hadn’t noticed Ye Haochuan’s strange behavior, the daylight’s brightness overshadowing the gleam in his eyes.
"Hehe, soul, how did I not think of that before?"
With a peculiar grin, Ye Haochuan lightly kissed Long Keyue and laughed, "Keyue, wife, protect . I’ll try sensing the River Map."
After saying this, Ye Haochuan took out an antique tortoiseshell, sat down cross-legged, and projected his soul, carefully sensing the antique tortoiseshell.
This ti, Long Keyue couldn’t dodge. She was so embarrassed her ears turned crimson, but the feeling was delightful, leaving her nostalgic and full of fantasy.
"Strange?"
When Ye Haochuan’s soul entered the tortoiseshell, he sensed a faint connection between the tortoiseshell and two entities.
However, the connection was very weak. Even with his full effort, Ye Haochuan could only perceive a very slight connection.
Thus, Ye Haochuan decided to let his soul enter the antique tortoiseshell to see if it would beco clearer.
"What’s wrong?"
Long Keyue saw Ye Haochuan suddenly open his eyes and asked curiously, but before she could finish, Ye Haochuan collapsed onto the ground.
"Really, if you’re going to use the Ghost Escape Technique, at least tell first!"
Long Keyue pouted, propping up Ye Haochuan’s body and brushing off so imaginary dust from him.
"This... This is incredible!"
When Ye Haochuan’s soul entered the Luo Book, he discovered streams of clear light constructing a magical world within it.
In this world, all sorts of shadowy creatures filled the space, entangled with countless ethereal threads. Every move of these creatures caused changes in the threads entwined on them.
These ethereal threads weren’t independent but connected to other creatures. Any change in a creature’s threads would affect the threads on other creatures.
When Ye Haochuan entered, he saw a creature’s ethereal threads suddenly vibrate intensely, and then the creature’s shadow vanished.
The creature’s threads started fluctuating wildly, and Ye Haochuan saw so of the ethereal threads propagating to other creatures, causing their shadows to vanish as well.
All of this amazed Ye Haochuan. But just as he was about to observe closely with curiosity, all the shadows vanished.
Replaced by profound darkness, two faintly glowing points of light flickered in the dark. The aura from these points imdiately made Ye Haochuan understand what they represented.
