"Who helped ?" Tu Xiao’an demanded, floating up from the ground.
The old monster stared gloomily at the Purple Gold Snake and said indifferently, "You’re not qualified to ask . Scram, or I’m afraid I’ll change my mind."
"Hahaha..."
Tu Xiao’an suddenly burst out laughing. With a shake, he transford into a handso young man and said, "I’ve told you, my fate is in my own hands. I don’t need anyone’s help, and I certainly don’t need you to show rcy."
The favor was too great. The problem was, Tu Xiao’an didn’t even know who had helped him, and that didn’t sit well with him.
Besides, he had already decided to take this old monster as his War Servant. He didn’t need anyone’s help, much less owe so mysterious, massive favor.
"You ungrateful snake. I promised soone I would spare you, and so I will. Now, scram."
The old monster’s gaze was filled with disdain and contempt for Tu Xiao’an.
With that, he turned to leave.
"Stop right there! Make things clear first. Who exactly is helping ?"
"You aren’t qualified to know."
WHOOSH...
The space before the old monster rippled, and Tu Xiao’an suddenly appeared, blocking his path.
"Are you really looking to die?" The old monster, surprised, flew into a rage.
’I spared this snake, and not only is he not grateful, but he dares to pester ?’
’He really has a death wish.’
"Listen here. It’s not about you sparing anymore. It’s about I, the Snake King, not sparing you," Tu Xiao’an said, his eyes opening. An unlting Frost seed to gather between his brows, and his expression was aloof, cold, and utterly clear.
"Hahaha..."
The old monster reacted as if he’d heard the world’s greatest joke. "And how, pray tell, do you plan on *not* sparing ?"
"I’m going to take you as my War Servant, to be enslaved by for the rest of your life," Tu Xiao’an said, staring fixedly into the other’s eyes, completely unafraid.
The mont he spoke, it was as if a sudden gale swept through, as if the very wind trembled in shock at his words.
To say such a thing was simply courting death. A blatant death wish.
BOOM...
The old monster suddenly erupted with a terrifying, majestic aura. His gaze was sharp as lightning as he stared into Tu Xiao’an’s eyes and said softly, "Say that again. What is it you want to do?"
The old monster’s glare was now so terrifying it could scare a Fierce Ghost. No one would dare et his eyes. The very air rippled and trembled.
Human Form Integrity: 99%... 98%... 97%... 96%...
And yet, Tu Xiao’an defiantly t the other’s terrifying gaze, a confident smile playing on his lips as he softly enunciated, "I said, I’m going to take you as my War Servant."
"Hahaha..."
"One can escape the calamities of heaven, but never the fate they bring upon themselves!" The old monster suddenly looked to the sky and shouted, "You heard him! It’s not that I don’t want to let him go, but that this snake insists on dying!"
In that instant, Tu Xiao’an was sent flying by an imnse force. If not for the secret support of the Gold Elent, his newly ford human body would have dissipated once more.
After being thrown back, Tu Xiao’an forced his body under control and hovered in mid-air. With his hair flying and his features as handso as a painting, he declared in a loud, clear voice, "Unconditional Subjugation!"
Subjugate... Subjugate... Subjugate...
As his words echoed, sand and stones were whipped up from the open ground. A fierce wind raged, and in an instant, a brilliant light enveloped the old monster.
Hmm?
’I’d like to see what tricks this snake has to be so brazen. Take as a War Servant?’
’It’s the most ridiculous thing in the world. Anyone who says sothing like that is either a madman or a fool.’

And yet, as the brilliant light enveloped him, the old monster’s heart inexplicably trembled. His clothes began to flutter as a mysterious and powerful suction force pulled at his body.
The next mont, the old monster saw a brilliantly lit Bottomless Pit appear before him. It was incredibly dazzling, and the suction force it generated began to drag him inside.
’What’s going on? What is this power?’
The old monster realized his body was moving against his will, slowly being drawn toward the Bottomless Pit.
He was imdiately on guard. ’No, this power doesn’t belong to that Snake Spirit.’
This power made his heart tremble, and a sense of imminent danger arose within him.
How could the old monster dare to be dismissive any longer? The imnse power within him erupted from his body with a series of deafening booms. It was a Heaven Shocking Power, enough to stir the sun, moon, and stars and scatter the clouds.
Huh???
But he still couldn’t stabilize himself. He was still being dragged, inch by inch, toward the dazzling Bottomless Pit. The suction force enveloping him grew more and more intense, and it seed that no matter how imnse or terrifying the power he unleashed, he was powerless to resist.
’How is this possible? This can’t be real!’ The old monster’s mind was in turmoil, and his expression turned savage.
’Could a power that even *he* can’t control possibly exist in Wencheng?’
"Solidify!" He continuously unleashed his imnse power, desperately trying to stabilize his body.
But the suction force kept dragging him toward the Bottomless Pit.
In his desperation, the old monster stomped both feet heavily into the ground, sinking deep into the earth. But it was all in vain. His feet simply carved through the dirt, dragging him forward as if he were a plow.
"Snake Spirit, what have you done?!"
The old monster roared in panic.
"If you go into that Bottomless Pit, you’ll beco my War Servant," Tu Xiao’an said, the corners of his mouth lifting as excitent flashed in his eyes.
’Unconditional subjugation... it’s actually the system forcibly subjugating the target for . It’s not my own power at all.’
Seeing this monstrously arrogant old monster reveal a look of panic for the first ti, Tu Xiao’an felt an indescribable sense of satisfaction.
"Wretch!"
The old monster was driven mad with rage. He raised a palm and swatted at Tu Xiao’an. The strike was so powerful that the very space around Tu Xiao’an began to twist, scaring him into a hasty retreat.
"Stop! Stop, I say!"
The brilliant Bottomless Pit was now less than a ter away. The old monster could feel a vast, primordial power emanating from within it—a power that felt like it could utterly crush him.
’Terrifying... far too terrifying.’ The old monster struggled with all his might to break free of the suction and stabilize his body. The power radiating from him was magnificent, enough to split mountains and shatter stone, yet he simply could not escape the pull.
The old monster finally understood the true aning of being powerless. He panted, unleashing terrifying power. A brilliant light flashed in his eyes as he used every last ounce of his strength.
But he was getting closer, closer and closer. The Bottomless Pit before him was like an abyss. If he were swallowed, he would be dood beyond redemption.
He no longer doubted the Snake Spirit’s words. If he was swallowed, he would be finished.
The blood in the old monster’s veins felt like it was boiling. Filled with unbearable Fury, he struck out with both palms at the brilliant Bottomless Pit. The force of his palms howled like a hurricane, powerful enough to topple mountains and overturn seas.
Each of his palm strikes was powerful enough to kill an awakened Rank Two Spirit Monster, but the Bottomless Pit was Devouring everything. All of his attacks were in vain.
"No... no..."
The old monster felt like he was going insane. ’What is this? What’s happening?’ The sudden plot twist left him utterly dumbfounded.
He was about to be swallowed. He couldn’t control his own body. He could only watch helplessly as he "voluntarily" entered the Bottomless Pit.
