Now reading: Chapter 328 - 328 328 from Invincible Over the World, a Eastern novel by God Sees.

328: 328 328: 328 The robed elder looked at the bloodied Lu Kai in front of him and burst into laughter, his grin sowhat grueso, “Kid, you’ve got quite the nerve, thinking of chopping up to feed to the dogs?

With you in your current state?” His voice was filled with mockery.

Lu Kai’s eyes bloodshot, he gazed at the other man and said coldly, “He Hui, you mangy cur, you’d better kill now!”

The robed elder He Hui chuckled, “Don’t worry, tomorrow we will take you to the Imperial City Main Gate Square for beheading!

This is your last night, so savor the night sky while you can.” Saying this, he looked towards the window and smiled, “The night sky isn’t too bad tonight.”

Faint moonlight shone through the prison cell’s iron bars, illuminating the ground, casting a hazy glow.

Just then, the prison cell door was opened, and a young man clad in a dragon robe walked in, followed by four Imperial Palace Guards.

This young man bore so resemblance to Lu Kai.

Seeing the young man enter, Lu Kai’s eyes brimd with bloodthirsty hatred, and if looks could kill, the young man would have been flayed a thousand tis over by now.

The young man walked in, saw the murderous look in Lu Kai’s eyes, but was unconcerned, and approached the robed elder, addressing him as, “Brother He.”

He Hui nodded.

Only then did the young man turn to Lu Kai and said indifferently, “Big brother, have you gotten used to these past few days in here?” As he spoke, he scanned the cell, noticing in the corners various bloody torture instrunts and other assorted items, a foul stench faintly wafting through the air.

“Big brother?”Lu Kai looked up to the heavens with a bitter laugh, his eyes blood red, “Who’s your brother!

Lu Jing, do you think you can claim the throne of the kingdom just because I die?!”

The young man was, in fact, Lu Kai’s brother, Lu Jing.

Lu Jing smiled, “Your prince’s identity has already been stripped.

I am now the Prince of the Luotong Kingdom, and in a few years, I will ascend to the kingdom’s throne.

Sadly, by then you won’t be able to see it!” Then, with a wave of his hand, one of the guards ca forward with a food container and respectfully offered it to Lu Jing.

Lu Jing opened the container and inside were several dishes, complete with color, aroma, and flavor.

Next to the dishes, there was also a pot of wine.

Lu Jing said, “Don’t say I am an unsympathetic brother; these are your favorite dishes, and your favorite Snow Moon Wine.

Of course, you must know that this is your last al in this world.”

Lu Kai looked coldly at his brother Lu Jing, “In that case, I suppose I should thank you.”

With an indifferent face, Lu Jing replied, “No thanks necessary, we’re all family here, no need to stand on ceremony.” After speaking, he instructed the guards behind him, “Unchain him.”

By now, Lu Kai’s Qi Sea had been destroyed, ridians completely severed, leaving him a cripple with no concern of him running away.

The guard respectfully agreed, then stepped forward to release Lu Kai from his shackles.

“Don’t even think about running away; it would only cause you more trouble,” said Lu Jing.

“Enjoy your last al.

Brother He, let’s go.” With that, he left with the guards.

He Hui glanced at Lu Kai then followed behind Lu Jing, leaving the cell and locking the door behind them.

Lu Kai, with his hands and feet unchained, sat down on the ground, gazed at the food and fine wine in front of him, and chuckled softly.

His eyes were sowhat misty as he said to himself, “Brother Long, it seems we have no chance of eting again in this lifeti!”

As a prince of the Luotong Kingdom, because of his status and continuous efforts in cultivation, he hardly had any close friends except for Huang Xiaolong, who was his only confidant.

He slowly stepped forward, picked up the wine pot, and suddenly began guzzling it down.

The night slowly faded.

Dawn broke.

In an inn at Wanchun Town, the morning sunlight stread through the window, shining upon Huang Xiaolong.

He went to the window, stretched lazily, and took a breath of the fresh air that blew in.

A while later, Huang Xiaolong stepped out of the room.

By then, Giant Ghost Feng Yang was waiting respectfully outside Huang Xiaolong’s room and bowed as he saw him erge.

“Let’s go,” Huang Xiaolong said.

After settling accounts with Giant Ghost Feng Yang, they left Wanchun Town and soared toward Luotong Kingdom.

Since he was passing by, Huang Xiaolong intended to visit Lutong Royal City to see how Lu Kai was doing—it had been many years since they’d last shared a drink.

The sunshine was glorious, and although Huang Xiaolong and his companion were breaking through the air, they did not attract the attention of others.

With their current speed, even average Innate Tenth Rank experts would be unable to see their figures, let alone those Innate Middle or Initial Stage experts.

As for the ordinary civilians, it was even less likely that they would catch a glimpse of the two.

In a small kingdom like Luotong Kingdom, not to ntion Innate Middle Stage experts, it would be challenging to find even a few Innate Early Stage experts.

Huang Xiaolong and Feng Yang flew across the sky and after an hour, they crossed the border of Luotong Kingdom and entered its territory—heading straight to the manor that once belonged to Huang Family Manor.

The Huang Family Manor had been destroyed by the Great Sword Sect of the Violent Dragon Kingdom.

Now, the manor was deserted, overgrown with weeds, and parts of the walls were crumbling with many areas collapsed.

Hovering in mid-air, gazing down at the ruins of Huang Family Manor, Huang Xiaolong sighed inwardly.

With a flash of his body, he landed in the courtyard he used to live in.

The tree in the yard was still there.

In the corner of the yard, so stone stools remained stacked.

Looking at the palm imprints on the stone stools, Huang Xiaolong smiled.

He rembered that he used to test the strength of his palm power on these stools whenever he made a breakthrough—those imprints were from those tis.

Standing in front of the room, Huang Xiaolong pushed the door and entered; dust covered the floor.

He touched the wooden bed in the room, and thick dust had accumulated on it.

“It seems I need to find soone to repair Huang Family Manor,” Huang Xiaolong thought to himself.

He had left Huang Family Manor many years ago to avoid the people from the Great Sword Sect of the Violent Dragon Kingdom, and later, he took his family to the Broken Blade Empire Imperial City to hide from the Divine Hall.

After he would destroy the Divine Hall in the future, he planned to bring his family back to live in Huang Family Manor.

Huang Xiaolong knew that his parents had always missed Huang Family Manor too.

“Let’s go,” Huang Xiaolong said as he left the room.

He and Giant Ghost Feng Yang left the manor, then headed toward the Royal City of Luotong Kingdom.

More than an hour later, they arrived at the Luotong Kingdom Royal City.

In the past, it took Huang Xiaolong several months to travel from Huang Family Manor to Lutong Royal City, but now it only took one or two hours.

Standing before the gates of Lutong Royal City and looking at the citizens entering and leaving through the city gates, he felt nostalgic once more, lingering for a while before he and Giant Ghost Feng Yang entered the city.

Although Giant Ghost Feng Yang had concealed his ghost energy, his towering height of more than four ters still made him the subject of frequent curious glances from passersby once they entered the city.

Huang Xiaolong did not mind.

As they walked along, Huang Xiaolong stopped; looking ahead, he saw the Delicious Restaurant.

He rembered the Snow Moon Wine from this restaurant had a rather good taste.

So, Huang Xiaolong walked into the restaurant with Giant Ghost Feng Yang.
