The dark cloud coalescing overhead contained at least five million mosquitoes. The sky-blotting sight was like sothing from a nightmare. The area around the large green boulder was filled with a deafening, vibrating BUZZ. Even the air grew hot.
'Hmph... a parlor trick, nothing more.'
Tu Xiao'an watched coolly, his expression full of disdain. A trick like this might scare ordinary people, but in his eyes, it was nothing.
Just then, the hook-nosed man lowered his Jade Flute, his eyes wild with madness. He was clearly very satisfied with his masterpiece. A gale whipped up around him as he roared, "Go, my mosquito army! Destroy everything!"
The sky-blotting cloud of mosquitoes swept toward Tu Xiao'an, completely eclipsing the moonlight and plunging everything into darkness.

In an instant, the Fla that had erupted from his body soared upward, forming a giant fire snake. It bared its fangs and charged into the massive cloud of mosquitoes.
A Sea of Fire flowed across the sky. Roaring waves of fla, one after another, surged forward as if to devour the mosquito cloud whole.
Smoke billowed beneath the Sea of Fire. Every mosquito that touched the scorching flas was instantly incinerated.
"This... this..."
On the large green boulder, the hook-nosed man's eyes glazed over. His hair stood on end, and his mind, completely bewildered, went blank.
In a matter of monts, the mosquito cloud he had poured all his effort into creating was burned to nothing by the Fla.
"Is this the best you can do?"
Tu Xiao'an looked at him like he was an idiot, his face filled with contempt. This was a complete waste of his ti.

The hook-nosed man spun around and shot into the darkness of She Mountain, vanishing without a trace.
He had already planned his escape route.

'Flas... This monster is a Demon who controls Elental Power! That's the most broken ability there is.'
'Among Human Awakened, only the most exceptionally talented geniuses are qualified to control Elental Power.'
'Soone with average Talent like only gets the ability to control living things after awakening. And I'm stuck controlling the weakest of them all—insects.'
Tu Xiao'an watched coolly as the man rushed into the mountain, remaining unmoved. His features were as fine as a painting, his hair lifting in the wind. A cold light glinted in his bewitching eyes.
Suddenly, he spoke, his voice low and spectral. "I already told you I'm the Snake King. And you're running into She Mountain?"
A Formless dominance ability swept out, blanketing all of She Mountain.
Tu Xiao'an didn't give chase, seemingly confident the man would return. He glanced at the towering green boulder, tapped his toes on the ground, and soared into the air like a swift swallow, landing gracefully on top of it.
This great green boulder was a familiar playmate to the children of Bai Town.
He himself had climbed up to play on it countless tis when he was young.
Then, Tu Xiao'an comfortably lay down. Above him was the vast, starry sky. The scene with the mosquito cloud felt as if it had never happened at all.
Deep within the forests of She Mountain, the hook-nosed man moved swiftly. He soon realized his opponent wasn't pursuing him, which he found incredibly strange.
'Why isn't he chasing ? Did he really just let go that easily?'
He found it hard to believe.
His opponent's unconventional move left him dumbfounded.
He was now in a dim, silent patch of woods. He couldn't help but swallow hard. The forest was too quiet. He couldn't hear a single cicada, and the empty air seed to carry the faint scent of blood.
Suddenly...
HISS...
HISS...
HISS...
A series of hisses echoed incessantly through the quiet woods. The hook-nosed man tensed up. In the darkness, pairs of faintly glowing eyes began to appear with the sounds.
SWOOSH...
A long, slender shadow shot out from the darkness. The hook-nosed man reacted quickly, grabbing it with his bare hand. The next second, a chill of terror shot through him.
He had caught a hideous, terrifying Snake. It bared its two pale fangs, from which dripped erald-green Venom.
Terrified, he imdiately threw it aside, his back drenched in cold sweat.
But this was only the beginning. In the dark woods, countless pairs of glowing eyes revealed their true forms: one terrifying venomous Snake after another, slithering toward him. They were Spiritual and Fierce, baring their fangs nacingly.
By the ti the hook-nosed man realized the danger, he was already silently encircled by a massive horde of venomous snakes.
He was like prey, about to be torn apart and devoured by them.
A sinister wind howled past, carrying the stench of blood. The hook-nosed man swallowed hard a few tis, his throat completely dry.
A bloodcurdling scream shot toward the heavens.
It was followed by the frenzied attack of countless venomous snakes in the darkness.
